First turn off all caps it's considered rude and as if your shouting.
try a reset, no data loss. hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait until your phone boots back up.
then check voice memo again.

IPhone 6 Voice Memos App Not Working

I love my new iPhone 6 (with current iOS 8) but one of the standard apps I always use is Voice Memos. The Voice Memo app launches but does not allow me to record anything. When I press the red record button, it simply moves back and forth like I've entered a bad password. To resolve, I've stopped and restarted the application multiple times, restarted my iPhone, etc but nothing seems to work. Any ideas or suggestions on how to resolve? Thanks.

It seems silly to me that Apple did not make it so your current apps would work with the new software. Voice memo app not working

On the iphone 5 when I click on the voice memos app it open and closes straight away. When I have had this issues with other apps I can delete and reinstall them, however this is not possible to do with the voice memo app, does anyone have any ideas how to resolve this as I have installed a paid for voice memo app which is not as good. I had another breakthrough a couple of days ago.
In iTunes I changed my radio button selection from "Entire Music Library" to "Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres" and instead chose to sync only a handful of artists and albums. Since I did this I have had no problem using my voice memo app.
I don't know if there was some sort of conflict in the way old saved notes were syncing back onto it or if there is a problem with the voice app in which it malfulctions and crashes when there is low free space on the iPhone. I went from my usual 1 GB or less of free space to around 9 GB of free space.
Anyways, just thought I'd share what I found.

I upgraded my 32Gig 3GS to IOS4 on Monday and now my Voice Memos app isn't working. I can playback existing recordings but am unable to record new ones. Anyone have a similar experience?

Voice memos app not saving properly

I am using an iphone5 running iOS7.1.1 and performing the following actions will cause Voice Memos app not saving recordings. I have sent a feedback to Apple but is wondering if anyone else is found having similar problems.
1) Run Voice memos app and start recording
2) At lock screen open camera app and take a picture
3) At same lock screen delete the picture taken
4) Lock screen will show RECORDING in progress
5) Open Voice memos app and it will also show RECORDING in progress
6) Save voice memo from app and the duration FROM the point of picture deleted WILL NOT be saved

same here ... iPhone 3gs/32 gigs ram/ios 4.3.1 ...
the app doesn't seem to work any more, and hasn't for some time:
"buttons" are unresponsive, or they appear to respond, but don't perform their function ... erratic behavior ...
very disappointing as this has gone on for some time ...

Voice Memo does not work on 3g

The voice memo does not work. If I scream in to the mic it finally shows movement on the readout. But, when you play it back all you get is static noise where I screamed. Other wise, any normal voice speck is totally silent.
Actually it works with the iPhone head phones but not the mic in the phone it's self.

Yes, the low level while recording doesn't result in a low or weak "memo". Sounds fine and mails to my email as well . . . But !
I had a phone-message waiting two months, a little song-fragment I called home to leave with the hope that Voice-Memo would eventually save it for me. And it sounded better once mailed that it even did playing out of my cheap little land-line speaker ( I guess mic-placement is everything ! )
But the recording was 2 min 50 seconds and trying to mail it to myself brought up the warning that it was "too big" !! Luckily, the first 27 seconds was unrelated and expendable . . . and being able to trim it did the trick.
*So what's the size limit on a mailable Memo Apple people ?*
( It was 4.1 mb as attached to the mail )
Also, how odd is it that it was still "Sending" within the iPhone, yet already sitting in my iMac's email well before the "airplane whoosh" of sent mail sounded.

Voice memos do not sync into itunes but ARE on iphone. How do I get them to sync into itunes?

I cannot get voice memos to upload ( sync ) into my itunes library on my Toshiba PC. Many do.....but many won't upload so I can burn into cd's.

Voice Memos is not working properly

This App's been behaving strange...
That "bar" where we supposed to drag foward and rewind in the recorded memo isnt working anymore. So when I want to rewind I cant, I need to stop, and start all over again from the beginning.
And now, It just doesnt record anything!
It shows that it is recording but when I stop to listen, nothing hasnt recorded.
I restarted the phone but it didnt change anything
Does anyone experienced this same problems?

Voice dictation app not working

I downloaded the voice dictation app in my IPad 2 last week. It was working fine for a few days but yesterday when I tried to use it I got a message saying that 'I was not authroized to use this app anymore, and that I should contact my service provider'
When I went to the app store to look for that app, that particular app was no longer in the app store. Instead there was a different voice dictation app which looked similar to the old app but was named differently.
Since the old voice dictation app didn't work anymore I decided to download the new one and get rid of the old one.......so far so good
I don't care about wasting 99 cents on this app, but I was wondering if anyone knew why the old voice dication app that i downloaded first stoped working so quickly and vanished from the app store?
Not complaining, just curious.

That was the best voice dictation app, I used it daily for work. It was more accurate than Dragon, I spend way too much time correcting Dragon. Not so worried abou the ¢99, but I am complaing. Where dod the app go?

IPhone 3GS with iOS4 - voice control does not work any more

Hi - I updated the OS of my iPhone 3GS to iOS4 and everything went well. But ever since I did the update the voice control comes back with strange results when I try to use it. It was working well enough with OS3. Has anybody the same problems and is there a solution?

