hi, i bout new 3G iPhone, but the screen is not white shiny like the old iPhone
it looks little peal with more yellow effect although i made the brightness to max, is that designed that way or i should turn it back ?

It was done by design..some like it, some don't. And not all models of the 3G have it it seems.

My iphone 4 screen looks negative, when i take a screenshot its normal. I have had the screen replaced because i shattered my screen last year. I have also had the motherboard replaced in the phone a few weeks back. It is not doing this because of white on black or inverted colors. i think it might be a hardware problem. You would have to send your iphone to someone you know in Canada, then that person would have to get the iphone to Apple.
Apple will not accept a shipment from outside the country.

Satellite L850-150 LCD screen swap to another with more resolution?

I'm owner of a Toshiba L850-150, with a screen resolution of 1,366 x 768 and i want to know if is possible to swap the Lcd screen to another with more resolution, lets say one panel capable of display full HD 1920*1080 resolution.
I think the graphics card has enough power to handle it. (No gaming intended)

I choosed the L850-150 because of the high processor power and dedicated midrange gpu to use mainly with Deejay / Veejay apps.
While you are playing live in a gig you cant really tell the difference between HD and FullHD in a 15" screen, but at home is more noticeable.
My point is to swap the lcd panel with another Toshiba compatible with more resolution when warranty ends, and to sell mine in ebay.
I usually connect a projector to the vga port, so i cant take the external monitor option easily.
It seems that no laptop in the L850 and P850 Series uses a Full HD panel, that would make things easier.
So to be more specific my question would be if is it possible to swap lcd panels with a more resolution one from a 15,6" Toshiba of another series (mine is 1,366 x 768)

Iphone 5 screen turned dark grey with random lines, Help!

So I was playing a game on my Iphone 5 when all of the sudden I get to the boss. Then the Phone's screen starts turning dark grey with lines streacking across it in clusters and the lines moving randomly. Then after a few moments the phone was complety dark grey. If i pressed the lock button it would turn off and again turn on to the same screen. I could somtimes barley make out the power bar on the top. Lastly I tried restarting it by holding the lock button and the home button and then it just turned off and wont turn on.
Here is what I know that could connect with the issue:
- Recently my phone has constantly given me a error message about a uncertified thing being connected into it when nothing was connected to it! And trust me I havent been jail breacking or putting knock off stuff in it or anything like that.
- The Only thing That I have been charing with is a USB plug that I conenct into my computer to charge and it is slighty broken but manages to work.
- Lastly which is proably a main factor of the issue, water may have gone inside the phone.
Does anyone have advice on what causes the damage and if not what fees am I looking at?

The Nickys tip is not bad but I think you cannot be 100% sure about the fault if the notebook was not checked. Therefore the ASP should check the display and the FL inverter functionality and then you will get the proper answer about the fault.
But as mentioned it seems the graphic and the board are ok therefore it must be something like the FL inverter.
It would be very interesting to know what was wrong. Please post again if you have more news. Good luck

IPhone 3G screen response slowing down with OS updates

My iPhone is getting slower with every new update of the OS. Sliding bar, received SMS list...generally every screen presentation now takes 1 or more seconds to display. This has only slowed down after the last couple of OS updates. Not happy...it used to have an instant response. Is the new programming for the new iPhone 4 included slowing down the OS for iPhone 3G?

iOs4x definitely does slow down a 3G. The 3G just doesn't have a powerful enough processor.
One trick that seems to make a big difference is to switch off Spotleight indexing. Go to Settings, General, Spotlight Search amd deselect all items.

IPhone 4S screen looks motion blurred?

So about two or so weeks ago, my iPhone (4S) started to look almost like a light motion blur effect was used on the screen. I haven't gotten it wet or anything like that, so I'm not sure why it started doing this. I've tried to find a fix for this, but I haven't found any posts/other online resources where the problem is the type of blurring that I seem to be having. I've got a few photos of what it looks like:

I've already toggled with the brightness and restarted the phone (both regularly and with a hard reset), but neither helped. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Iphone confused - thinks it is associated with more than one apple ID.

iTunes (v11.3) running on OS X.9.4 repeatedly crashes when I try to sync my wife's iPhone 5s (v7.1.2). Sometimes instead of crashing it gives the error message that my computer is no longer associated with my apple ID and to reauthorize it. I reauthorize it and then get the same message again, but it is definitely authorized.
The problem may be with my wife's iPhone? When she first bought it, she synced it to her father's computer / apple ID. We have not been able to sync it to our computer since. In settings > iTunes & app store her phone lists our apple ID, but when you try to update an app in app store it asks to enter the password for her father's apple ID. Have logged out / back in multiple times and still get same result.
I believe the two problems are connected. How to fix it? I would like to be able to sync/backup her phone to our computer.

Usually that means you have content, such as apps or media, on the mobile device that was acquired from Apple under a different Apple ID than the one you're using with iTunes. The only way out is to remove that content, or else to sign in to the iTunes Store with the other ID.

Iphone 5s Screen: what's wrong with my screen?

Got my 5s about 3 weeks ago and have been happy with it but it started acting up tonight.
Anyone have any idea what might be wrong?
It started out of nowhere, and was not dropped or wet... it starts with a line on the bottom of the screen at start up and turns to faded red vertical lines (on the bottom quarter of the screen only):

I am in the US at the moment but upon return should I take it back to a Bell store (my carrier that I got it from) or to an Apple store?

If you bought it about 3 weeks ago, take it to an Apple Store. It should be under warranty first. Ask a "Genius". Good luck!

Thin vertical lines on Iphone 4 screen.

I have thin vertical lines going down my iphone 4 screen. It started with one line on the far left side of the screen but two more have appeared within the past month. what is wrong with my iphone and can it be fixed?
I have placed an orange outline around the thin lines i speak of.

The Icon meas your display orientation is locked to vertical so it wont change when you turn the phone sideways.
First thing you should check with the battery life is multitasking, which also happens to be where the orientation lock can be turned off. check out http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4211 and go from there
