IPads no longer appear/sync in iTunes 11.0.4

Since iTunes 11.0.4 update (OS X 10.8.4), all the iPads no longer appear as devices in iTunes and thus won't synchronise.
iPod classic & nano still show up when connected and sync. fine.
The iPads no longer show up either via WiFi or USB connection: 2 x iPad 2, iPad 3, iPad mini.
Their backups have also vanished from Prefs -> Devices.
Don't see any logs appear when they connect via USB.
Tried connecting an iPad to a MacBook Pro running iTunes 11.0.3 and it showed up fine.

Fixed!
Downgrading to 11.0.3 didn't help, but it meant I could re-upgrade it again.
Downloaded the installer from Apple rather than via App Store and bang - all the iPads are now seen again.
All the iPad backups are now shown again too, including the gen. 2 iPod touch that I've not synced for ages (because all the apps I used to use on it no longer support its version of iOS).
Strange. Will download the full installer from now on.

My two devices (iPhone 5 and iPad Mini) no longer appear on the ITunes sidebar on my MBP. Please advise.

Until the recent updates to OS 10.9.5, iTunes 11.4 and the upgrade to iOS 8.0 for iPhone, iPad etc, iTunes 'knew' that my wife and I had 2x iPhones and 1x iPad set to sync with our MacBook Pro over Wi-Fi. Now, despite all devices still being set to sync over Wi-Fi, only one device is ever shown by iTunes as being found/available. The single device appears to be the one I last connected to the MBP using a cable. I appear to be able to make iTunes 'remember' any of our devices, but only one at a time. Clearly I'm not alone in experiencing this problem! Help please Apple.

Media was moved via external hard disk, and I think I moved the iTunes Media folder after consolidating it.

You've connected the iPad via cable to your computer, and your computer's iTunes is up-to-date ? If it's icon isn't showing then try one of these troubleshooting pages :
PC : iPhone, iPad, or iPod not recognized in iTunes for Windows - Apple Support
Mac : If you don't see your connected device in iTunes for Mac - Apple Support
If the iPad is disabled then you'll need to reset the iPad back to factory defaults, after which you can restore to your backup

I need some advise, recently upgraded my itunes to iTunes 10 and at the same time I added new photos to my laptop( running on windows vista) pictures file.
I wanted to sync the photos from my laptop to my ipad, but in the end, on my itunes, it appear all photos are synced but on my ipad there are no photos at all.
Tried reinstalling iTunes, deleted the ipod photo cache and reset my ipad... and it still doesn't work!!
Any one can help??

What happens when you try to sync?
Do the songs play in iTunes?
Do you have the right boxes checked to sync?

IPad Mini Retina not syncing with iTunes

My iPad Mini Retina has not been syncing with iTunes for some time.
I have reset it - by holding down the home and power key. I am using the new Macbook Air 2014 - because it has crashed on a few occasions it has also been restarted recently.
I am running IOS 7.1.2 on the Mini and 11.3 on the Mac Air. It has stopped at various parts but the last few times has been stopping at Step 4 of the sync. A few people seem to have had this issue but I have not found a resolution yet.

Can no longer WiFi Sync. iTunes won't connect to devices.

Since downloading iOS 7 and iTunes 11.1.1 I can no longer WiFi Sync my iPhone5, iPad, or iPod. Error message states, "iTunes could not connect to this device. Could not allocate a resource." What does this mean? Never had a problem before.

I have the same problem On the phone with Apple support over the course of a few days without a solution.

Fixed! I disconneced streaming then re-connected the iTunes and now it works.

I can't get my iPhone 4s or my iPad 2 to sync with itunes on my pc. My very ancient ipod nano works fine. I get told that the version of itunes is too old. I do get a warning that itunes is not properly installed and that i won't be able to burn cds. I have tried uninstalling itunes completely and reinstalling but that doesn't work either.

Have you run windows update? That could prevent iTunes from properly installing. Also, try with your antiVirus and firewall disabled. What version of Windows are you running?
OS X is the operating system on the Mac.

Question about ICloud. Do I have to back-up my iPad and iPhone4 to iCloud b4 sync with iTunes? Last time I synced iphone4 with iTunes, I updated to 5.0.1 when I connected, but it wiped my calendar entries. I had to reset to the last date I had synced (4months ago). So my question is... Now that I have iCloud, should I back up both my iPhone and my iPad before I sync with iTunes? And will all the data from iPad, iPhone, and computer all merge when the iPad and iPhone are synced?

IPad no longer appearing on any computer

My iPad(1) has stopped showing up on my computer. Absolutely nothing happens when I connect it. Nothing in iTunes, windows explorer, or disk management, or in the device manager, nada.
I have a Windows7 PC but when I conenct it to my wife's macbook, nothing happens there either. And my ipod is recognized fine on this computer. So the problem really seems to be with the iPad.
I would do a factory reset if I could but I have to connect to computer to do that! I tried the Reset All Settings but that didn't fix it.
I think it might have happened after a recent iTunes update, and then a sync didn't work right, can't quite remember as it was before a recent holiday.
Any ideas?

Ok not sure if this will help you. Seems with apple we are on our own. i have a windows based pc with XP opeating system. Since I did the update not only would my Ipad not show but my computer was slower then molasses on a winter morning. i actually went to add remove programs and was going to delete Itunes so I could download a previous version. Ah behold, next to the remove program button was a repair program. I did that and left for work as I didnt have time to do anything else. I got home the computer is now working. I tunes loads up easily and my Ipad synced. So maybe that will help you. It at least worked fro me. I dont sync my I pad often unless an app on it is having issues. So it was due for a sync and so my nightmare began. So if you dont get any answers from apple you can try that. I also read about being able to revert Itunes to a previous version with in the Itunes library. I am not sure how that works but I was gonna figure out how to work that out if my above mentioned trial failed.

Hi everyone, as you know ios7 just came out and i upgraded my ipad. Well after i upgraded it to ios 7 my ipad is not syncing with itunes. It shows me a message that the computer is not authorized. I tried to authorize it and it shows me that its already authourized. I tried de authorizing it and re authorizing it but it still did not work. Please help me, i cannot sync my ipad! my itunes is the latest version.
