Iphone 4s doesn't charge after upgrade to ios7

My iphone 4s stopped charing after upgrade to ios7. I thought this was caused by dirty charging port ,, but it isn't.
I connect to my wall charger and it starts charging, but after a couple minutes it stops. The same issue when connected to my work PC. It only charges when connected to my mac !
I tried several home chargers and the problem remains the same.
I have this issue on both our household iphone 4s's ,!
Help this is terrible and my battery survives half a day now !

Same issue...ios7 upgrade...battery wouldn't hold charge...now it is dead...phone will not turn on or reset...
When plugged into a Mac for 2 hours, with the original USB cord, screen is blank...when pressing the sleep button, I get a picture of a battery with a tiny sliver of red...but not able to turn on.

I went to Settings > iCloud > Documents and Data, then turned off documents and data, and now it is back to normal. Apparently you cannot take advantage of both on the iphone 4 and 4s.

i did every tricks might help like disabling Background Apps and turning of Documents and Data syncing in iCloud also Increase Contrast and restoring it to factory default....
it's still very slow in any action needed also there is a lot of bugs when using it like canceling the call but it's not apprearing in the lock screen or it appears but when sliding it it's opening another notification... touch is very laggy ..

I have the same problem...sometimes it even freezes...I have to close some of the applications from background to resolve the freezing and improve speed....but it never regains the speed it had before the update.
I am also interested in going to the older version if I could.

IPod in iPhone 3Gmusic doesn't work after upgrade to iOS4

My iPhone is very unstable after upgrade to iOS4 and one major failure is that iPod music doesn't work properly, some song (recently purchased from iTunes) cannot be played even if it is in the list. There are a lot of new space in memory after upgrade, seems songs are removed or compressed in some stupid way.
Spotify is also working like **** after upgrade to iOS4. Also big problems with the phone being slow and hanging in many different kind of modes.
From being a real iPhone fan, I am very disappointed. Maybe Apple think they are immortal now and think they can release any kind of crap and still keep their customers...

Iphone 4 doesn't charge after water splashed on it

my Iphone 4 fell in water. after that I faced some problems with both hardware and software that was solved after two hours but when the charge was over I couldn't charge it again...connecting the port to computer or plugged in nothing happens and it is not charging

The problem could be anything. The easiest thing to do is open it up and replace the battery. They are like 12 bucks online and really easy to replace your self. If its anything else like the charging port, it is possible, but takes a while to replace. Other than that, take it to an iphone repair place.

After upgrading my iphone 4 to ios7, I cannot sync with itunes. It either goes through 4 steps and then "canceling sync" or it hangs up on "waiting for files to transfer" and never gets past that. I tried some suggestions in other support articles. I synced with itunes in safe mode. I reset the phone and did a restore. Nothing seems to help. I upgraded to 7.0.2 but no changes. Please Help!

No offence, but as with quite a few others, my Iphone stopped charging on mains after iOS 7.0.4 update too.
Not sure you can categorically advise that "it simply is not a software issue" when so many different people are having the same symptoms after updating their iOS Just have a quick Google!
Luckily my (original Apple) cable will still allow recharging via USB to a laptop. So, process of elimination would point to a bricked charger that was working faultlessly up until the iOS 7.0.4 update was applied. Seems quite a stretch to be a coincidence.
Look forward to an explanation ..... and an update? ......

Hi, upgraded to ios7 yesterday, went to charge my phone with cable and plug that came with the phone, and the phone isn't registering the charger at all. Now completely dead and can't charge it on pc, communicate with itunes to restore it or anything! Anyone having the same problem, or got some advice??

Yes! I am having the same issue as well. I called up Apple support and they said i must try another charger. Hopefully it works!!! So i would recommend the same, get another charger.

IPhone 4S took a dumb after upgrading to IOS7/ WIFI is greyed out

I loved the fact that I own Apple IPhone4S . For the past 1 1/2 year I had no problem with this phone
I went to restore thinking that I will restore my phone to original to try to sell it and get the new IPone 5 .
Well the restore took me from IOS6.13 to have the IOS7 which then I tried to see that all my info was deleted which it was but then I found the Wifi and Bluetooth is not working.
I tried the reset the network and it didn't work, then I start doing my search to find out it's issue with heating my wifi with the new update which some one said to put it in freezer for 15 minutes which I did that and sure enough it worked for few minutes untill the phone got heated again.
I even tried to restore it from Itune thinking some how the software is corrupted and that didn't help.
Like I said before I love my Iphone and I'm hoping soon that Apple support will come up with solution soon and to tell us that 1 yes one HERO came up with solution and you need to upgrade your software that will solve this problem.

I accidental update my iPhone 4S to IOS 7 and now it won't hold a charge for a day? Why is that. I had no problems before the update ...

I am having the same problem with my 4S since the last update. It was shutting off at 38% now today it shut off at 50%. It's driving me nutz and is not very reliable. Some one please suggest something to do. I was wondering if I should eliminate some apps that just updated one by one to see if that helped or just go through that nasty reset. I don't really want to do that but if I have to I will.

IPhone 6 take longer time to charge after upgrading to ios 8.2

Did someone have the same problem with me? After updating to ios 8.2, time taken to fully charge the battery seem longer than usual. Usually, it take roughly about an hour to charge from 10% to 100% but now it take nearly 3 hour. I have try to pull out the charging cable when the battery reach 96% and then plug in back after a few second. The battery percentage shows 100% after i plug in the charger. Is there something wrong with the system or the battery?

Battery does not charge
1. Verify that the outlet being used is working.
2. Try another USB power adapter if available.
3. If no other USB power adapter is available, try connecting to a high-power USB 2.0 port (not a keyboard). The computer must be turned on and not in sleep or standby mode.
4. Try another USB cable if available.

After upgrading to iOS7, my iPhone 5 won't accept my charger cables. I have 2 cables, tried around ten wall sockets, tried using my laptop, PC...nothing works.
The only way to charge it is to turn off the phone and leave it like that.
The main problem for me after not charging is that I cannot connect it to iTunes in order to downgrade.
I am seriously getting sick and tired of these things about Apple products....and they cost a s#&% load of money...
I've been using 3Gs and 4G, benn satisfied, but that's all, not close to excellent....
Oh...and about the charger cords..the one that came with the phone is trash...I used it a few times and after that I had to throw it in the garbage. I saw that you can buy a new one slightly cheaper due to a program of Apple, but the main problem is that ROMANIA does not show in countries....although there are many many users of Apple products over here....
I'll wait a few days if I can solve the problem...either downgrading or something else.....if not...to the flea market with it...

Thanks - got stuck with the upgrade to 10.6.8, but Apple Support was able to navigate me through that, the date settings caused a problem here.
