iPad 2 smart cover. Mine is falling apart and has marked my screen protector with black lines. Anyone else experienced this?
Mine has worked fine. What model do you have, the leather or the other? I've read of others using screen protectors like Zagg absorbing some of the dye. Of course considering the cost they are to produce ($12 is what I read for the leather) it doesn't surprise me some of the dye is coming out. I have wiped my black leather down with high grade leather cleaner / oil and you can clearly see it on the rag.

I am having problems with the Ipad accepting my password in the secure mode in Wifi. I can get into wifi when the secure mode is off. This only started when I downloaded the lastest update for the Ipad. Anyone else having the same problems? I have rebooted the Rotar and still doesn't work.

Which secure mode are you using with your wireless network - WEP or WPA?
Have you tried forgetting this network on your iPad, and/or resetting network settings on your iPad? Both will require rejoining the network and the latter will require rejoining every wi-fi network your iPad has access to when returning within range of the network. -
After downloading iTones 10.5.1, the artwork matchs the song that is playing on my iMac but the artwork does not sync properly on my Apple TV. The artwork lags one cover behind. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem.
I think it is just a bug, but it in very frustrating. I was using just now for about an hour and suddenly the correct artwork appeared for what was playing....but then all went wrong again!!
Apple, please, please issue a patch for this. It surely cannot be too complicated to correct. -

My new iPad camera just freezes up and does not store any photos. Also my photo folder did not populate from my backup. Is anyone else having the same issue. If so what can I do to get the camera to take and store the picture. I am running the lastest operating system version.

Mac mini crashing into the login screen. Anyone else experiencing the same and know of a solution?
I have a Mac mini (mid-2010) with 5GB of RAM and running OS X Lion 10.7.2 and lately I've been noticing it crash and take me directly to the login screen. After I sign back in everything reboots to where I left off. I believe the problem is related to Safari. I normally have many instances of Safari browser windows open and I'm wondering if that might be the issue? Is anyone else experiencing this problem and have they found any remedies?
Note the time it freezes. That upon next successful start open the Console app in the Utilities folder and look for associated log entries at that time and post them here

I own three Apple devices, but my iPad remained associated with my old email address and password. How can I register it with the same new email and password?
If you updated your existing account then try logging out of it on the iPad by tapping on the id in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on the iPad. If you created a new account then any content that you purchased/downloaded via the old account will remain tied to that old account, and only that old account can download updates to its apps.

Has anyone else had the day view crash calendar in iOS 7.1 on iPad Air?
I recently updated to iOS 7.1 on my iPad Air (128 GB cellular). When I go to the calendar app and select the new "Day" view, the calendar app crashes.
I have iCloud calendar and two Google calendars syncing with the device. When I disable all calendars from syncing, I no longer experience a crash in the "Day" view.
Has anyone else had similar experiences?

FyzelSwitching to day view doesn't crash calendar but I can't launch the calendar app in iOS 7.1 (on my iPad 2) if synch is in and it was last in day view. It crashes on launch.

I have updated my Apple TV to 5.1. Using the Remote app on my IPhone and iPad I can browse the music library on the Apple TV but I cannot select a song to play. Has someone else the same problem?
MatsI think I found the reason. On my iMac that is hosting the music library a song already was playing. This seems to block out me from selecting another song though my Apple TV.

my ipad will not connect to yahoo or aol mail, anymore. my mother is having the same problem and also a cousin, in a different state. my cousin and i upgraded to ios 6 and my mother did not. i do not understand why this is happening.
I should add that i have also done:
- reset (holding two buttons)
- updated software to latest IOS
- done a full restore to original settings
None of this has solved the problem. -
I can't connect to the iTunes store from my iMac and have problems loading a number of other websites, however some websites load perfectly well. I have had the iTunes store issue on my iPad and resolved it by changing the DNS but surely I should use the DNS for my router. I don't really want to change it for the iMac as I access secure sites with it to internet shop.
Any ideas, I was going to try loading Chrome but can't get it without going through the iTunes store. I can't believe that Palm doesn't come up with a fix or patch for the Tungsten E2 to be compatible with M/S Vista (64-bit), or a new Palm Pilot that will work with Vista. I use(d) my Palm all the time, and have found it terribly inconvenient that not I'm without the use of it, or at least the ability to back up or synchronize the Palm with my computer, in the off chance that my Palm crashed and I lost everything I have in it. Anyone feel the same?
