IPad IOS 7, Can no longer zoom by pinching

Since updating to IOS 7.1.2, I can't zoom video during capture or playback by pinching or un-pinching.  I've tried new combinations of fingers/swipes etc, but to no avail.  I can't find anything about it in either New Features or Bugs.  Anyone have the same problem?

Well, "Yes" that makes it work, though it is quite different.  It used to be that you could just pinch or un-pinch to zoom and move during video playback.  With the three finger method (intended for the vision-impaired, probably) it isn't as intuitive, but it can be done.  So I say "Thank You" to you, Bobseufert.  But I would also say "Why delete such a useful and intuitive function" to Apple.
