Iphone in Emergency screen mode !!!
After restoring, my phone has gone to emergency mode, how can i bring it back to normal, when i try to restore it gives me error messages.
Hi! I work for at&t and if it gives an error message about your sim card then you will need to get a new sim card from an at&t store and reactivate. Sorry I know you don't want to hear that but that is the only way to fix the problem.

I have recently installed the beta OS4 on my iPhone 3Gs 32 Gb and I have had some troubles for instance with the iTunes store: if downloading a song on the phone it would just crash, the Calendar is repeating reminders over and over (sometimes it would just not stop), had to do a few complete resets, the mediaplayer would just crash, twitter apps are crashing. It really is beta software but given the latest problems I now sincerely regret ever installing it.

My phone this morning was locked in the "emergency calls only"-screen. I have tried everything from switching on and off, resetting through iTunes, hard reset (pushed the home button+on/of button simultanuously): nothing works, it will just return to the emergency call screen. iTunes tells me that the softwareversion perspired and i need to upgrade (?), after I try to do that it says I have the latest version and if I try to reset through iPhone or even synchronise iTunes says it can not access the iPhone. I am locked out of my own phone and can do nothing about it.
I need some professional help from Apple (or just someone very smart) as the only way out I see now is smashing the thing against the wall.
Please help!

PapoiseSince your phone is no longer tied to a dev account, it looks like you won't be able to upgrade until te final release...
You can still downgrade, you'll have to put your iPhone in DFU mode. It goes something like this:
plug the iPhone into a computer
press and hold the home an sleep buttons until the "connect to iTunes" screen shows up
iTunes will detect the iPhone is in recovery mode
you can now restore it
The down side os you'll lose you all your stuff that's one the iPhone, but I don't think that's avoidable now.
(If te above sequence doesn't work for you, google DFU mode.)

the iphone goes from recovery mode to some other mode where it keeps restarting with apple logo flashing on the screen continuously. and there is no error in itunes at all which stays in "waiting for iphone" status

In the article Resolve iOS update and restore errors this is what it says about error 14:
Check your USB connections
Related errors: 13, 14, 1600, 1601, 1602, 1603, 1604, 1611, 1643-1650, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2009, 4005, 4013, 4014, or “invalid response."
If the USB connection between your device and computer is interrupted, you may be unable to update or restore.
To narrow down the issue, you can also change up your hardware:
Use the USB cable that came with your device, or a different Apple USB cable.
Plug your cable into a different USB port directly on your computer. Don't plug it into your keyboard.
Try a different computer.
If necessary, resolve any further issues with the USB connection, then with your security software.
If you're still seeing the error message, check for hardware issues by following the next section. -
If you add music videos to Up Next playlist, then go to look at the album cover playing screen, then go to add another song from different playlist, you no longer can see Up Next, just go to full screen mode button. Using remote app iPhone 5 to play out of iTunes. It looks like it works fine for regular music, but for music videos you can't see your up next unless you go back on the computer to change once you've left the screen. When using the remote app, you shouldn't need to go to iTunes on the PC to view or edit Up Next already added. See first image, you can hit upper right and get back to Up Next (second image). Third image is music video, where you can't get back to Up Next, just swap between full screen and not. I hoped 3.0.1 would have the answer, no luck!

I awoke this morning to find my iPhone 3g in recovery mode. I tried rebooting, charging, and when I connected to iTunes it gave me a message saying I had to finish recovery first. My screen shows the iTunes logo and the USB cable. Any ideas?

iphone 4 black screen, tried dfu mode itunes not picking up device. not able to bring up red phone off slide bar or apple logo if any combination of button holding.
Phone was given to me by apple 2 weeks ago. Last I saw of it working was phone was off so i did the quick reset. Apple logo came up, it started up and keypad for passcode came up. It said 2% battery then went up to 64% a second later. When I was playing wth it not 5mins before it was at 65% so would make sence that later indication was correct. Before I could type the 4 digit passcode in the phone turned off to black screen. Now I have tried all possible reset options incuding the 10 second hold down of both buttons for less than 10 seconds and longer than 10 seconds. Nothing is working. iTunes is not recognising the device at all. Ive had it plugged into a wall socket for three hours and the computer for 2 hours and no signal of life. Ive tried the forums on here and the youtube vidoes and seem to know what im doing with resets. Anyone able to shed some light?Not being able to get DFU Mode indicates hardware failure. Since you recently received this iPhone from Apple it has at a minimum 90 day Warranty. Make Genius reservation or make service arrangements and take or send to Apple for resolution. Regarding what is actually wrong with the iPhone, it could be possibility of several things. But some of the features point directly to battery. First step in fixing this iPhone would be battery replacement. Then trouble-shooting from there if still problem. Take it to Apple.

