IPhoto for iOS or Adobe Photoshop Express?

Hi! So... My dad is a photographer and he is going to use an iPad loaned by the company he is taking pictures for.
Anyway.... Which app would you recommend for a photographer? As the iPad is going to be loaned out (or he will use my iPad 2) I don't know if it will be an iPad 1, 2, or possibly the new 3 considering the event is in April. I realize Photoshop Express or just the default photos app which does have a few edit tools will have to work if he gets the iPad 1.
Recommendations are welcome!

So what youre saying is the default photos app is better so he should just use that?
For others reading: does the free mobile photoshop (express) work on iPad 1? I know adobe photoshop (touch) requires iPad 2.

Try the firestorm app, it's free. It more powerful than the Adobe Photoshop Ex. app. The one thing I like about it, it allows you to add text captions to a photo. The editing tools are awesome... Check out their video tutorial.

Adobe Photoshop Express Organizer - help manual needed

Please excuse me if I'm posting this request to the wrong forum, but I'm looking for a tutorial on how to use the online Adobe Photoshop Express Organizer, which I access through photoshop.com. I can't locate a tutorial or instructions on it anywhere! Although I've mostly figured out how to use it, I'd like to know the difference between an "Album" and a "Group Album." Also, what's a Shared Album versus a Private one? An answer to these particular questions would be very much appreciated.

Adobe Photoshop Express Organizer - help file?

I've recently started using the online Adobe Photoshop Express Organizer, but I can't seem to find a help file to assist in using it. I think I've figured most of it out, but I don't know what the difference is between "Album" and "Group Album." Has anyone seen a complete help file for Adobe Photoshop Express Organizer which might explain this, plus other questions I may have in the future??

Adobe Photoshop Express is not compatible with Note 4

Hi,
I am unable to install Adobe Photoshop Express on Note 4. I am unable to install the app from play store onto my Note 4. I get a message saying the device isn't compatible with this version. Its an issue that's persisting since October and has not been fixed yet. Could someone please work on the fix for Note 4 and kindly release an updated version. I had been using the app frequently and had bought the noise reduction and premium look filters as well. Please fix this issue ASAP.

Adobe Photoshop Express on Samsung Note 4 crashes..unusable

I noticed this when I first got my Note 4 months ago. So far I have not seen any cure, nor any response from Adobe to address or even acknowledge this problem. It happens every single time making the app completely useless. A true shame as it is by far the best phone app out there in my opinion for editing.
I am really hoping this get resolved soon. It is very common place to take a pic with your DSLR, send it to your phone wirelessly, then do a mild edit with Adobe Photoshop Express on your phone, then post on Facebook or share. Come on Adobe, let's support your customers. I also by the way pay every month for the Adobe Master subscription for my MacPro....

I have tried for a couple of days to uppdate my Adob Photoshop Express as indicated in iTunes Programs without success. iTunes sets up the fetch and then it waits forever. ( 0 kb of 7,5 Mb ).

No I do all my updating from my Macbook Pro as I have a mobile broadband on the iPhone, limited to 512 Mb/month.
But I did try rigtt now on the iPhone and the updating is in progress. Downloading worked and the installation is just finished with success.

How to delete pix/albums in iPhoto for iOS.?

I created two Journals in iPhoto for iOS.
When uploading to the iCloud I constantly run into "Storage almost full" problems. I have already deleted many apps to create space, but iPhoto seems to consistently grow in size (iPad > Settings>General> Usage: 6.8GB for iPhoto), worse yet, when publishing the Journals which are on the iPad it seems that additional space is needed for the publishing process.
I did NOT find a way to delete either Pictures or Albums in the iPhoto for iOS app, nor do I find a way to delete Photos and Camera in Settings, nor (individual or a range of) Photos or Albums in the Photos app. In the Photos tab of the Photos app there is a red Delete button, but this is greyed out; in the Albums tab this Delete button does not appear at all.
Any advice/suggestion/pointer would be highly appreciated. Thanks and cheers from Austria.

Basically, you have to delete the photos the same way you got them onto the iPad in the first place.
In the Photos.app, you should be able to delete photos in the camera roll and in the events that have been uploaded using the camera connection kit, but no other.
Any synced photo can only be deleted by syncing again.
For Photos that have been edited, you need to undo all edits, before you can delete them, otherwise the delete button will not be active.
Albums created by tagging cannot be deleted, they are created automatic. You delete these albums by removing the tags from the photos. Then the album will vanish.

Why do videos show up in photos and why can't i export them from iPhoto for iOS

Somehow, I just don't get it:
If I take a picture on my iPhone 5s, it is saved to 'Pictues' ... sound reasonable.
If I take a video on the same device, it is saved to 'Pictures' ... that's where it gets messy.
If I receive a video on an app like e.g. WhatsApp ... it also get's stored in ... guess what ... 'Pictures'!
Now that's a little bit confusing.
Generally I would like to keep these different types of media (still pictures vs. moving images) in separate spaces, but it seems like that is not possible out of the box, because if go ahead and tab on that share-button in iOS 7 i get prompted to share the videos to various installed apps like e.g. YouTube, Vimeo, Twitter - you name it.
It seems like there is no way to export videos from 'Pictures' to 'Videos', even if you use iPhoto for iOS in the gap.
The only ways (that I found) to get what I want are way to circumstantial:
Either use iPhoto for the Mac to import videos from the iCloud Photostream to the Mac and from there via "Show in Finder" re-import to iTunes' 'Videos'
or use iExplorer (a third party application for the Mac) and export the videos from the iPhone to a temp-folder and from there re-import with iTunes to 'Videos'.
Why isn't there just a simple share-sheet or export label called 'Export to Videos'.
Why doesn't it just work?
Am I missing out on something?
Is there an easier way to complete this relatively simple task?

Hi. My camera is a Canon 600D. And yes my videos are stored in the Aperture library and they are not referenced. Even then I tried to select all the videos in Aperture and clicked 'consolidate masters' and there was a messge that said all 'none of the files are referenced',... so they didn't need consolidating.
I also tried preferences> export> external video editor > choose > iMovie. And then right click on the video to edit with imovie. Even then the video didn't show up in iMovie. It seems like the only option for me is to import the videos directly to iMovie which means there will be two versions of the same file stored in my computer eating up space.
APPLE. What are you doing?
