I bought iPhone 6 plus few days ago in Dubai - UAE. I couldn't make facetime work. Actually I couldn't find it. Is there anyway to make it work?

What model is your iPhone? Settings=>General=>About=>Model? You may have to scroll
to see the entry for Model.

Thank you for the details of the FaceTime issue you are experiencing on the iPhone 4. I found an article with steps for an issue like this:
iPhone 4 or later: Audio issues with speakerphone, FaceTime, video recording,
or people hear noise when I call them
iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S
Make sure that nothing is blocking the top microphone (located next to the headset jack).
All models
If a protective case is used, try removing iPhone from the case.
Try turning iPhone off and then on again.

Anyone experiencing an intermittent "hissing" noise when using Facetime on iPhone 5?

Only the 4s / 5 can use FaceTime via 3G/4G/LTE, and even that depends on your carrier's policies and the data plan that you have chosen. (Just FYI)

Oh boy! Acting kind of weird seems to be an understatement, aquaequus!
What type of troubleshooting were we able to do with you? I want to make sure that we can get some sort of resolution for this problem.
It is quite possible the battery door may get your phone in working order again. I'm not sure if the store has it in stock, but it is available in our warehouse for $14.99 which can be ordered via customer service.

Hmm, I see from the Apple Support webpage it seems you cannot call them directly from Israel, that's not good.
Okay, so FaceTime stopped working once you upgraded to iOS 7 is that the situation? It doesn't work over either cellular or WiFi networks? I assume you have checked the Settings>FaceTime>FaceTime switch is on and that you have your correct Apple ID in there as well?
What happens when you launch the FaceTime app and attempt to make a FaceTime call, what message(s) do you get?

FaceTime problems - "account" reset required?

So I've had an iPhone 4 for a couple months now (launch day, woo!) and now my friends and family are finally getting them as well.
My mum FaceTimed me with her new iphone 4 the other day. This was at a time when she was waiting for her original mobile phone number to be transferred from her old phone to her new iphone 4. In the meantime, she had the phone number that came with the new phone - what I will call the "pre-swap" number.
So she FaceTimed me while she had the pre-swap number (aka the one the new phone came with).
Since then, she has had her original phone number transferred to her new iphone, and the problem is when she Facetimes me from her phone, it comes up on my phone with her pre-swap number: "+44XXXXXXXX wants to FaceTime" instead of "Mum wants to FaceTime" or whatever.
When I attempt to FaceTime her actual phone number, it says "facetime unavailable" - but if I facetime her pre-swap number (which is no longer in use) it connects just fine.
It's as if her FaceTime 'account' is registered with her old number, and not her new one.
Any ideas how to rectify this?

You will not lose any data when you perform either reset suggested above, but if you reset all settings, you will have to enter all of your iPad settings agai like WiFi passwords, select your wallpaper, enable Siri again set all of your privacy settings again, etc.
Before you try resetting all settings just force close Facetime and then do the first reset suggested above. Double tap the home button and find the Facetime app in the multitasking display, Swipe up on the Facetime preview and drag it off then to of the screen to close it completely. Tap the home button when you are done, next hold down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears on the screen. Let go of the buttons and let the iPad restart. Try Facetime again and see how it goes.

IPhone 4 facetime stopped working 3 weeks ago, followed all possible FAQ and ideas posted and recommended by Apple, still not luck.

