Iphone 6 plust update to 8.1 failed with unknown error (6)

Trying to update my iphone 6 plus to ios 8.1 using windows laptop running windows 7. It failed with giving message update failed with unknown error (6).
Exact error is:
     The iPhone "iPhone" could not be restored. An unknown error occured (6).
After this whenever I connect iphone to my laptop itunes shows serial number as n/a and it keeps on asking me to restore but always fails.
Any help in resolving the issue (either completing the update or restoring to factory defaults) is highly appreciates.

Check your security software
Related errors: 2, 4, 6, 9, 1000, 1611, 9006. Sometimes security software can prevent your device from communicating with either the Apple update server or with your device.
Check your security software and settings to make sure that they aren't preventing a connection to the Apple servers.

CRM 2015 Update 0.1 Install Fails with SQL Error

Hi, anyone managed to install CRM 2015 Update 0.1?
The software installed fine but the DB updates fail with a SQL error. Just want to know if this is just my issue or if MS have a bug in the update. This is the SQL error:
System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. ---> System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: The current transaction cannot be committed and cannot support operations that write to the log file. Roll
back the transaction.
Uncommittable transaction is detected at the end of the batch. The transaction is rolled back.
All of the ORGs fail with this error, even when I try to apply the DB update via Deployment manager. I've had to back out the rollup.

The issue appears when the update process creates the index cndx_BusinessDataLocalizedLabel. This is a known cause which is under investigation internally. Currently it seems to plan to release in CRM 2015 SP1

Updated my iphone 4, updated and then came up with an error

I updated my iphone 4, as it finished updating it came up that there had been an error and now iphone wont do anything except come up with the picture of a usb cable and a cdwith itunes on it. My phone is connected to laptop but itunes wont load up unless i load it? Any ideas will be greatfully received.

Over the past month, my desktop Firefox has started displaying the dreaded “Sync encountered an error while syncing: Unknown error.” message. I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting the browser, but it still does it.

That 503 error is very common. Whilst fiddling, I think I saw a 502, but wouldn't swear to it.
With the logOnSuccess option enabled, I get something which, helpfully, appears to be completely different!

Queued files randomly failing with "Unknown error"

This making no sense. Any file I queue singularly into ME from premiere will export fine. If I queue up a bunch and let it go on its own, the files randomly fail. The log says unknown error.
I'm on win 7, I have 16 GB of RAM, I am using Mercury acceleration, ppreHeadless.exe is using 2.1 GB or RAM, resource monitor is telling em I have 5 GB of RAM not in use that is available and CPU usage is maxed.
ANY ideas what could be the issue?

Seems ot be happening randomly with singular vids as well. All possible updates are installed. It gets right to rendering the last frame of the file and then hangs and then the sheep yells at me.
Edit 2: Exporting them right of Premiere works just fine.

Sync fails with "Unknown Error" no clear UI shows what happened

I'm using the latest Firefox 3.6 with the latest sync extension on some machines and the latest Firefox beta (4.0b6) on another machine. A few weeks ago the sync stopped work on my Firefox Beta and the only error I could see is: Error while syncing: Unknown error.
I took the time today to to see what happens and saw on the log (about:sync-log) that:

This raises two questions. First, the UI does not shows exactly what happened. This kind of issues with upgrades on the sync platform should be expected.
Second, this shows that a regular user shouldn't be using sync with different Firefox versions. This is quite usual, I think (a more stable version on work and newer version on home) and should be expected.

Even I had similar issue however it got resolved by itself, so it could be something to do with external to CM12 as Umair mentioned. Ipad2 restore fails with unknown error(1) with "iTunes and recovery" mode logo

Ipad2 64GB was sluggish and we tried to update with latest iOS update, security 2014-005 and latest iTunes on iMac 12.01 It enters a recoverymode with the iTunes logo and connector symbol displayed on the screen. Recognized that iPad is connected and proceeded to restore to factory condition. Goes through several stages, FW verification, restore etc but fails to proceed past a certain point and puts up an unknown error (1) occurred message. Disabled firewall and tried restore and it failed in the same spot. Tried using power + home button combos to enter DFW or restore mode. None of them worked. Took it to the Apple store and was told that it can't be debugged further because it did not yet boot up ( if it has the iTunes and connector symbol it must be in some state that it can be interacted with?) It's physically in a perfectly beautiful condition, nothing funky (jail breaking etc ) done to it, well taken care of. The tech said that he can offer a replacement for 299$ after he tried to restore it twice without success. I am surprised that this tech thinks that it cannot be probed with some low level FW tools through the serial connector to determine the system state. Any suggestions?

