IPhone 6 screen breakes in my hand

I have had my IPhone 6 for just over a month now, and it has already broken 3 times. Normally, this would be due to misuse or dropping the phone, and/or failing to use a case. However, my situation is much different. Each time my phone has broken, I have been holding it in my hand and it has shattered beneath My thumbs! I have tried using different cases, but it doesnt seem
to change the outcome. What can I do? Am I the only one with this problem?

Hi, I've seen many videos on youtube on how iphone screens break and internally the touch screen still works and all . I'd like to know if the glass is merely a protection for the insides of the iphone and if possible, if broken, nothing wrong will happen to the touch screen mechanism, and the iphone would just require a screen /lcd replacement.

Why do you ask? Is yours broken -- or are you planning to break it for some reason?
As said above, there are different "degrees of broken". My daughter had an iPod Touch which got a broken screen. She reported it still worked -- mostly. She since passed it on to a friend and has a 3GS.

The Lifeproof case will provide reasonable protection from accidents and liquid intrusion. Screen protectors themselves provide essentially no protection, other than from minor scratches.
You can use the ones Lifeproof included, or less expensive ones. The cheapest ones you can find on the market are adequate. More expensive ones don't do anything better. Some can damage the glass, which won't be covered under AppleCare.
It's practically impossible to apply any of them without trapping a piece of dust.
None are really required.

When i tried to connect iphone to itunes in my pc it was asking for passcode which i had forgotten ages ago. Suggest me the possible ways to recover my iphone.

Since the screen doesn't work, it will be challenging to get it working, even thru iTunes. You will need to ask yourself if you want to invest more money in it or get a new one, especially since the contents will be lost since you don't know the passcode. Apple will gladly replace the screen for a cost that represents a significant portion of the price of a new. Once the screen is done, you may or may not be eligible for the free iPhone 5 Battery Replacement Program.
Or, if you decide to salvage it and are strong of heart and firm of hand, you can replace the screen yourself for less. See here and note they carry kits with all needed tools and parts.

ITunes 11 how do I arrange apps on iPhone screens from computer? Device tab disappears???

I just downloaded iTunes 11, and am regretting it. It is super easy to buy new music, apps and vids, but I can't figure out how to get it to display my iPhone screens on the computer. It will sync, when I plug in my phone via a USB cord, but other than that...what the heck? I tried to click on my Device tab but the second I do, that tab just disappears. Nothing changes, I get no screen showing my iPhone screens, no way to move around my apps in iTunes. What am I missing or doing wrong? I can go to my Apps tab and see all my apps, in alphabetical order. I can select them all and update them, etc., etc., but I just can't figure out how to show my iPhone screens while in iTunes.
I've searched online and found a How To that shows your phone comes up after you click on the Device tab...but I can't get that Device tab to work. HELP! This is driving me nuts and making me feel completely illiterate.

This is what I done on my Macbook Pro 10.7.5, Using iTune 11.0.1 to Sync with my iPad 2.

Once iTunes 11.0.1 is up & running
On the top Left hand side, Click on Apps
In the Middle of iTunes, Click on iPad or iPhone
Then on the top right corner, Click on your device icon with the Eject button
Then you should see you device screen at the bottom were you can start moving around apps or etc.....

Why is the lower part of my iPhone screen unresponsive (certain apps only)?

I have an iPhone 3GS, just updated it to iOS 6 last week.
It has been working fine, but since yesterday the lower 1/10th of the screen (where the send button is for SMS, space bar and other key items) is unresponsive in certain apps.
For example, I can swipe to unlock the phone from the locked state and generally use the lower 1/10th of the screen, but when I try to use this area in Messages, Camera, emails and other key apps the lower 1/10th of the screen is unresponsive. Nothing happens when I click action items. In some apps (messages) it is only the lower left corner that doesn't work.
Has anyone had app specific unresponsiveness from their iPhone screen?
I restored the phone last night to no avail.
HELP!!
I need it to work until I upgrade to iPhone 5 when it is back in stock!

