Ipad2: Imovie was deleted, re-install doesn't show original created movies

My daughter had created a number of movies in iMovie on the iPad. Our first one was dropped and I took it to the Apple store and they replaced it (Thank You, Apple store Pioneer Square!!!!)
When I plugged the new one in, it re-installed everything, including all the movies that my daughter created, just as if it was the first iPad we had.
Now, my other daughter(#2) just deleted iMovie, and when I re-installed it, it's like a new program, none of the movies daughter #1 created are on there.
Seems like they must be on my computer if they re-installed on the new iPad after the first was broken. Should I click "restore"? Does that bring it back to factory specs or to the last backup?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Note: I've searched for this answer on my own for quite awhile now, through norums and Apple help, with no luck.

If via iTunes on your computer you restore to the last backup then you will get whatever was stored in that backup back on the iPad - so anything that you've changed on the iPad since the backup was made will be removed from the iPad. You will need all the relevant apps on your computer's iTunes for the restore to work, as a backup contains an app's data and content, but not the actual apps themselves (so for the restore to work iTunes needs access to the apps so that it can install them and therefore their content).

No. Apple won't do anything without a court order. Since it wasn't upgraded to iOS 7 before it was stolen then there's nothing you can do. You could file a police report with your serial number but there may be a small chance.

IMovie crashed now .rcproject file doesn't show in library/project list and won't open.

iMovie crashed while I was working on a project, now I can't c the file in iMovie, however I can see it in Finder and moved to the movie folder, but it still doesn't show in my iMovie library or project list and nothing will open it. It is listed as a .rcproject and I cannot find how to open it. PLZ PLZ HELP

Were you working with iMovie 9 or 10 when you had the crash?
It sounds like you were in iMovie 10 trying to update your iMovie 9 projects into iMovie 10.
If you were working in iMovie 10, see if you can still see everything with iMovie 9.0.9 (the 2 versions have completely different media file structures).
If you were in iMovie 9 it sounds as if the .rcproject package may have got corrupted. You can look inside the package in Finder with the "show package contants" contextual menu but I would not know how to repair it manually.
Do you have a backup or are you running time machine? With a backup you should be able to replace the offending package with a working version.

Adobe's Express Install doesn't load original url

I implemented Adobe's Express Install on my website, and all
works well except at the end of the process, it doesn't
automatically close the original window with the old flash player
and it doesn't automatically reload the original url typed into the
new window with the new flash player. Adobe's documentation says
that it is designed to do this, but these final two steps don't
seem to be what happens.
Does anyone know what code must be changed to make this
happen?

PSE 8 Mac---thumbnail for actions I install doesn't show up

Hello,
I am hoping to get some advice here.
I recently upgraded to PSE 8 for Mac. I have a number of actions (.atn files) that I purchased in the past and use with PSE. I installed just one of them to make sure I could get it to work in the new program before I installed the rest of them.
The action is installed, it works, but there is no thumbnail image to show which action it is. If I mouse-over the black box where the action is, I get text that shows the name of the action. That, of course, will work, but is impractical, and it seems unneccessary, to run the program that way!
Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas on what I need to do?

Thank you, Barbara. I can see that is the problem. There are actually files there that show up when I look in the photo effects file (a thumbnail that is the appropriate size), but I just tried to open them in PSE and got an error message. I will go back to the original file and start from there.

JSC doesn't show newly created extended DataProviders

Hi,
I've been using JSC and Hibernate for a project.
According to Sun's how to using Hibernate + JSC (developers.sun.com/prodtech/javatools/jscreator/learning/tutorials/2/hibernate.html) , I've created a wrapper class which extends ObjectListDataProvider, but instead of creating the property on the SessionBean, I did it on the PageBean.
The problem is that everytime I need to add another property to a page bean using one of my wrapper classes (extending ObjectListDataProvider), after following the how to instructions (compile the project, close and reopen), it doesn't appear as a property in the Outline panel.
After a while building, cleaning, etc. I managed to get it done in one page, but on newly created pages, the property doesn't appear on the panel.
Any ideas?
P.S.: If I instantiate a ObjectListDataProvider property, it's shown correctly.

