IPhone 5 "Phone Number N/A" and device says Phone Number "Unknown"
So I just bought an iPhone 5 on Verizon off a guy on craigslist. Activated my phone,Clean ESN verfied by Verizon. I got home,put my Micro sim that I cut from my Android 4G phone,so it could fit. I can make calls and recieve texts, but I cannot send text messages through SMS. Only through iMessage. I turned my phone off and on but still nothing. The info on the phone Settings>Phone>My Number it says "Unknown". On iTunes, it shows "Phone Number N/A". Messages say "not delivered" Can anyone help??
I also see "Phone Number: n/a" in iTunes. As far as I can tell, my phone number listing on the phone itself is normal, showing up properly at the top of Contacts.
This might have shown up after I installed the Verizon 13.1 carrier update. But maybe I just missed it previously.
I don't have any of the history of the original poster. I bought my iPhone direct from Verizon.

every time I try to sync my phone and restore my content after I updated my iPhone, iTunes goes through the prompts and then says "cancelling sync" at step 5. I cannot restore my apps or music!

cd drive on my laptop not seen as a device. Can refresh itunes and device appears but get unknown sync error 13019 when transferring cd's to my nano. The cd's appear on the nano when it's connected to itunes but aren't there when I disconnect?

From your statements above, it sounds like you never tried to burn a CD for at least the first year that you owned the laptop, as it had a one year warranty on it. While you might have used it frequently to install software, play DVDs, Blu-Ray disks, etc, that's unclear from your statements. Nonetheless, it might just be dirty-dusty. So, before deleting-uninstalling any software, and given they're cheap, try a CD-DVD Cleaner Disk first and see if that resolves your problems.

I am trying to sync my iphone 4s with my new macbook pro and it says that i need to erase the content because i am connected to another itunes store, which i am but i dont know if i want to erase my content.... any sugustions???

So, copy everything from the Dell to the Mac.
Your iphone will be erased and the content replaced with the content from the new computer. You need to amke sure that everything is on the new computer.

Ever since i updated to 5.1.1 my phone just says "searching". I live in a highly populated area with many at&t towers, and this has made me pretty much despise apple, concidering that i've been without a phone for the past week. What do I do to fix it? If it is a software issue.

just bought a new imac and i just updated my iphone 5 to ios7. i am trying to use the bluetooth but the imac says connected and the iphone says the imac is not supported.

IPhone 5 battery is half full and it says it's dead and turns off
I was getting dressed and I had my phone on my bed. I went to look at it and it said it was dead. I looked at my phone before I was getting dressed and noticed it was half full. Now when I take my phone off of charge, it gets into the loading screen and comes up that my phone is dead. My carrier is T-Mobile and I just received my phone on May 19, 2013

I have an iPhone app I started to download and it says it's "Waiting".
I have tried to delete it but it doesn't give an option for an "x". I just want to get rid of it now. Any suggestions?
After deleting from itunes did you reboot the h/set. try that or else .......
Settings --> General --> Usage --> Select the App that has issue --> Delete App
Navigate back to the App in question and delete it by long key press
then try to re install -

Take a look at apps using your location service in privacy, it can cause battery draining. -

Might be a dirty dock connector on your phone. Try gently brushing it with a clean, dry toothbrush and/or blowing on it with a can of compressed air.

I locked my iphone 4s, I forgot the passcode and it says disabled connect to itunes. I have some very important information on the phone I can't lose, How can I retrieve that information if the phone was not backed up to icloud of my mac? I will go to court over this to prove it is my phone. I just can't lose this information. Please, Please, Please, help me. I will mail the phone in to apple store if that will help.

You can't. If your phone is disabled, the data has already been erased...that's the whole point of the passcode. Your only option now is:
Turn your phone off, then force it into recovery mode & restore it:
Leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, iTunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. You may now release the home button. iTunes should now display that it has detected your phone in recovery mode, if not quit and reopen iTunes. If you still don’t see the recovery message repeat these steps again. iTunes will give you the option to restore from a backup or set up as new. -

I need to add my music to my iPhone from iTunes but its not working!First off try and go into your IPhone manually through My Computer and cut photos or anything you can through the device to be able to free space up so that you can continue to do what you want to do with ITunes. This way you will be able to create a backup or do what you have to do to manage your information, photos and texts on your device a little better.
