Iphone to iphone SMS not working

Been looking for a solution to this for a while but cant seem to find a fix to this.
When i am NOT in a wi fi area I dont seem to receive SMS from other iphone users. ( i do though receive SMS from non-iphone users, the problem is isolated to SMS from iphone users) . When i do get to a wi fi area,all my messages show up!
anyone experience this and found an explanation please share

If the iPhone came from the US then it is locked to AT&T. To unlock an iPhone the original carrier is the only one who can unlock the iPhone and AT&T will not unlock iPhones. So there is not official way to unlock the iPhone 4.
At this point there is no way to hack the iPhone 4 running 4.2.1 to unlock it either so the phone and messaging apps will never work. You basically have an iPod touch.

i have the same problem. since you're software is already iOS 5.1 go to settings>general> accessibility>the settings after triple click home, i forgot what is it called but that would help.

I had that problem with my iPhone 3G after about 5 days.
I just had Apple take a look at it.
They cleaned it out, called it and stuff.
Didn't work.
Since I didn't drop it in water and it was not my fault in any way, they gave me a brand new one.

It seems that settings of mail accounts have something to do with it. I've delete my gmail account and am now using Microsoft Exchange. It seems better, yet not perfect. The issue is definitely due to OS 4.3.1
Apple answer is - no answer. It is a shame that the quality of their products, in terms of design and concept, is not match by a care for customers. It is not normal that I, as a customer, have to spend hours reading Apple Discussions forum to try to understand what the problem is. A little more respect for a customer that spend big $$$ buying their products wouldn't hurt.

Apple, as I said, does not repair your iPhone. All hardware service issues are handled by replacing the unit. So they can't handle the home-button issue without also addressing the issue of the cracked screen, for which they'll almost certainly charge you. But you can make an appointment at an Apple Store or call Apple tech support and plead your case.

i bought an iphone 4s for my girl friend as a gift and it is now in the philippines, when i try to play the music from non iphone player it does not work when i put it in the charging port of it, on my iphone 4s it works fine, no i am in cebu city and the phone that does not work will be here too, so who can i bring it to since the phone was bought in february while the phone is here in cebu city philippines, i will be coming home to the states the end of june so do i really need to bring the phone with me, thanks

ITunes on my iPhone 5 is suddenly not working.

iTunes on my iPhone 5 is suddenly not working. Updated to IOS8.0 (not running 8.0.1) a few days go but was fine up until today. Now, when attempting to play a list of songs (artist, playlist or album) it rapidly shuffles through all of them without playing and then it displays a red square next to songs and won't play them at all. It seems to sync with my MBP but then new playlists I've created don't appear on the iPhone even though iTunes on the MBP has them appearing when I click the "on my iPhone tab. Tried the obvious quit and restart approach. No effect. Does anyone have any ideas?

It's not a hardware problem. The same exact thing just happened to me. My husband reset all settings, not erase all content and settings, after the phone started back up, everything worked like normal again. You just have to redo your settings.
General>Reset>Reset all settings