I'm experiencing basically the same as teardrop3d. I'm Australian (with voice settings on English (Australian)) and my 3Gs had at least 90% accuracy with both calls and music requests.
On iOS4 I've had a single correct result out of at least 30 attempts at using it.
Requesting "play playlist <name>" will often either start calling a seemingly random person from my phone book (different each time anyway) or sometimes a seemingly random number (I don't know where the number comes from, it's not in my phone book). Sometimes it'll actually offer to play music, usually a specific artist (not a playlist) and occasionally a playlist (but so far never the right one).
Requesting "call <name> <number type>" has worked once correctly, but usually just tries to call a seemingly random number from my phone book (or a number I don't know, not in my phonebook...).
As teardrop3d notes, the voice control screen stays up for about 2-4 seconds after I finish talking. It doesn't seem to be recording during this time, as the waveform stops responding to my voice but the screen sits there (with words moving past in the background still) as if its waiting for me to keep talking.
I've tried talking in different accents to no avail, and didn't get any better results with a different English language setting on the Voice Control (I'm not sure if that's actually listening for different accents or just responding in a different accent?)
This feature which I used to use multiple times a day to avoid having to take my phone out of my pocket while walking/riding is now useless. I continue to test it each day to see if it ever works, or if there are any behaviours that change it (e.g. locked vs unlocked or with music playing/not playing when I press/hold the mic-button, etc) but so far haven't found any workarounds.

Facebook App not working over 3G, but works over Wi-Fi.

I have a BlackBerry® Curve™ 3G 9330 Social Messaging Ready smartphone. My current software version is 6.0 Bundle 2333. My Facebook application worked perfectly fine when I got the phone a few months ago over the Verizon 3G network and Wi-Fi, but when I recently updated Facebook to version 2.0.0.58, it does not work over 3G anymore. But everytime I try to connect via 3G it says "We cannot reach the Facebook server at this time. Please try again later. (100)" It does however still work over Wi-Fi.
I have tried various attempts to fix it: uninstalling the App and re-installing it and also removing the battery and putting it back in (hard reset), but nothing has worked.
Is anyone else have this same issue? Is there a way to restore my Blackberry to its factory settings so that I can just use the older version of the Facebook App [that was previously installed]?

After updating my iphone 5 to ios 7 camera app not working properly

i update to ios7 on my iphone. sometime blue lining occur in the camera app and while taking pics. this is original picture taken from iphone 5.

It sounds like your rear facing camera is not functioning correctly. I would start by quitting all the open apps on the phone with the following article:
iOS: Force an app to close

Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that and restart the phone and test the issue again:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting

If the issue persists, and you have a protective case, remove the phone from the case and retest the issue.

Flex/AMFPHP App NOT working in IE but works in FireFox...

Hello I am beginning to develop Flex applications. I am
working with PHP in a Symfony environment.
The error below was appearing before in FireFox but
disappeared after I uninstalled the Flash Player plugin and
reinstalled the Flash debug player for FireFox. I also uninstalled
the IE Flash Player and replaced it with the Flash debug player for
IE (i believe it comes with Active X). I have the exact same

Again this error was appearing in FF before but now ONLY on
IE. The same error arrises if I try to open the SWF file localed in
the bin/ directory in the Flex project. My flex project is located
on my Desktop and the server I am trying to connect to is on a
Linux box. AGAIN, this project displays the data perfectly on FF
but NOT on IE. It just displays several rows from a DB table in a
datagrid in Flex.

There are a few factors that could be throwing this thing
through a loop. I've had this exact same thing happen to me once
before and the culprit for me was that my crossdomain.xml file
wasn't 100% perfectly formed. Apparently Firefox didn't care enough
and went on with it's life however IE decided it wasn't going to
read it and I received that error, so that would be the first thing
I would check.
The next thing is what version of PHP are you running on the
server, it seems to me that the newest release of 5.2.2 is throwing
this error more often then ever before, something I might suggest
is upgrading to AMFPHP 1.9. RemoteObjects natively send data in
what's called the AMF3 format which is much speedier then it's
predecessor of AMF0. Only AMFPHP 1.9 has the ability to receive /
send the data back in AMF3 format, where as with the 1.2 version
it's sending the call, converts it down to AMF0 sends the data (at
a slower pace) and generates a result. The other advantage to being
able to use AMF3 is having true type casted results such as if PHP
returns a number you can check it by if(event.result == 0) where as
AMF0 everything is converted into a string and then sent back to
Flash / Flex. So aside from all of these advantages the last one is
less code, you no longer need to use the RemotingConnection to
convert everything down to AMF0. I would make a copy of amfphp on
your linux of the 1.9 version and send the remote object at that
first and see what happens, if you are still receiving the same
error then the problem lies in something else.

Questions about using the Voice Memos app

I'm currently an Android user, but will be getting an iPhone 6 soon. My most used app is the voice memos app on my Android phone. I have a couple questions about the iPhone's built-in voice memos app.
-Am I able to transfer my voice memos from my Android phone to my iPhone, so my recordings from my Android app will show up in the iPhone's voice memos app?
-When exporting voice memos from the iPhone to computer, are recordings in MP3 format? If not, what format are they in?
-In your opinion, how is the recording quality of the voice memos app?

You cannot import your Android voice memos to your iPhone's voice memo app. You might be able to play the Android memos and have the iPhone pick up the audio and record it.
