Iphone won't turn on? Help, Please!

Hey guys,
So my phone has been turning on and off all day by itself. I have an Iphone 3g p.s.
I decided to back-up and restore it, and during its restore, the phone shut off and now will not turn back on.
My home button has not worked for awhile, so I am unable to do the hold down + sleep button...
Also, when I plug the phone in to Itunes, it makes the sound, but does not show up that the Iphone is plugged in.
Can anyone help? Or give some advice on what the problem is?
Also, my Iphone was fully charged when doing restore so I don't think it's the battery. Thanks!

i just finished charging my phone then i disconnected it from the charger and then right after that moments after it just crashed and screen went black. so probably you're right, it might be the battery of the software may have crashed.

Do you mean you Created a New Apple ID...
Anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID

Try to force your phone into recovery mode. Disconnect it from the USB cord. Turn it off if you can by holding the sleep/wake switch until you see the red slide to off. Press and hold the home button while plugging it into the computer's USB cord. Continue holding the Home button while iPhone starts up. While starting up, you will see the Apple logo. I clicked on an app and the screen went black. then all fuzzy. then it just stayed fuzzy. why won't it turn on?
Two days earlier, when I clicked on the same app, my ipod went black, then fuzzy, and then it went white. after 5 minutes or so, the ipod showed the apple sign and turned back to normal. I clicked on it just now, and the screen went black, and then fuzzy and stayed fuzzy. no matter what button i push or hold, it won't go back to normal. its just fuzzy.

Try pushing both the home and sleep button in and then it will shut off and restart this might work if not then try to google it.

My Macbook won't turn on (HELP please)

I got a new MacBook Pro recently, and through idiocy and excitement, I forgot to properly shut down my old MacBook whilst using my new macbook pro. I have had the new laptop for about two weeks, and I'd left the previous one on sleep.
I figured the battery had just died, so I left it on charge for a few hours, hoping it would charge enough to turn on.
however I tried to turn it on about two hours later, and it still wouldn't turn on. the battery light has been steadily green. I checked the battery bit on the bottom of the laptop and the apple support bit says that if it flashes one light green for five seconds that it means the battery hasn't charged enough yet. but the charger light hasn't been amber.
what do I do? I really hope I haven't broken my laptop.

Have you tried holding your power button down for at least 10 seconds and letting go?

Help please respond my iphone won't turn on

It's been charging all night last night and all day this morning and you know when it is in the process of turning on and the apple comes up, well every single time after the apple comes up it doesn't turn on normal, the apple just disappears and the entire screen goes black with just a loading circle in the center and it has been doing this for over 12 hours. I've tried to reboot it by holding down the circle button and the top button together and it turns of completely that way and then I turn it back on but it still goes to that black screen with the loading circle. Long story short, my phone won't turn on. Please respond if you know a way to fix this.

Here are steps to get DFU Mode: Open iTunes on computer. Connect iPhone to computer. (some turn off iPhone here, I do not) Hold both home and power buttons for exactly 10 seconds, release power button, keep holding home button until iPhone recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode. Usually takes 10-20 seconds of holding the home button. If the iPhone screen is black (blank) the iPhone is in DFU Mode.

I have a 4s, and I've had that problem, too. I've tried every method mentioned on the boards. If Ellips's suggestion didn't work, try this, and please let me know if it worked:
(I did the following while the phone was connected to my pc...if that makes a difference.)
1. On the phone, go to Music.
2. Click "More."
3. Click "Shared."
4. My phone lists "iPhone" and my iTunes Libary. Try clicking the name of your music library.
5. Wait until the circle makes its loop.
The synch still failed to complete, but all of my music was on my iPhone, again. Whew.

Your post is extremely vague and several months old but hopefully this info can help others seeking a solution. I too had a problem with my iPhone (3gs in my case) not coming back up.
What happened -- I was using it normally and it rebooted and was stuck on the apple for a long time and wouldn't ever get past it. So I tried to reboot it by pressing power + home but it would just reset and never power off, and get stuck every time.
What I did to fix it -- I actually had to just remove the SIM card then reboot the phone. After it came back up I put the SIM card back in. It froze up for a short time after that as the service reactivated. But then it is back to normal now finally. Whew!
