IPhone will not turn on, help please!!!
My phone will not turn on! The apple logo comes up for a couple secs then it turns off. It does this even when plugged into wall and computer, any help would be greatly appreciated because I can't get on iTunes to restore it! Thanks!
Try to force your phone into recovery mode. Disconnect it from the USB cord. Turn it off if you can by holding the sleep/wake switch until you see the red slide to off. Press and hold the home button while plugging it into the computer's USB cord. Continue holding the Home button while iPhone starts up. While starting up, you will see the Apple logo. When you see "Connect to iTunes" on the screen, you can release the Home button and iTunes will display the recovery mode message. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808

About two to three hours ago (give or take) I was having issues with connecting/syncing my iPhone 4 to my iTunes on my Laptop, thankfully that problem is solved. Now I am facing a weird issue, my phone stopped working- it will not turn on, almost like it's dead. I tried charging it, thinking that the battery was low and it died. My screen will not turn on help please
I have a Cinema Display 20" wide screen that is connected to my Mac mini but I can not get the monitor to turn on. I haven't put it to use for a little over a year could that be the problem? the display is an older model I believe it's between 2007/2008. My mini is 2009.
If the battery was completely drained the iPad will not respond for some time after connecting it to the charger. Connect the iPad to the charger that came with it and plug that into a good wall outlet. Wait 30 minutes. Then reset the iPad.Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the button and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this. It's like a computer reboot.
If the iPad restarts let it continue to charge until it's battery shows fully charged. If the iPad still does not start Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support. Be sure to back up your device before taking or sending it to Apple. -
I tried resisting my phone it didnt work. Please help? This is the first time it has ever happens and has been doing it for a week. The sound will only play without headphones or speakers is when I'm listening to my ringtone. And my phone won't turn off. It turns off then just turns back on.

I have just recently installed ios6 to my iPad 3 an iPhone 4 my iPhone works fine but my iPad is not working at all I can not get a response from it, it seemed to download an then install but did not reset and turn on and will not turn on HELP!! Withdrawal or what!! Lol

Firstly, try a hard reset. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until the Apple logo appears.
If this doesn't work, try restoring your device. Put it in recovery mode if iTunes doesn't recognise it, and restore it from there. I have linked to instructions below.

I just subscribed to imatch while logged in to iTunes on a mac computer that belongs to someone else. (I was logged in to MY iTunes) my iPhone will not turn on the MATCH function, saying I am no subscribed. I've powered off and on. can anyone help?

I am having the same problem. Itunes reports that it's uploaded all the music etc.
When I turn the match function on, it says "you are not currently subscribed to itunes match".
I have restarted the phone and coputer, logged in & out several times to no avail.

Assuming that the battery isn't empty (and it can take 10 to 15 minutes of charging before it will respond), then have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot.

Sammyhunter lets get you back in action! Has there been any physical/water damage to the device? Try pressing and holding the home and power button together. Once the Apple symbol appears release both buttons. Keep us posted!

My iPhone will not turn on, I was installing the iOS update on 4% battery which i've realised is bad and now my phone won't charge, turn on or even connect to a pc, i've tried pressing the two buttons to try fix it but nothing happens the screen remains black, ive tried charging it from a wall and nothing works at all! Is there anything else I can do?
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

My Iphone will not turn on and it doesnt show the battery charging, what is wrong with it?
Try doing a hard reset by holding down the Home Button and the Sleep/Wake Button. This should either get the iPhone started back up or show you a battery icon. If you see the battery icon, go ahead and charge for about 20 minutes and it should be up and running.
If neither of the two happens; you may need a replacement iPhone. -
