IPhone 6 settings changed

Hi Everyone, wonder if someone can help me please. My iPhone 6 settings have suddenly changed - the battery percentage no longer displays and the messages have suddenly started giving me previews - neither will let me change them back to how they were - any ideas please?

Lets get those settings the way you want them. First, for the battery percentage, go to Settings > General > Usage and toggle on Battery Percentage to take care of that. For the second, go to Settings > Notification Center and scroll down to Messages and you should see an option to turn off the previews so they do not show up when you get a message.

You cannot.
By Design the iPhone can Only Sync to One iTunes Library at a time.

In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")

What settings change on my iPhone when I download wisekey certifyid?

Wisekey is a secure password & information app. Wisekey certifyid is a certificate that encrypts the information stored. To get the certification it requests me to install it & it warns that it will change my iPhone settings. Not sure what exactly will change so unsure as to install it or not. Need help & information.

I would contact the app manufacturer about that. They would know absolutely everything about what would be changing in the settings (much more than we would here)

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

Help...Iphone 5c settings changed by themselves

I have an iPhone5c and today my settings changed automatically by themselves and when I have attempted to change them back they will not stick.
Specifically my battery percentage has disappeared and my message settings have changed as well. I had my settings to where there would be no message preview but now there is a preview and I am unable to change them back when I select those options. I change the setting back to how it was but then it reverts to how it automatically changed.
Can someone please assist me with how to fix this!? Aside from paying $30 or making an appointment, I was advised this was my only option.

You can update to the latest IOS 8.1.1.
As for settings not sticking:
Check if you have Restrictions set for those items.
Note: you need to enable Restriction to change/see what is set.

How did my daughters iphone settings affect my ipad?

When i bought my ipad my daughters contacts were transferred over. She had a blackberry at the time. now with a iphone, her settings are effecting my IPAD. i can't CHECK IN on FB because it gives me a message to go in to my IPHONE and change a setting. I don't have an IPHONE. She does. We have different email accounts and don't use the same PC for ICLOUD.
Any help we be greatly appreciated!

The iPhone is like an iPad that is also a telephone. You may be able to change the setting on the iPad following the iPhone instructions.
If it doesn't work that way, tell us more about the setting you need to change.

Recd. Verizon's notice to change server settings. PC changed easily and is working well. iPhone (4S AT&T) "outgoing" OK but "incoming" when changed from incoming.verizon.net to pop.verizon.net will not download any emails. Any ideas why?

Normally the outbound SMTP server has to be provided by the email provider, other wise if your email domain name is not part of the domain that the SMTP server recognizes as its own, it will not accept your mail for delivery.
You have to use your account to authenticate to the outbound SMTP server before it will accept your email for delivery. They do that to avoid spamers using their servers to send spam.
For example:
For my verizon.net account, I use smtp.verizon.net (port 465 with SSL on and password authentication).
For my gmail account, I use smtp.gmail.com (port 465 with SSL on and password authentication).
And for my live.com account I use smtp.live.com (port 25 with SSL on and password authentication).
They all work just fine.

To delete all of your messages from your inbox, go to the settings tab, and then go down to "Number of messages per page" and set it to "No limit". Hit "Save" at the top and then hit OK when it asks you to refresh your browser. Then in your inbox, check the box that is to the left of "Sender" and hit delete. It will take a long time if you have that many messages, but it'll get done. Cheers!

You're welcome.
First check to be sure the new phone is running the same or higher version of iOS as the one you backed up (Settings>General>About>Version). If it isn't, you'll need to update the iOS first. Then go to Settings>General>Reset, tap Erase All Content and Settings, go through the setup screens on the phone and when given the options, choose Restore from iCloud backup and follow the prompts, choosing the backup of your personal phone to restore to.
Be sure the phone is connected to wifi and your charger while it is restoring the backup.

No, it only mirrors changes to synced data. This includes mail, contacts, calendars, reminders, safari bookmarks, notes, iWork documents and data, and photo stream photos (assuming you choose to sync all this data). Changes to iTunes data such as music, apps, podcasts, etc., are not synced using iCloud. In your example, if you delete an app from one device it will remain on the other until deleted there too.
