IPhone 4s going Haywire while using Car Chargers..

My iPhones 4s is going crazy while Charging in the car(via usb or AC). The touchscreen is unreponsive and it goes haywire when it responds.
Apple Store replaced my phone but the new one is also doing the same. I had my wife try hers and it also gets wacked out..
I have been a long time apple fan but i have been very dissapointed with all the problems my 1st iPhone has been giving us.
Anyone else having this problem?

Have you or anyone found a solution to the iphone 4S repeated burn out of car chargers? I have Audi A6 2010, with three outlets. Also have 3 different iphone approved chargers (Belkin, Griffin and Amazon) that all will not work (light doesn't go on to show there is a connection) and my iphones show no charge. At the beginning iphone said it did not support this charger, but after adjusting the tightness of the connection, it started charging. However, short term only, now doesn't work All chargers have burned out. Is there a specific brand for iPhone 4S that will not burnout and continue to work?

What buttons did you try? IF you haven't already, try a reset, no data loss.
Hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the Apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.

The Basic Troubleshooting Steps are:
Restart... Reset... Restore from Backup... Restore as New...

IPhone 3GS : Random Interruptions while using iPod & NikePlus App

I JUST SPOKE TO APPLE CARE AND THEY CLAIM NOONE ELSE HAS COMPLAINED ABOUT THIS.
They told me that if more people complain, then and only then, will they have their engineers look into it.
I've been having the same problem also. It first happened with the NikePlus App....it would pause workout and resume workout randomly.
Yesterday I went for a bike ride and while using the iPod on my iPhone 3GS the Voice Control would interrupt the music at random.
I think it started after the recent (June2010) iPhone software update.
Totally Annoying!!!
Applecare recommended that I open iTunes with my phone attached and proceed to 'Restore phone to New'. They asked me not to add any apps to the phone until after testing the iPod again during another workout to see if the problem is resolved. Then, I'm to add the NikePlus app and try it again. This way, they can try to pinpoint if it's an App Calibration problem. I'm to contact them to with the results. (I'll post it here also)

its not your phone bud im having the same problem to keeps crashing and i know its not that the phone is old unless you call 2days old as got it from apple store buch st glasgow on the 14th dec 2011 its an ios issue im sure as my last 1 updated to ios 5 and it wouldnt read sims no longer after speaking to apple they agreed to replace my handset as they are aware that the ios is frying some 3gs model mines was left a brick ie paper weight so if mines is crashing ect i cant even use the camera as it sticks then switches off apple need to sort this ios 5 out

You should be able to set up numerous IMAP accounts on your iPhone with no problems.
IMAP will not sync contacts and calendars in your local copy of Outlook.

Iphone 4 going haywire...

so i woke up this morning and my phone was working fine, 100% battery, checking facebook and whatnot. I was walking to clock in at work and my internet wouldn't work. i'd open safari, type anywhere from 1 - 3 letters, safari would freeze and then close itself. didn't use my phone for about 4 1/2 hours of when i was cashing out and getting ready to go home, my phone was somehow at 8% battery life and 2 minutes later, depleted down to 0% and completely died. i charged my phone in the car and then tried restarting the phone and STILL nothing going with safari...what is going on with my phone?

Charge and listen simultaneously while using car adapter?

hey everyone, so i realize that the itrip for nano is out, but yesterday while i was at target i found a little wee device called a "VR3 modulator" which was only $20. a steal compared to $60-70! ... it sez its fer all mp3 players and can be compatible with ipods! it has a usb port and an audio port. if i plug it into the audio port, itll play the music. if i plug it into the usb port, it'll charge. my question is: "is there any way to do both *at the same time*??" i know i can do both if i connectmy ipod to my mac (all i do is trash it and itll charge and play)... but when i connect to the usb port i get the "do not disconnect" image on the screen. theres no "trash" to send it to, so am i just forced to do either one or the other? ... am i gonna have to give in and go buy the griffin itrip or that one that (i thinks) is a belkin?

Strange sort of car adapter. I use a Monster iCarPlay. It plugs into a power port in the car (what used to be called a cigarette lighter) and connects to the nano's dock. It contains an FM transmitter that allows me to pick up my nano's music on the car stereo. Yes, it's more expensive. But it lets me charge the nano while I'm listening to my music.
Sometimes you get what you pay for.

I recommend trying all of these steps if your iPhone is restarting unexpectedly:

Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIs and corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.

Screen goes blank while using phone

If this happens with your 3G, I bet it's because it's in a case you purchased for the old model. Take it out of the case and see if it works.

Do you use a case or sleeve on your iPhone? If the case blocks the proximity sensor(s), the phone may still think you are holding it next to your face and black out the display so you don't disconnect or do something else unintended "by cheek."
I had this problem too and fixed it by modifying the el cheapo holster case with a razor blade - works fine now. Depending on which iPhone model you have, there will be one or two proximity sensors to the left or right of the earpiece speaker at the top of the phone. Make sure this area is clear, and you should be fine. This also fixes any problems people are having with random screen bright/dark changes since the light sensor is located in the same area.

"4G" is a marketing term, not a technical term.
The iPhone 5 can operate on any compatible HSPA+ network anywhere in the world. HSPA+ is defined by the ITU as "4G" and is marketed as such by many carriers. The only iPhones I'm aware of that display "4G" in the status bar are those originally intended for AT&T in the U.S.
LTE is also defined as "4G" and is marketed as such by pretty much every carrier that has an LTE network. When connected to an LTE network, "LTE" should appear in the status bar.
The frequencies used for LTE networks vary from region to region across the globe. In order to use an available LTE network, the phone you're using must have been sold to work in your region.
Apple doesn't have to "enable" anything for it to work. All you need is a phone that's compatible with your network, and a plan that allows for LTE data.
If you purchased the phone from another region, the U.S. for example, it will NOT work on the LTE netwok in your part of the world.

IPhone 6 going haywire

My wife's iPhone 6 is acting crazy. All day yesterday it stayed at 66% charge but worked fine. Then last night it went to 1% charge and now is acting very weird. It won't open anything and thebonly thing available on the home screen is to swipe for emergency. When I try to do that it takes me to the screen to enter 4-digit passcode. upon trying to enter the passcode the screen goes blank. We've tried to shut off phone and restart but nothing. Also tried to charge overnight but still at 1% and acting the same way. No access to apps, phone, etc. please let me know if you can offer some help.

Basics from the manual are restart ( which you tried), reset, and restore.
Try those first.

IPhone audio too soft when using car audio jack...

iPod touch audio is soft when I hook it up to my car audio jack. I have to turn up the car volume almost to max! I have checked the volume level settings on the iPod...no change?
