    Hi kamalkumar,
I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with your iPhone.
The article below will provide some troubleshooting steps for this issue:
    iPhone: Hardware troubleshooting
Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIs and corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 15 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged. Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
If the display turns on, go to step 4.
If the display remains black, go to next step.
Connect the iPhone to a computer and open iTunes. If iTunes recognizes the iPhone and indicates that it is in recovery mode, attempt to restore the iPhone. If the iPhone doesn't appear in iTunes or if you have difficulties in restoring the iPhone, see this article for further assistance.
If restoring the iPhone resolved the issue, go to step 4. If restoring the iPhone did not solve the issue, seek service.
I hope this information helps ....
    Have a great day!

If this doesn't work, and there is not lint or anything like that in the connector on the iPad and other devices are detected in the same USB port on your MacBook, a trip to the Genius Bar would be in order.

  • Iphone 4 or ipad not showing in itunes 9.2 or 9.2.1

Hi. I cannot get my iPhone or iPad to show up in iTunes 9.2 or 9.2.1. The only solution is to reinstall iTunes as it shows up after installation allowing me to sync. If I then restart the computer it doesn't show again so I then reinstall iTunes so that the devices appear. It only seems to affect the iphone/ipad as my old ipod shuffle appears everytime.
Am really confused and wondered if you kind folks had any solutions as to the problem or have experienced this?
    Thanks Rob

    Hey guys,
I work for an Apple Authorised Reseller in Tasmania. Today we had a customer come in with his recently purchased iPhone 4 with this exact issue. Where he could get the iPhone to appear once reinstalling iTunes but once the computer was restarted or turned off and back on it would stop appearing until iTunes was reinstalled again.
I did I quick look online and found this topic with no answer. We were baffled at first but after a few routine tests like new data cable, connect to different USB, we ended up updating the customers Macbook 13" to the latest OS and any other updates available. One of those being the iPhone SDK update (don't know if this would help or not) but once we updated the lot his computer begun working without fail.
I guess all I could suggest is make sure that your computer's OS and software is up to date.

  • TS3219 iPad not showing on iTunes

Hi! I have this problem recently...
I plug my ipad to my laptop, open iTunes and my iPad doesn't show on it
I have done a reset of my iPad and also I have unistalled and istalled again iTunes
Still my iPad won't appear on iTunes
    I use Windows 7
Anyone can tell me what can I do?
    Thanx!

There is still one more option other than a reinstall of iTunes.
Have you considered updating SL to 10.6.7 which is the most current version? I recently upgraded from OSX 10.5.8 on my MacBook to SL 10.6.3 using the install disk that came the Mac Boxed Set (included iWork '09 and iLife '11) and experienced the same problem as you.
When I first tried to sync my iPad with the new OS (10.6.3), iTunes would not recognize the device. I had been using the iPad for 6 months without a single issue while running 10.5.8. so I was somewhat bummed. (I performed a Time Machine Backup prior to installing SL just in case)
I rebooted both devices and still no luck. As I was fiddling around try to figure out what to do, Software Update popped up as there were further updates to the SL software. I decided I had nothing to lose so I updated all the way to 10.6.7, rebooted both devices and the iPad was recognized in iTunes just as it should be.
My point is with 10.6.3 I could not get iTunes to recognize my iPad. Once I updated all the way to 10.6.7 all was right with the Apple World again.
Quick addition - iOS 4.3.3 is now out so you can update the iPad as well once you get this resolved. There is also a further update to iTunes - 10.2.2.

  • IPad not showing in iTunes 10.4.1

If you can help, since upgrading to iTunes 10.4.1 my iPad, or iPod for that matter no longer shows in iTunes.
I've tried turning the Mac on/off, resetting the iPad, changing the lead, changing the USB port, uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes.  iPhoto shows the iPad as does my girlfriends iTunes 10.3.1.
Its clearly a fault with the new software, any ideas on how it can be fixed. Many Thanks.

There may be various issues associated with updating to iTunes 10.4.1 but I was able to fix my problem with iTunes not seeing my devices. iTunes would start fine but connecting my iPhone or iPad would result in the beach ball hang. I noticed the same thing would happen if I tried to click on the MobileMe icon on the status bar so it pointed to a sync services problem. Looking in "~/Library/Application Support/SyncServices" I saw some "ErrorInfo.txt" files with "SyncDataDirectoryCorruptedException, reason = The Admin Database does not exist. It should have been created by upgradedb."
I had already reinstalled Lion to get iTunes10.4 back which didn't help so that step may not be necessary but I restored "~/Library/Application Support/SyncServices/Local" from my Time Machine backup from the day before the 10.4.1 update and that fixed my problem.
I've re-updated to 10.4.1 and everything still works.

  • Iphone doesnt show on itunes

i phone doesnt show on itunes

without any more specific info all i can offer is generic advice
reset your iPhone. Hold down the sleep and home buttons for about 20 seconds. When you see the silver apple, let go and let it reboot and try again
Try a different cable and usb port
make sure iTunes is up to date

  • Ipad dosnt show in itunes

problem wit ipad showing in itunes computer pings to say somethings connected bu dose not show up in itunes.
done the usual reinstall itunes used different cables and usb ports nothing working.

Some Windows user is going to jump in with the name of the Windows utility or app or whatever it is that is actually used to connect up to the iPad, the name of which I've forgotten and won't be looking up right now. You can either wait a while or perhaps run a websearch for it on Google or whatever you like to use.
I could do that also, but I don't run Windows and I'd just forget it again.

  • Podcast saying its submitted but doesnt show on iTunes

Our podcast had a one year hiatus... we recently started it back up again using the same feed... everyone who had previously subscribed got the new episode, but there's no sign of it on iTunes nearly 10 days after it went up.. Our feed is..
    http://feeds.feedburner.com/vrecordings
When I try to resubmit iTunes tells me the feed is already submitted..
Anyone got any ideas how we can get it showing on iTunes again?

i am having the exact same issue, we have been running it for 5 years, had 26 volumes and now it has disappeared from iTunes.
we can still download the new podcast by subscribing to the feed in iTunes (file>subscribe to podcast) an the new item downloads fine.
but the podcast cannot be found in itunes.
when trying to resubmit is says the feed has already been submitted!
checked all the code, has driven me insane - valid feed but not showing up
as you say not getting much from support either

  • My ipad is showing an itunes icon and USB cord and is frozen.

My ipda is showing a USB plug and cable with an itunes icon and is frozen

Is this the first time you've fired it up? If so, what it wants you to do is to attach it to a computer that's running ITunes 10.5. iTunes will then 'see' the iPad and start a dialogue box to activate the iPad.

  • Ipad not showing in itunes on wifi

Since upgrading to iOS6 my iPad doesn't show up in iTunes unless it's physically connected to my Mac. I checked in iTunes and "Sync over Wifi" is checked. Any thoughts?

Are you running the latest version of iTunes? Althought, frankly, I have found WiFi syncing with the latest version of iTunes to be somewhat unreliable myself.
Have you tried quitting iTunes, restarting the iPad and restarting your Mac? That's the course of action that I follow when I run into this with my iPad and iTunes on my MacBook and it usually works.
When that doesn't work, I connect to iTunes with the cable and uncheck Sync Over Wifi. Then I click on Apply and sync the iPad. After that I check the sync over Wifi option again, click on Apply and then I quit iTunes, disconnect the iPad, launch iTunes again and then it will work for me again.