I tried flushing the phone to its original settings and that didn't solve the problem either... so I decided to call the Apple support.... and I received this, somewhat incredible, response.
First they've told me that my hardware warranty expired 39 days ago, and that I lost the right to have free help from their hotline 90 days after buying the iPhone. Having said so the asked me to explain the problem, which I did, and then operator looked into the support database to find a possible solution.
Once she'd found what she tought would solve my problem, she offered two possible options:
Give back Apple the phone for repairing at the cost of 210 Euros - basically no repairing would be done, just replacing the phone by a new one: I said no to this for two reasons. First, I don't want to pay half the price of the phone for something that might be solved via a firmware update (the hardware works!) and second, because I also had a hardware problem with my old iPhone that was replaced and later on I found out that it had been re-sold by Apple to a third person WITHOUT FLUSHING MY PERSONAL DATA! Living proof of it is that this person managed to contact me on my personal email address to ask me on how to configure her email account!
Try to apply the steps she had just found in the support database but, and this part is just hilarious.... she wouldn't give me that info for free! I had to pay 35 Euro to have it as I had lost my free-on-the-phone help privileges....***!
I don't know why, but I expected a bit more from Apple... been a Mac user (two mac book pro's, 3 iphones, 1 ipod...) for a long time now and was about to buy a Mac Mini in the next days... I guess Samsung just found themselves a new customer.

I believe because you migrated from a Nokia to an iPhone you need to register the Bn phone number with your Apple ID so it can be used for iMessage. The Pn number seems to be the only one registered

I'm having a similar problem, but I do have the key and is not working anyway.
My old pc was running on windows 7 and my new one is an apple running on Lion.
My phone is an Iphone IV and I can see all the bookmarks there.
In order to sync, what I did was click on the "I don't have the device with me", I entered the key that was provided and the process finish ok. It says congratulations, etc, etc.
But the bookmarks are not there, I tried merging data and replacing data on this computer options but is the same.
Any suggestions?

IPhone 3G Reception Problems? You're Not Alone

I have the same problem with 3G coverage. I am suppose to be in a strong 3G coverage area at home. I only have 1 bar. Traveling around town (Sacramento area) my 3G coverage changes dramatically. From 1 bar to full bars? Not sure if its working properly or not??? Anyhow, this was posted on Engadget. After they exchanged their iPhone the problem went away? Could it be true? Is it the netork or our iPhones? Lets all hope nothing is wrong with our iPhones!!!!
iPhone 3G Reception Problems? You're Not Alone
One of the more disturbing things coming out of the iPhone 3G launch is reports of suspiciously poor 3G reception and speeds. Specifically, I've seen several people report one bar - specifically, one bar - of 3G reception in areas where other devices report strong reception. (More complaints at Engadget.)
This may be a problem with a batch of iPhones, or with something in AT&T's network, though I've also seen someone reporting the problem on O2 in the UK. The first review iPhone we got had this problem - it would mysteriously drop from four bars of 3G to one for no apparent reason, while our Motorola RAZR2 V9 reported better reception. Then it would shoot back up to four bars for no apparent reason a few minutes later. That unit would also occasionally throw up an "invalid SIM" error, requiring a reboot. That phone also had hideously slow 3G data speeds in the 50 kbps-150 kbps range, so the missing bars weren't just a display issue; there was something wrong with the way the phone was hitting the network.
We exchanged that iPhone for a different unit and no longer had the problem. We took the new iPhone and carried it around comparing it to a Motorola V9, and the two phones connected roughly the same number of calls on the 3G network. The new unit also had much higher data speeds in the same locations - still not great, in the 300-400 kbps range, but at least reflecting 3G.

my white iphone does the same thing. I will drop down to one bar on 3g but full strength when i turn 3g off. Some people have tried to say that it is because 3g had more difficulty going through walls. Mine will not switch between 3g and edge on it's own so i find that when at home i just have to turn off the 3g. I have also heard rumors of a bad batch of iphones. I tried to take it into the store today but they were so busy i just had to make an appointment for thursday, although i was able to replicate the problem in front of the apple geek, which was a little surprising becuase while in line outside the store i had full bars of 3g. It might just be an issue that occurs when indoors? I also have a problem with lag. I'm hoping to get it resolved thurdays, whether they give me a new phone or just tell me to eff off and deal with it. probably the latter.

I tried plug and unplug many time, still can't detect/charge my iPhone5, but sometime will 'lucky' that can connect to my iTunes and charge battery…

The lighting cable is original and now i'm using OS 7.0.4 / iTunes is 11.1.3

I would try using another cable you can likely borrow one to test from somebody
if it's the same then likely the connector in your iphone have been damaged
