Ipad was stolen and no longer in icloud

My ipad was previously in Icloud and had been for years. It was stolen yesterday and now when I try to track it It is no longer listed as a device in Icloud. What can I do?

Nothing. It isn't turned on and/or connected to the Internet.

The above article discusses what to do if your phone is lost or stolen. If the device did not have iCloud turned on prior to the loss, there is nothing that you can do beyond changing your passwords to you apple id.

Providing you had already enabled "find my iPad" in settings > iCloud, you can login to your iCloud account on a computer at iCloud.com , and try to track your iPod from there.

Reporting it to the police is just about your only alternative at this point.

Unfortunately not, you can only try to locate it if Find My iPad was enabled on it and the iPad is currently connected to a network and the device hasn't already been wiped and/or Find My iPad disabled on it.
If it was stolen then you should report it to the police, and if it was a cellular model you should also contact your carrier. You should also change your iTunes account password, your email account passwords, and any passwords that you'd stored on websites/emails/notes etc.

I think , you shoul backed up your data on icloud , if you , you can restore everything , if you forgot icloud id and no way to get it , i think you lost everything ...

In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")

If you haven't been automatically importing them to iPhoto or Aperture on a Mac, as mentioned by Allen, you would have to recover them by restoring your iPad backup to a replacement iPad. This will include your camera roll photos. If the backup is an iCloud backup, Apple will delete it after 180 days of inactivity so be sure to do this befor then.

If you enabled the "Find My iDevice" feature prior to the device being lost/stolen, log into iCloud and deactivate it. If you did not, there is nothing that can be done.
As for the content, it should all be on your computer, simply connect the new iPad and sync what you would like to the device.

IPAD wasa stolen. It was the original version. Probably at least 3 years old. If synced with itunes would it have the serial number etc? If apps were bought through apple would they have original information such as serial number etc.

If it had been synced to your computer's iTunes then you should be able to find it's serial number from there : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4061 :
