IPad mini stuck in headphones mode with no headphones

My iPad mini is stuck using head phones. And won't work with out them

Was anyone able to resolve the issue?  I've troubleshot almost everything imaginable and it seems to be either:
1. Hardware issue
2. Tied to the AppleTV we added (perhaps a software bug)
3. Tied to iOS 7.1.1 upgrade combined with AppleTV
Thanks in advance for any help!  :-)

  • Ipad mini stuck in airplane mode and won't reset

My ipad mini is stuck on airplane mode and I can't take it off.  I therefore don't have access to wifi.  It keeps asking me to enter my facetime login but I can't do that.  It also won't let me reset the phone.  Please help, any ideas?

Have you tried a restore in DFU mode? Sometime when a normal restore doesn't work, a DFU restore does the trick.
Entering DFU Mode on iPhone, iPad or iPod touch
Plug your device into your computer with a USB cable.
    Turn off the device.
Hold the Power button for 3 seconds.
Hold the Home and Power buttons for 10 seconds.
Release the Power button but keep holding the Home button.
After about 15 seconds you will be alerted by iTunes saying that it has detected a device in Recovery Mode.
Make sure that when it says in iTunes that it is in restore mode that the iPad's screen is blank, that means it's in DFU mode.
    Hope it helps

  • Ipad mini stuck in recovery mode after ios 8.1 update

i have a first generation ipad mini which usually works fine.  last night the ios update appeared in my settings and i tried to install it.
i didnt have enough space so deleted some apps and then installed.
the ipad switched on at the end but said the update failed as i didnt have enough space i needed a little more.  i deleted more apps and attempted to install again
this failed my ipad is now stuck in recovery mode, it hasn't taken itself out as apples help pages suggest after 15 minutes its been in recovery now for 15 hours
i have tried to connect to itunes as the screen is telling me to but it will not recover from there either as apparently i can't connect to apple servers my connection isnt working - i assume because others are having this problem as i a using the same pc to post this message so know my network is fine.
i need help to get out of recovery mode - itunes says my software is up to date so i may have this nightmare software already.

i originally tried to install the update using wifi and this did not work.  i think i might just chuck the thing as looking on the boards all my stuff will be lost anyway - i backed up 2 days ago but that is nowhere to be found now in itunes or the cloud kmt

  • Ipad Mini stuck in upgrade mode

During softwar upgrade my son pulled minipad from USB port.  Pad is stuck in upgrade mode and unable to power down.  The apple icon with 1/8 of the status bar is on main screen.  Any suggestions on how to get out of "stuck mode"

You can try rebooting the iPad, but if that wont work, you will probably have to restore using recovery mode.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

  • IPad mini stuck in recovery mode

I was getting a software update when my screen turned black and then showed the iTunes icon with a USB/charger thing with arrow pointing to the iTunes icon. My iPad will not respond to any other commands. I did some research and based on what I found I think I am stuck in recovery mode. Is there a possible way to get out of recovery mode and not lose all of my iPads data? Also I do not have an iTunes account. I would be extremely disappointed if my iPad lost all of its data. Thank you and if you see this and know how to get out of recovery mode PLEASE help I am desperate. THX

I fix it by using iTuens, here we go:
Press down the Home and Power buttons on your iPad until it shuts off.
Connect iPad to your computer with the USB cable.
Press and hold down the Home button.
Hold it down until iTunes says your device is entering recovery mode.
Now you should be able to Restore using iTunes.
If it can't work out your problem, you can use iPhone Data Recovery to kick your iPad out of recovery mode.

  • IPad mini stuck in landscape mode.

I've tried all the usual fixes such as rotational lock (both with side switch and soft switch on screen), closing apps and rebooting. It is still stuck in landscape in all apps. Help!

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
Do a reset of the iPad. Hold Sleep and Home buttons until the iPad restarts. This will close all the apps, so put the iPad in vertical and see what happens.
If it doesn't work, make an iCloud or iTunes backup and go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings, so everything will be deleted and you will have to set up the iPad again. If this doesn't work, take your iPad to an Apple Store

  • IPad Mini stuck after iOS 8.0.2 update: How do I recover my data?

I purchased an iPad Mini with Retina display just before leaving on vacation 2 weeks ago and used it to take 100's of pictures.
While waiting for my return flight home I decided to apply the iOS 8.0.2 update. WHAT A MISTAKE!!! Now, my iPad is stuck in Recovery Mode and won't boot up. I tried different utilities (Mac FoneLab, RescuePhone, iPad Data Recovery, iFoneBox, ReiBoot), but none of them worked.
What can I do to recover my pictures? I have no backups.
Note: I set a simple passcode on my iPad. So, I think my data is encrypted (but I'm not sure).
    Thank you in advance