BPM getting failed with unknown error in inbound queue

Hi ,
I am using BPM for simple IDOC collection( time based collection) .Its working fine also .However once it fail we can see the BPE failed in inbound processing error in smq2 and status is system faliure.
on debugging we can see a unknown error in transformation step that error in conversion [NN]. to proxy Z_interface name ( the proxy which automatically get created for transformation step. ) data related issue.
When we check the same input data in IR its working fine in message mapping . we are unable to find any other error either in BPM or in the input data.
The most surprising thing is that when we deleted the message from queue and re-triggered the IDOC once again from SAP system then its worked fine .
Can any body kindly suggest what can be the probable reason of this .As we are afraid that if the same thing will happen in production what we will do without any expalination we can't delete queue and retrigger IDOCs there.

One option would be to raise an exception for such steps....in the Exception handler you can repeat the same step....in your case it will be the mapping (n:1) .....are you sure that the process failed in Transformation step and that the data was correct....i mean all the 5 IDOCs were sent as an input to the mapping?
Can you ensure that during this time there was no connection issue between the BPM and the mapping runtime (IE)....may be you can check with your BASIS.

My uploads to Facebook fail with Unknown Error

Every attempt to upload my projects to Facebook fail with the message "Error, Unknown Error" message.
I have tried projects from 15 down to just 5 minutes.
I have tried projects with 6 down to just 1 clip.
I have tried wireless and wired connections.
I went into preferences and reset my web settings, then rebooted.
I have tried online "live" support (useless).
So here are a few screen captures of how my attempts to share to facebook go:
It renders ok...
It Uploads ok...
It gets all the way to the last few seconds in the transferring step...
then errors out...
Can anyone suggest anything I can try?

Try using Publish & Share/Computer/AVCHD with the YouTube preset -- then manually upload the file to YouTube.
Although Adobe tries to keep up with it, YouTube continues to be a bit of a moving target, when it comes to interfacing with it. Rather than fight with it, I find it's best to just output an AVC/Mp4 file and load it to the site myself.

In case it happens again, try to manually select the folders you want to synchronize with in MS Outlook. In PC Companion, click Settings when you're in the synchronization app and the select the option for personal data on the left and then click Properties for Contacts and Calendar to select folder.

DPM 2012 R2 - update roll up 2 failed with fatal error

i successfully updated DPM to rollup 1 , but when i try to install roll up 2 i get " Fatal Error"
i tried reboot the server still same issue.

Sync continually fails with "Unknown error." Been happening recently (used to work). Anyone else having this problem?

Mac OS X 10.6.7, Firefox 4.0.1.
Sync Now from the menu likewise fails.
Attempting to get the sync quotas from the Preferences also comes back with a similar error.

To add a clarifying point in my case, which may or may not be universal for the others having this problem as well: it came within minutes of the update to 4.0.1, so it seems likely it has to do with the new version. OP said it used to work but started happening recently, so it could be the same cause as mine, given the recent release of the update, and OP's indication that 4.0.1 is also in use.

I set up firefox sync on two desktops; setting it up on a third fails with "unknown error" after I input the key. All other add-ons are disabled. What should I do?

I followed the same procedure in adding a device for the second and for the third. The second one worked, but not the third.
As far as I know, all software is up to date.

I have a MAC computer with Sync. Was set up under sync Beta. I have an Android phone synced to it that was synced using the pair this device function. It works perfectly. I just got a new Android Tablet and am trying to add it to my sync and it does not seem to have the pair my device function. It insists I log into my sync account. So I try it and it tells me invalid userid/password. I verify and it is the exact email address userid that shows as being my sync account on the MAC. I verify the password on the MAC and it tests out fine. Try the tablet again and invalid.. So I try to reset my password on the tablet and am told my email address/account name does not exist. I just verified it AND Synced my MAC using it!! I have my recovery Key but there is no place to input it into the tablet. There is no place on tablet to enter the link device codes. How can my account be valid and in use on two devices but invalid and nonexistant on the new one? And How do I get the New one to sync with other two?

Mappingtool fails with unknown error

I keep trying to learn JDO with KODO, but I've hit another roadblock.
I've created a basic metadata file, then ran jdoc on it which was fine.
However, when trying to run mappingtool, I get the following error:

I have some more information on this:
I tried changing the MappingFactory to metadata instead of the default
file. When I do this, I do not get an error, but nothing gets added to
my package.jdo file either.
It seems like the file I/O is simply not working here for some reason.
When I choose the db MappingFactory, the mapping information gets put in
the database correctly. When I give mappingtool the -f option it will
output the file correctly. However, the default file or metadata are
simply not doing proper I/O. I'd like to stick with the default file
MappingFactory.
I'm using Windows XP, I start up a command prompt using the jdoCmd.bat
file, I go to my build's classes directory which has the proper
package.jdo file at the base, and then I run:
jdoc package.jdo (works fine)
mappingtool -a refresh package.jdo
Any help on this problem?
