Hi Sir,
We have an application which was working well all the way from iOS version 5 until iOS version 6; but when we upgrade the iOS to 7,we have the problem at launching the application. We need your assistance to resolve this.

Try this  - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430

    You want to just use Dropbox until the dust settles.  To use it from iWork for iOS (assuming you have the Dropbox app installed on your device), open the document in Keynote (for example), tap the share icon (box with upward pointing arrow), choose Open in Another App, choose Keynote as your format, then choose Open in Dropbox and you will get an option to save it to your Dropbox account.  To open it from Dropbox in iWork for iOS, open the document in the Dropbox app, tap the share icon, tap Open in Keynote (for example).  It's a bit clunky, but works.

    I hate to, but I feel I am a guinea pig at 700.00 a crack 128gb mini.

    also, the colors on the new ipad mini seem dull and off. I have a plum colored car and it looks brown on the mini.

    i bought an iPad Mini Retina earlier this week
    came back home, updated to iOS 7.0.4 and it crashed many times, while browsing settings but also some apps
    i had it exchanged because of a yellow tint on the screen
    got a new one, under 7.0.3, also crashed several times, updated to 7.0.4, still crashing
    wondering if the new 64-bit processor has something to do with the code used for iOS

    I use the i-Blason Cushion Sleeve. The iPad Mini fits great and there is a little zipper pouch for a charger and stylus.

    Thanks for that. Yes, the ipad was purchased recently. I called Apple last Friday and they ask for the receipt. I wonder if anyone were able to swap their ipad for a larger storage in the past at the apple store without a receipt? 16Gb is such a small storage.

    Are you trying to use the phone in Bahrain with a supported carrier there? I suspect not. If you try to use this phone outside of Bahrain, you won't have FaceTime. This is done to prevent folks from simply crossing the border to purchase iPhones in Bahrain...FaceTime is banned in Saudi Arabia & the UAE. Sorry, but you'll only have FaceTime on that phone while using it in Bahrain on a supported carrier's network there.

    If you are having an issue with your iPad randomly restarting, I would suggest that you troubleshoot using the steps in this article - 
    iOS: Device unexpectedly restarts, displays Apple logo, or powers off
    In particular, since your iPad is up to date with iOS 8.0.2 -
    If you still see this issue after updating, contact Apple Support.

    Probablemente un problema de hardware. Creo que es hora de llevarlo a la tienda de Apple más cercano. Podría haber un cambio suelto o mal connecters.

  • Bought new iPad mini retina but cant find install free iWork apps like Keynote. Where can I find/install Them?

    When configuring my new iPad mini retina last weekend I first ignored the questions on the installation of the free iWork apps.
    Now I would like to install them but I only find the paid version in the App Store. What am I donning wrong. Or was it a missed opportunity and bad luck for me.

    I had exactly the same problem but my son told me I had to update to the most up to date ios first.  Currently it's only got version 6.1 on it, and it didn't say there was an update available but when I click "check for updates" it started to install version 7.  I believe you need version 7 installed first, then if you go to the Store, it will say the software is free to download.   I'll check back once it's finished installing the update and let you know.

    When I try to register my iPad mini with the Apple Support in my profile page, it says that my serial number is already registered to another Apple ID, and to check to see if I've got any other IDs. I ordered this directly from Apple when it was released, and it had never been opened. I contacted Apple, and their records show that it's registered to me. But I'd like to register it online so I can submit questions and any maintenance requests, which I can't do because I can't register it. Has anyone else had this problem?

    I tried. They said their records showed that the iPad was registered to my Apple ID. They had no explanation why my serial number couldn't be registered. Felt I was getting the run around so I thought I'd toss it out to the community.

    You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7-8 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them.     Are you sure your phone has not been unlocked or jailbroken at some time as the same thing happened to me.
    I had the phone secondhand and did not know. Updating to IOS 5 locked the phone back to the original service provider which was AT&T in USA and I am in UK.

    Finally I got a solution from an Apple guy today. First we did the following steps on an iPad and then on iPhone.
    Basically, it comes down to this:
    general/restore/ erase all content and settings
    set up the iPhone/iPad as a new device
    type your iCloud account info
    once everything is up and running, wait for a while and first check on contacts, calendars, notes if it's syncing with the iCloud, then open safari and look for the other device. In my case it worked and iPad finally detected iPhone and I could see the safari tabs from the iPhone on the iPad.
    But then, Iphone still couldn't detect the iPad, so the guy said the original problem was probably in iPhone. And so we did the whole thing again on iPhone and then I finally had my tabs from all devices visible on every device.

    Yes it will work. iPads work world wide. LTE works in only some countries including Saudi Arabia. http://www.apple.com/ipad/LTE/
    If you can't get an LTE connection it will fall back to 3G.
