IPhone Home Phone Dock and Usage

I am sure this has been asked before but I can't find any reference. I would like to get rid of my home phone landline. However I don't want to have to carry my iPhone around the house all the time. Is there a system that has a dock I can plug my iPhone into that would then relay calls to handsets located throughout the house just as is done today with my landline? Thanks for the help.

There are a number of devices that will do this, most work quite well. You dock your cell phone, and if a call comes in you can answer on any phone in the house. The biggest problem is finding one that will dock an iphone...just about every phone mfg. uses different types of connectors, thus your biggest problem is finding one that works with iphone. Google & patience are your friends here.