Screen trails and flickers, stays in negative screen mode, iphone 4s,
I have an iphone 4s. My phone is in almost negative screen mode. I went into the settings but the negative was not turned on. Also when you are at my homepage and lockscreen the screen trails from its previous screen. on my 2nd page you can still see some of the apps from my first page. Also the lights on the phone flicker. Please help. This happened in a quick second while i was in the car. I have never dropped or have done anything bad to this phone. Thank you.

AT&T SIM card in unlocked iPhone 4 brings up emergency screen
Okay, so I bought an unlocked iPhone 4 in Canada (where I live)... came down to Florida for a few weeks and decided to pop in an AT&T GoPhone SIM card (pay as you go) after reading/watching the how-to process online. I should also mention that I cut my Rogers SIM card down to a micro SIM manually and had much success, so I cut the AT&T card the very same way; however, when I insert at AT&T SIM card into my iPhone, it switches to the "Slide for Emergency" screen, wanting me to connect to iTunes. In all the videos and walkthroughs I've gone through, no one has had to deal with this problem. Anyone have an idea why this is happening?
No you won't. Unlocking the GSM side of a Sprint phone will let you use carriers in other countries but not domestic carriers.

NVM... broke down and called Apple Care. Pressed on/off button and held it for a few minutes before pressing home button. In recovery mode, but at least it is doing something now!

This is a feature called Reachability - was not sure if the 6 had it - the 6 Plus does - lightly double tapping the home button makes the upper half of the screen slide lower for easier one handed operation - you can turn it on or off in settings

IPhone 3GS On-Screen Keyboard Problem!
The number, space bar and return key on my iPhone 3GS on-screen keyboard is not working until you tilt it to landscape mode! When I tap the number key, it activates the cap key. When I tap the space bar,depending on weather I'm taping the left, middle or right, it will activate the "X, C or B keys, respectively and when I tap the return/done key, it will activate the backspace key! This problem happened suddently about two days ago!
What on earth is the problem and can anyone please help me?
Thank you very much in advance!Try pushing the "home" button twice rapidly to get the multitasking bar to open. Hold on the icon for the app store for a few seconds until you get the option to close it. Then try reopening it and see what happens. That will probably fix it.

Since upgrading to ios7 my iPhone 4S no longer allows me to watch music videos in full screen mode when I select the clips via a playlist from the music app.
It's now more necessary than before to use the music app rather than the video app to select music videos to play. That's because the video app doesn't list music videos by artist any more. And also because the fast forward and rewind buttons on headphones remote no longer work on videos.
How do I watch full screen videos when rotating my iphone now shows my music library rather than showing the video itself?I do not think it is a problem to play videos in the full screen mode using the video app. It should work just fine, it does work ok for me on iphone 5. The original question was to play music videos in the music app. Music videos and videos are two different things - I am not sure why but they are.
The problem here is that the music app supports lists and the video app does not. I just looked at the ios7 video app and while my few test videos are shown in it, the lists they were in (in iTunes) are nowhere to be found. There is no lists in the video app - period - which is as it was before.
The video app plays videos and music videos in the full screen mode no problem but if you have a few hundreds or more of such videos you will have hard time finding the one you want to play. There is simply no way to categorize or group videos. The old good folders/directories are, I guess, too simple for Apple. It is just too bad that for years on end the world's leader in S/W development did not offer anything to categorize videos.
You have lists, albums, etc., for music, you have albums for pictures but you have absolutely nothing for videos. And this is and has been the Apple's state-of-the art solution for this problem - simply insist that the problem does not exist. Actually it is getting worse. Not only there is nothing to categorize or group videos but now the only way it could be done (by marking videos as music videos and using the music app) results in a mini playback area.
Soon this OS will be able to cook dinner for your but grouping videos... no way.
