IPhone 6 set up

We just upgraded 2 phones, both of us went with 6's. Incoming calls are going to both phones, mine is showing I can connect to a video game on the other, and our send/receive is set up with our individual phone numbers. What am I missing? Thank you!

Until you get a UK bank account and credit card, buy and redeem UK iTunes gift cards for use in the iTunes and Mac App Stores. But you need to switch your region/country to the UK store in your account information, as you can't use UK iTunes gift cards in the Irish stores, the gift cards are country specific.

I just got an iPhone 5s, and I restored from a previous back up (mistake) and now I can't restore the phone to start again without "turning off the find my iphone setting" but it's using an old email address as the icloud login, which i don't have a password to / never used for an icloud account. I have gone and changed my settings to a different email on my icloud / apple ID but on my phone it won't let me change the email address for icloud, it's greyed over and keeps trying to verify?

If you mean that Find My Phone is asking for a password to a different Apple ID to your current Apple ID.
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID using your current password, you don’t need access to this address if it’s previously been used with your Apple ID, once you have saved these details enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone" and delete the account from your device.
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, save it once again and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

IPhone Setting in Compressor 2

I am wanting to compress some video for the iPhone with compressor two, but the presets are only in 3. I was wondering if someon knew where I could get a preset (DL) or could share the settings so I can output the best video for the iPhone.
Also I was reading something that may indicate that the size on the iPhone setting shoudl be 640x480 rather than 480x320. is this due to the 16e ppi resolution of the iPhone?

That's a tough spot you're in. Not sure if you can create/expect a preset to work with Compressor 2 since it's MP4 settings are so limited. And you can't do virtually anything with the .m4v presets.
In the absence of Compressor 3 (and/or QT 7.2), try the following:
With your sequence selected or active, File > Export > QT Conversion.
Select MPEG-4 from the Format drop-down.
Hit the Options buttons to bring up the MPEG-4 Export Settings dialog
File Format is, by default, set to MP4 (ISMA). Instead, select the MP4 option.
Switch Video Format to H.264.
Adjust the Data Rate to 960 kbits/sec.
Alter the Image Size to Custom, then set width and height to 480x360.
Check the Preserve Aspect Ratio using box and set the drop-down value to Fit within size.
Set Frame Rate to Current
Set Keyframe Rate to either Automatic or the equivalent of every 5 seconds. For standard NTSC video, that would be every 150 frames.
Click the Video Options button and set the Restrict Profile(s) to Baseline only (that is, uncheck Main).
If you fail to do this step, your movies will not load onto your iPhone/iPod as those devices are limited to Baseline profile files.
If you can afford the processing time, select Best Quality (Multi-Pass) for the encoding mode, then click out of the Video Options sheet.
As far as Audio settings goes, the defaults (AAC-LC, 44.1 kHz, 128 Mbps, Stereo) should be fine. The only thing you might want to change is the encoding quality (the default is Better) but that's totally up to you.
Click OK to exit the Export Settings. Then do the appropriate housekeeping (name your file correctly, set it to export to the appropriate destination), then hit Save.
For what it's worth, since this can take a year and a day to encode, you might find it nicer to export a reference QT movie, then open it up in QT Pro. Then Export from there, so FCP isn't locked up.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
When you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.

What brand/model USB drive? Is it bus or AC powered?
On Mail...
First Quit Mail, then I'd backup these two Mail folders, by right clicking on them in the Finder, then choose Archive/Compress.
Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail
Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail Downloads
(Could be a different folder here if you chose such in Mail Prefs)
Right click on that Mail folder, choose archive, you'll get everything in the folder, and the folder itself in a file called Mail.zip, move it to a safe place, same for the Mail Downloads folder... only the plist is separate.
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist

It sounds like you are unable to turn on Wi-Fi because the option is grayed out in Settings. Use these steps from the following article named:

Restart your iOS device.
Make sure that airplane mode is off by tapping Settings > Airplane Mode.
Reset the network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
This will reset all network settings, including Bluetooth pairing records, Wi-Fi passwords, VPN, and APN settings.
Make sure that your device is using the latest software. To do so, connect your device to your computer and check for updates in iTunes.
If you still can't turn Wi-Fi on, please contact Apple for support and service options. If you can turn Wi-Fi on but are experiencing other issues with Wi-Fi, please see these steps.

Compressor takes two hours for iPhone setting??

I have never had much success using Compressor and so simply use the export settings in FCP.
I would like to use Compressor, but admittedly, have not learned the ins and outs...however, this evening I sent a 5 minute video to Compressor, chose the iPhone setting - the first pass failed after about 10 minutes and I stopped the 2nd try after it was taking just too long - it said it had an hour and 48 minutes left when I stopped the export.
Within FCP - I chose the Quicktime with Conversion option and then the iPhone setting - and it took 7 minutes to export.
Is this normal for Compressor? And would I really get better quality using Compressor vs. FCP?? Does the time difference sound normal??

Recreate the job and start it. While it's running launch Activity Monitor and check to see if any resources are bottomed out- CPU, RAM. Is Page Outs zero?
Then export the file straight out of FCP, but at the native sequence settings. Same codec, everything. Should be a big file. Run that file through Compressor and compare the results.

This has to do with the Time Zone Support selected in your phone. If you check in Settings>Mail, Contact, Calendars, there is a setting for Time Zone Support at the bottom of the page under Calendars. If that is turned to off, the calendar should support the local time. Because time is set to Automatic (since you say the time is correct on the iPhone), it is reflecting the local time. That information comes from the carrier, not the iPhone itself. You can check, however the iPhone says that if you turn off the Time Zone support, it should reflect in the local time. Do a test, if possible, and see if that will do what you are asking.

Can I uninstall iTunes now I have my iPhone set to sync with iCloud?

I decided that I wanted to completely phase iTunes out of my life now that I really can't see a need for it. I now have my iPhone set up to automatically create a backup to the iCloud. This will obviously make it easier when buying a new iPhone or iDevice. However, I need to be sure that I'm safe before I uninstall and remove iTunes from my PC.
Does having my iPhone set to sync with iCloud in settings now mean that iTunes can be made redundant and mean I can safely now remove it from my PC? Will all of my apps and music be safely backed up too?

I have reconsidered my situation and realised it would probably be more wise to hold onto iTunes. The only reason I wanted to get rid of it is because it uses up space on my hard drive unnecessarily. I also don't have any music on my iPhone that I did not buy via iTunes, is Match the only way to make sure your iTunes purchases are backed up to iCloud? When I buy a new iPhone and set it up the new way, I won't get my iTunes purchases automatically installed again?
My other issue is that I soon plan to do a fresh install of my OS when I purchase Windows 8. I will obviously lose iTunes and didn't want to have to go through the trouble of setting it up again if I really don't have to.
But I also today realised the only way to do a restore should anything go wrong and the only way to request a refund on a purchase is through iTunes, which makes it more worth while keeping around.

On your iPhone:
Go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive > You Can Be Reached By, and add a check to both your phone number and email address.
Go to Messages > Text Message Forwarding, and enable the device(s) you would like to forward messages to.
Your Mac, iPad, or iPod touch will display a code. Enter this code on your iPhone to verify the SMS feature.
