IPhone 6 Plus - screen swipe problem in photo apps

I am having issues swiping at at the bottom of my screen, but strangely it only seems to be in photo editing based apps, which suggests it is is some kind of software issue. My wife also has the same issue with her iPhone 6 Plus so I know it is not just my phone.
For example, in Snapseed the filter options are all along the bottom of the screen but when I try to swipe though them I often get no response or it opens the filter I first touched and swiped on (as if I have tapped it rather than swiped). The same goes for many other photo apps that have filter options to swipe through at the bottom of the screen, including the actual Apple photo app when in edit mode.
In the case of Snapseed, I do manage to swipe the filter options along if I can just touch the area between the actual filter icons, but it is a very small space and hard to touch without hitting one of the icons.
Its not a screen sensitivity issue as I have no problem with response when tapping, also I have no problems in other types of apps, just photo editing ones. The BBC weather app require swiping through the days at the bottom of the screen and is fully responsive.
I am hoping it will be noticed and corrected in future software updates either to iOS or the individual apps, but for now it is massively frustrating.
Anyone else?

I've also experienced this same problem using snapseed. It's really frustrating to use the app.

Iphone 6 plus screen frozen when downloading movies from itunes

My iphone 6 plus screen froze up when I tried to rent/download 2 movies on iTunes. I did not have enought free space to accommodate I guess, so instead I tried downloading it on my iPad since I had more storage space...but when I tried to rent it on my iPad instead, iTunes says I already rented it... Will I be paying for the two movies I rented since I dont have enough space to watch it? And how do I unfreeze my screen?

Hello guys,
So I recently broke my iphone 6 plus screen, and I'm trying to find a reasonable fix for it.
I know it doesnt get covered by warranty, even thou it's valid until Januar.
I'm from Slovenia and the local store asked for 466€(506$) for a repair, which doesn't seem fair at all.
I can see for US are around 130usd for a screen replacement, which is a lot different from 466€(506$).
What can I do? Can I ship my phone through mail to different country?

OK, let's try again. Wind is NOT a supported carrier. In order to use tethering, it must be supported and activated by your carrier for the iPhone. This usually involves an additional fee. You will have to ask your carrier if they can enable it. Odds are, since they are not a supported carrier, they can not. If you want to use tethering, you will most likely have to switch to a supported carrier that offers this feature on the iPhone.

You should be importing all pics taken with the iphone to your computer regularly as you would any digital camera. this is covered in the manual.

You should transfer all itunes purchases from the iphone to the computer: File>Transfer Purchases.

IPhone 6 Plus screen registering false taps and swipes

My iPhone 6 Plus (64GB, Gold, AT&T) is pretty consistently registering false taps and swipes. Even when the phone is sitting alone on a table. The issue has made my phone nearly impossible to use. I've tried a hard reset and a DFU restore then setting it up as a new phone. The issue persists which leads me to believe it's a hardware issue. Has anyone else experienced this?

If restoring as new didn't fix the problem, then your device has a defective touch screen. It needs to be repaired/replaced.

I bought a iPhone 6 plus on launch day. I noticed something immediately and that was that the screen, even on full brightness, wasn't displaying whites as nicely as the phones on display in the apple store. The apple store iPhone 6 pluses on display display bright, vivid whites (let's say when your on google.com) but my phone looked slightly more dimmed and shaded out. The difference is slight, but when you compare, you notice it immediately and have had apple employees notice this before I even compared them the phones side by side.
I ended up having the apple store open a few phones for me to replace and they were WORSE (they opened 5 phones). I ended up returning the phone and getting a new one only to have the same issue. I just don't understand why the iPhone 6 pluses on display have screens that show whites and nice and bright, where as my screens are dimmer and more 'shaded out'.
I promise you, if you have an iPhone 6 plus go to the apple store and do the comparison. Unless your lucky, it'll be there. This isn't a yellow screen, or uniform brightness issue, the screen just looks shaded even on full brightness making whites look more 'grey' than the way they are displayed on the 6 pluses in the store. All the setting are perfect this isn't the issue. The issue is the screen itself. I just wanted to know if I was the only one.

I stopped at two T-Mobile stores this morning to compare my phone with their display models, and in both cases my phone look dull and drab. Because of the warmer whites, text has less contrast and therefor looks blurrier, too. I was considering going to an Apple Store to see if they could exchange the phone, but as you've demonstrated there's no guaranty that you'll get a better phone. After spending $850 on what I thought was a phone with a bigger, better display, I now wish I'd just stayed happy with my 5s or even considered switching back to an Android phone.

IPhone 6 plus screen freezes intermittently - forced restart required

I'm on an iPhone 6 plus with 128gb running 8.1.2.
It seems that intermittently (recently mostly in iMessage; which hasn't been behaving since 8 & yosemite) my phone screen freezes.
By freeze, I mean it is visible. It will even paralax on the home screen so some CPU/GPU stuff is working, I can even click and double-click the home button, but touching the screen elicits no response what so ever.
Recently a new version of the problem has only started in iMessage where I am getting some results, but never anywhere close to the target I actually touch.
Is this a known issue?
Is there a solution, that is known to work?
Is this a hardware problem or software problem?
I have removed all non-apple keyboards because it seemed to always start when I was typing someplace (regardless of keyboard used).
Suggestions? Help!

I've been having similar issues with iOS 8.1.3 on my six plus. It will freeze exactly as you describe--home button works, parallax works, but touching the screen elicits no response. I can also double-press the home button to bring up multi-task view, and I can scroll through the open apps, but I can neither change to another app nor swipe apps up to close them. The freezing occurs most often within the Messages and Email apps, but I've had it happen in Safari, Settings, Calendar, etc. When it happens, its usually a second or two after I open one of the apps in question. Once it freezes, I have to press the lock button and then unlock it, and then everything works fine again for a period. Restarting the phone doesn't really help, as it will randomly freeze again when using one of the aforementioned apps. Apple support recommended I try backing up to iTunes and restoring the phone using the Set up as New option. It seems to have helped a little. Maybe its my imagination, but it doesn't seem to be freezing nearly as often or as long (knocks on wood). But it did not alleviate the problem entirely.

Iphone 6 Plus Screen Cracks

I have what I consider to be a huge problem. I set my phone down on its screen (So I don't end up damaging the camera) on a clean, flat table. I set one side on the table, and dropped it the rest of the way to the table, and heard a pretty loud "POP". I picked up the phone, and found 4 cracks. Two on the right side, and two on the upper and lower corners of the phone. I was livid! I just paid almost $1,000 for a phone that I can't even set down without it cracking? This is definitely an issue that needs to be fixed ASAP!
This Screen scratches extremely easily, and is not strong at all. I treat all of my electronics very well, and to have a screen on a $1,000 product break from the smallest impact you could imagine is just ridiculous!
It doesn't help that I am still waiting for my cases and screen protectors to arrive from Spigen!

So tell me? How did my phone crack in 4 places with zero impact marks?

Two screen repairs plus buying apple care is also $260. Since is have never broken an iPhone screen before, I don't envision having to do this again if they do charge me, but still, it would be the same price.
to finish, you're saying because you've never seen it happen, then it's impossible. Unless you're Jesus, which I'm sure not, you cannot possible determine the outcime of every single situation that will ever happen.

IPhone 6 Plus screen rotation issue

The home and lock screens on my wife's iPhone 6 plus rotate. Can this be shut off? And if I turn on the screen rotation lock, will it stop rotation of the lock and home screens as well as the regular use screens (i.e. - apps, Safari, etc...)? Can these two functions (lock and home screen rotation and all other screen rotation) be set independent of each other?