Im not going to be a great help as im on OS X, bit Ill have a go:
For a number of reasons, iTunes and the iPod/iPhone only support a handful of types of video file. Mainly a file type called .mp4 which is normally h.264 with embeded metadata. This isnt a special Apple video file, and as long as it doesnt have DRM, can be played on many modern devices such as the Xbox360, PSP, PS3 etc.
The only limiting thing you have to watch out for is the resolution of the video as some devices will not be able to play the higher resolution content such as a 1080p HDTV stream on an iPhone, it just wont play!
So what you need to do, if you have videos in many different file types such as realplayer, wmv, and avi etc, you need top convert them to mp4, and then optionally add cover art and tag the file with show name etc.
None of this is built in, partly because Apple wants you to buy content rather than get it elsewhere, and partly as itts a little more complicated than making an mp3 at the moment.
On my Mac I use a program called Handbrake (free) that can rip from DVD to an iphone version, and a program called VisualHub that can convert just about any video type to iphone format. After encoding the video, i use a program called MetaX to correctly tag the video fiels so that they are easy to find in iTunes and so that I can make smart playlists etc. Do this and the files in iTunes act just like if you had purchased them from the store.
Now, I dont know whats good for Windows, but I did a google search and found this which is free and for Windows:

Your question isn't at all clear. Is this a second-hand phone which has been locked by the previous user? In that case only the previous owner can unlock it, either by providing you with the account ID and password, or by removing it from his list of devices (as he should have done before selling it) - please see http://support.apple.com/kb/ts4515
If you unable to contact him to do this then I'm afraid you will not be able to use the device - there is no other way of unlocking it at all.
You should if possible return it to wherever you bought it and ask for a refund as in this event the device is completely useless.
You should not post serial numbers or any other personal data here; I've asked the Hosts to remove it.

Set up your iPhone screen doesn't go away!

Hello all,
My iPhone 3G was running fine until I decided to install the 2.0.2 software upgrade. After doing so, my new iPhone purchased a week ago at the Apple Store was bricked.
After I successfully restored a backup, when I click on my device in iTunes it takes me back to the "Set Up Your iPhone" screen, with the only option being to Continue.
When I click continue, it restores all over again and this whole process keeps repeating, taking me back to the Set up your iPhone screen.
How do I break out of this cycle?

Click set up as a new phone, as soon as the process starts cancel it on the iPhone. Then also click the x in the status window of iTunes. Unhook the iPhone, and hold the wake/sleep button and home button until the phone shuts off. now press the wake/sleep buton the iPhone will start up. Once it is fully booted up. plug it back in. I bet your issue is gone. POOF!

Screen breaks easily?

Has any one experience that the screen of iphone 6 breaks very easy? I was on the metro, and my phone has fold to the floor, I was with other people and we tried to catch it before touching the floor. Unfortunately even that the crash was quite soft, the screen broke completely...Does this screen supposed to be more flexible and breaking prove?

The screen of the iPhone 6 is just as resistance to damage as previous iPhones and most every smartphone out there.
Dropping an iPhone can possibly cause damage. This is what happened in your case.

IPhone Screen Replacement

Hi.
I dropped my iPhone on the ground a few months ago and the screen cracked. It's been working fine since then. My brother in the mean time dropped his iPhone in the pool and it has ceased to function at all. My question is: do you think his screen is still in working condition and is it possible to swap the glass/digitizer from his and install it in mine? I'm aware this is a difficult process but I would be up for it. Thanks.

Well, if the screen works, it's certainly possible. Your phone could be fixed by Apple for $199. His will probably cost a lot more for apple to replace.
However, you risk completely breaking your phone. Then you'll have problems. Again replacement costs will be much higher than $199.
Anyway, in actuality, the top half of the iPhone (screen, digitizer, and ear piece) is relatively easy to replace, as long as you do all three at once. One the 3G and 3GS, it's the 2 screws at the bottom and a few cables. iFixit.com has nice guides as well as parts.

Before you do a factory default reset, try just resetting the phone. Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down until the Apple logo appears on the screen and wait for phone to restart itself.
If this doesn't help, you will need to turn on iTunes on your computer. Connect your phone using the sync cable. Select the phone in iTunes on the left hand navigation panel. On the phone's summary page in iTunes click the Restore button and wait for the phone to restore itself. If iTunes asks if you want to restore from a backup say no. Or you will be right back to where you were.
You will have to re-load all your apps and music. If you have any pictures that you want to save, see if you can connect the phone to your computer without iTunes running. Then in your computer browser (Not sure if you are on Windows or Mac) see if you can find your phone. If so, open it up like a drive, open the folder that contains your pictures and drag them to a folder on your computer.
By not restoring from a backup you lose everything and really do get back to factory settings. Which means starting from scratch.
