What type of account did you set-up on the iPad, POP, IMAP, the items on your iPad could have downloaded off the server or you will need wait awhile for the message to update to the iPad.

Yes, I know that, but it was easier to see it on the Iphone self, like the other company phones. The name of the picture taken should be the date when it was taken.

Ipad buying senerio? camera quality

i can't decide on getting the new ipad (3) with 32 gb and use that camera to make my videos. or get the ipad 16gb and buy a 150-200$ camera. my question is how much does the quality of the new ipad camera cost ( 5 megapixels 1080p) is it over a 100$ camera if i were to buy a seperate camera with the same quality?

It sounds like your replacement iPad has the same camera issue that your previous iPad had. If you haven’t already, try ruling out any issues that may have carried over with a previous backup by restoring the device to factory settings as shown here:

IPad buying limit still in effect?

I purchased 3 iPads at launch and couldnt place any more orders after that. I just got a gift card and i decided to get an iPad for myself today so i placed an order for one. I am just worried whether it will ship or not (its in the prepared for shipment stage and it should ship within 24 hrs). Does anyone have any information on this?

If you purchase an app for the iPad, you can install it in iPads and sometimes, in iPhones and iPods touch. The Mac uses a different operating system that requires another application version, so you have to purchase the apps for OS X

If this will be your first iPad, buy one! If you have the original iPad, buy one! If you own N iPad2, you most likely can wait another year unless you're someone who MUST have the latest.
As to the Smart Cover and heat issues, i have had neither. I ordered the red leather Smart Cover when I ordered my iPad and it works perfectly. I have noticed NO heat issues and I use my mostly on my lap so I think I would notice it!
As to slow battery charging, it certainly is if using a USB port, even a fast one. Mine was slow to fully charge the first time, but is now no differs than my original iPad. I do use the optional 10W Power Adapter I got for my first iPad as where I use it, the cord provided is not long enough. I have no idea if that makes a difference or not.
I have the basic iPad - wifi only - the $499 model. I cannot speak about the other models.
For some reason, people just love to make angry claims about Apple products. I got my first Apple computer in 1990 and have had many different products over the years. All of mine worked just great and were working when they were replaced, with the exception of one HD which did go bad after 4 years.
Just remember - over 3 million of these have been sold and there are not 3 million people complaining!

Looking for a PDF app for iPad

Hi,
I'm sure I'm not the only one who's thought of this so I'm a believer that someone has created an app to help me and I can't find it!
Pretty much, I'm looking for an app that will allow me to edit PDF's on my ipad and then send it (Via WiFi or Bluetooth) to my laptop.
For example:
Drawing a graph on my ipad, with detailed information, sending that to my macbook and then adding/inserting it to my PDF file on my laptop
(Like getting a notification on my mac, loading it, draging it to my pdf, and vola!)
If there is such a thing can someone help me out (If not feel free to take my idea and makes some money off of it, just let me know that you did!)

It takes care of all my needs
I'm not sure about sending via Wifi or Bluetooth but I send them via e- mail all the time
Possibly it could handle your needs as well
Just type it into the App Store search field and the first one that comes up is the one I use
Jump on over there and read up on it before buying and see if it will help you

IPad Video Syncing problems

My iPad 2 used to sync my videos stored in iTunes to my iPad, buy one day stopped syncing them. I upgraded to iOS5 and iTunes 10.5 and tried again, but am having no luck.
In iTunes I select the movie from the movies catogory, and have tried sync all, sync video playlist and sync manually. When i select it, the capasity counter down the bottom increases by 1gb (the size of my file). I press sync. It goes through the motions and when it finishes it reverts back to 14mb. I tried putting it into iPhoto and checking the sync movies tab, same thing occurs. I looked in my photos section of my iPad and looked in the event where the movie should be and it tells me "1 photo or video could not sync. see iTunes for details". And only gives me the option of "ok". I looked in the iTunes on my iPad and my mac and both of them don't tell me anything.
I'm pulling my hair out and any help would be appricated.

Can i use 2 ipad's on the same itunes account with different apple accounts?

Both me and partner have an ipad 4. Though we only have one computer, can we use the same itunes but with different apple acount without any issues? We use some of the same apps, but my partner plays fx Baldus Gate and is worries that save files will be corrupted.

Each iPad should be linked to its owner's personal, private and nonshared AppleID. In the Mac, each one should have a different login account so each has their own iTunes Library containing your iPad's details. When you use iTunes on the Mac, since each logs in with a different login and corresponding Home directory, iTunes picks up the correct AppleID.

IPad shows "No Data" for Videos when I have movies stored.

Short version:
I've had lots of issues with downloading movies to my iPad from iTunes. When it works, the "videos" section under Settings > General > Usage shows "No data" as if it's not reading the storage. I'll have 6 movies but it shows nothing stored on the iPad.
Detailed version:
I'm on my 3rd or 4th try of "Erase all settings and content" without using an iCloud back up. My 3rd gen iPad will work fine for a month or more after that then start having tons of problems with downloading movies and performace. I'll set a movie to download from iTunes, go do something else and my iPad will become so slow its unusable. The downloads will fail but not alert me, they just restart and loop repeatedly. As of now it's working fine but my third party warranty is running out and I need to decide if somethings really wrong with it or is this an issue with iOS 7. I've taken it to the genius bar, the guy suggested I plug it into iTunes, download a fresh OS and start over again. Since then, its been largely fine. Only one movie failed and tried again then worked. The performance has been fine but I've been burned by this before...its fine for a while then goes to complete crap. I've also had the WIFI showing as connected but will not recieve any data until I simply restart and its fine. This has happened every time I've reset so its not isolated to one glitchy install.
I've asked for help before but no one has ever replied, if someone can give me a suggestion whether to tough it out or make a claim and pay $50 for a refurbished iPad that would be very helpful. If you need more details just ask, I've done all I can think of.

You can connect the printer to a computer and install software on your iPad/computer to print from your ipad to the comptuer then to the printer.

Ipad Wi-Fi not highlighted

my ipad has stopped letting me see the wi-fi selection it is dull- not highlighted so it will not let me touch to select- therefore it will not go to internet
??? any ideas please !??

i have done the resets- reset ipad buy holding both buttons etc- reset network settitng- taken out sim and reset set- no idea what to do next- it has no reason to stop working- all other devises are working withthe wifi- its just the ipad that will not highlight to use

Buying as a gift

I am buy an iPad mini as a gift for someone in Portugal would I be better off buying it there or could I buy in UK before I go?

If it's a Wi-Fi iPad, you can buy it wherever you want, but I would recommend you to buy it in Portugal because of the warranty. Then, if it's a Wi-Fi + Cellular iPad, buy it in Portugal, just to prevent problems with carriers there