Reasons why the TV Shows did not sync to the iPad ......
Make sure that you do not have restrictions set on the iPad because that may prevent you from syncing them to the iPad. Settings>General>Restrictions. Check that and be sure that is is not enabled.
Make sure that you are logged into the correct Apple ID on the iPad that you are using on the computer when you sync.
Make sure that the movies are actually selected to sync. Connect the iPad to your computer, launch iTunes, click on your iPad name on the left under the devices heading. Click on the TV Shows Tab on the right. Makes sure that the Sync TV Shows heading is checked and make sure that the TV Shows are all selected as well. Click on Sync or Apply in the lower right corner of the iTunes window.
If the shows appeared in the purchased tab like I described above, them you should be able to download them again. If you live in one of the countries that I mentioned above, you can download them again.

Portal Management doesn't show the created portal

I have some problem with the Portal Management from evaluation version of the Weblogic
Portal Server 7.0
I followed the documentation from Bea and created a new Weblogic Portal Domain
and a new Portal.
The Portal i created worked but it is not shown in the Portal Management.
Otherwise i have assigned this portal new portlets and other skins with EBCC but
they are not available in the portal.
Can anyone help me?

if I run the report "RALM_ME_FUNCLOC_LIST" with SE38 and selection parameter func. loc. typs "S" I don't receive a newly created func. loc.
If I do the same using transaction IH06 with the same parameter, I receive the newly created func. loc.
The same happens I I start the initial replication for func. locs. The newly created isn't transfered.
Any idea?

Unfortunatly, if you look at the code a note is reffered: 772443 . There it says you cannot select from the FLTYP field (even if it is available for data entry).

Quick develop module doesn't show with cursor movement

Somehow, the little triangle that opens and closes the Quick Develop Module in my Library has become solid, so it no longer pops the menu open when I glide my cursor over to the right side of a full screen image. How do I get the Quick develop module triangle to have that shadow look again so that when I glide the cursor to it the module opens.
I must have changed this with a keystroke or something but for the life of me I cannot get it back and it's driving me crazy. I do not like the module open all the time and it's a pain to use the keystroke or click the triangle each time I need to make a quick adjustment. I hope this is not an upgrade change. I notice it is the same in my develop module.
Please help me get my little shadow back, ha.

Kodak Zi6 -- ipad2 iMovie?

I have read that as long as my movie is 720p, it should import into iPad2.
I have imported a few movies and I can play them in the Photos app with no problem. But when I open iMovie, they are not there. The Kodak Zi6 creates .mov files so you would think this would not be an issue.

In your Events library, there should be an event called "iPhoto Events". It should be in there. I have a different Kodak that shoots 720P h.264 and it works fine.

Skype was deleted from my computer and i cant get ...

So i woke up a couple days ago and i checked my computer and skype was completely gone, so i tried reinstalling it but it said already had skype. The I deleted everything that had skype in my files and programs and tried installing it again but that didn't work. I tried restarting my computer and everything, so I what should I do?

The "Object already exists" error message is known to be caused by the recent Windows Security update KB2918614. Due to changes this update made to Windows Installer, not only Skype, but also several other updates (e.g. Adobe Reader, Java and even updates for Sophos Antivirus) may suffer from this behaviour. Uninstalling this update will rectify the issue, and this update can always be subsequently reinstalled (when the affected application is successfully installed/updated).
Try to uninstall this Windows Security update KB2918614.

Outlook calendar doesn't show up on itunes 10

well, I've a weared problem: my standard outlook 2010 calendar does not appear on itunes. Itunes recognices my other two calendars, but not my standard outlook calendar. If I copy and paste all the events in my standard calendar to an other calendar (I called it "test") iTunes regocnice this test calendar and sync it. No problem... but I just want that iTunes recognices my other calendar on outlook too. So I need help on this issue, please.
What have i done:
I reinstalled outlook
I reinstalled iTunes
and I reinstalled the iOS
I exported the calendar files to an extern file and importet it again (.pst file), the same problem.
I exportet all the files in the test calendar, deletet all events in the standard calendar, so the calendar on outlook was empty but it doesn't show up on iTunes.

I hope that you've resolved your problem. In case that you didn't.
Please first copy your calendar to the Outlook data file-> calendar.
then go to itunes, connect your iphone, uncheck the box sync calendar and recheck it again.
