IPod Calendar events 1 hour off

Recently all the calendar events on my iPod's calendar are an hour before all the events in iCal. I've tried replacing all the calendars on the iPod, but the problem persists. Any ideas?

I had the same problem. Turns out under Settings/Mail, Contacts, Calendars, there is an additional setting for "time zone support." Change the Time Zone there to wherever you currently are (mine was set to Cupertino.)

  • Calendar Events Dropping off from iPhone 4

I have couple of users in my organization which are heavy calendar users. Occasionally meeting will disappear from there iPhone 4 or iPad. Temporary fix is to turn the calendar off and delete the events and turn back on to re-sync. This option will work for a few days/week and again same issue will appear. I have made sure that all the devices have the most recent IOS.
I can see the meeting on there Outlook Calendar (Outlook 2010/2011). Outlook versions are also upto date. Has anyone seen this issue. Apple please help!!
    Thanks

    Greetings VickiEngland,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that some of your older events are being removed from your iPhone calendar. There is a setting on your iPhone that I would suggest changing to help alleviate this problem. Please follow the instructions located in the attached article.
Get help using iCloud Calendar - Apple Support
    Change your sync settings
Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Under Calendars, tap Sync. If Sync is set to All Events, set it to a specific timeframe, such as Events 1 Month Back. If it's already set to a specific duration, set it to All Events.
    Tap the Home button.
Wait several minutes. Open Calendar, tap Calendars, and pull down to refresh.
    Cheers,
    Joe

  • Events on iPod calendar off by 1 hour

I just started syncing my iCal to my 5G iPod. All the events on the iPod calendar show up one hour early. I verified my iPod time is set to Pacific timezone & that Daylight Savings Time is off. I verified my computer time is set to PST. I tried setting iCal Timezone support on & off.
I've reviewed the iPod & iCal support pages and searched the earlier forum postings here and on iCal forums with help.
    Any suggestions?
    Thank you,
    Bill Weller

I also had success using this method, from above:
On iPhone, go to Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Scroll way down to Time Zone Support. Note that it's listed as GMT-4. Turn slide button to OFF, then back to ON. Note that it automatically goes to Washington, DC (GMT-5).
    Calendar appointment times now correct.
Time on the iPhone updated automatically for daylight savings, but the Time Zone Support function didn't make the one-hour shift; they ended up out by an hour from one another. Forcing Time Zone Support to refresh its settings was all that was needed.

  • The calendar events and alarms are off by 3 hours since updating to iOS 4.3

I updated to iOS 4.3 last night, and I have a problem where my Calendar times have been offset by 3 hours.
It states that I have an event that on Google Calendar that is set at 12 PM - 9 PM today, however when I view my iPhone calendar that the event goes from 9 AM - 6 PM.
In addition, the alarm for the event has been offset 3 hours AFTER the event. My alarm, which is set ten minutes before the event, went off at 2:50 PM.
Any thoughts? I have the event set to EST in Google Calendar, and the time is correct in Google Calendar.

Hi and welcome to Apple Discussions, Darby.
Is the Time Zone set correctly on your iPhone? Look in Settings, Mail, Contacts, Calendars. Scroll down and make sure the Time Zone is set to the correct Time Zone.
If thats not it, this Apple document might help -> http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2339.

  • Calendar events off by 1 hour on iPhone and iPad

Since Sydney went into daylight savings time this week, events entered on my Mac appear 1 hour later on my iPhone, and events entered on my iPhone appear 1 hour earlier on my Mac.
Clock on Mac and iPhone both agree on the time.
Time zone on Mac (System Preferences>Date & Time) set to automatic timezone which is correctly displayed as Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT).
Time zone on iPhone (Settings>general>Date & Time) set to auto and currently displays "Sydney".
Time zone support on iPhone (Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars) set to 'on' and time zone displayed as "Sydney"
Interestingly, the same problem also affects my iPad, and affects both my iCloud calendar events and my Google Calendar events.
Any ideas about what I should do?
    Thanks,
    - alan

  • Calendar Events between iCal and iCloud keep shifting by 1 hour

I have iCal and my calendar on iCloud synced up...however recently i have been noticing that my appointments on one or the other of the calendars are all off by an hour. As best I can figure (after poking around in icloud time zone settings) is that iCloud was not on daylight saving time for the Central time zone...I have changed the setting, but all my appointments are still off by an hour in iCloud...should they have adjusted automatically when i changed the time zone? Am I missing some better time zone calendaring functionality? It seems like this shouldnt be this difficult or persistent of a problem.
Related, there doesnt appear to be a "daylight" option for the timezones in iCloud, just a Standard and one missing Standard, e.g. Chicaog Time vs Chicago Standard Time. My assumption is that WITHOUT Standard is the equivalent of Daylight...can anyone confirm that?
I am getting really tired of constantly revising my appointments (if i change them to be correct (on icloud, then they are wrong on my Mac when i get home at the end of the day)...is there a way to get the time zones and times to line up with the time programmed on my Mac? Right now i have no faith that the times on my calendar events are at all accurate and have to keep the appt details in the notes (e.g. starts at 2pm) just so i can keep track in spite of the times, but that is hardly efficient or logical with a calendar tool.

  • Sync of iCal to Calendar in iPhone off by 1 hour

This problem has just come up in a 2 week old iPhone 3GS. When I enter new events in iCal and sync with iPhone, the times are one hour later in Calendar. Appears to match the advance in 1 hour of Daylight Savings Time from Nov. - March. So, entering event on Dec. 1 at 8 AM in iCal yields 9 AM event in Calendar. Help!

I had the same problem of a 1 hour offset between events on iCal/MobileMe calendars and the iPhone Cal. iCal and MobileMe calendars were right with respect to each other but the iPhone would show that event as an hour later.
I seem to have solved this issue by the following:
Go to iPhone Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Calendars>Time Zone Support
Change Time Zone Support selector to "OFF" then back to "ON".
    Exit Settings
    NB: NOT Settings>General>Date & Time
My Time Zone Support selector was "on", however Time Zone showed Etc/GMT -4
When I selected Time Zone Support to "off" and then back to "on", Time Zone changed to show "New York" (my local area). Calendar events then displayed the same times as iCal/MobileMe.

  • IPhone calendar is two hours off from mac calendar

events on iphone are two hours earlier than events on mac calendar even after syncing

How bizarre. Mine is doing this too, except it's 3 hours off. I showed up to work 3 hours early because of this. Time zones are the same on my computer and my phone. I'm not sure what the deal is.

  • Ical events 3 hours off using isync w/ Palm Tungsten T3

Hello there, I've recently started having trouble syncing my mac with my Tungsten T3. All of my ical scheduled events - present, future and even past - have jumped ahead by three hours.
The problem began after I installed Leopard 10.5. I've since reverted back to Tiger 10.4 because of several compatibility problems. But, now all of my events are 3 hours off and some of my tasks aren't syncing to my handheld and vice versa. I've install and updated the daylight savings time update from palm.com and reset my Tungsten T3 several times but I'm still have the same problem after a sync.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks, Janeen

After looking more closely at the .ics files exported by Oracle Calendar I see that events are exported as if they were GMT; iCal is, indeed, showing the appointments at the correct local time. This makes my first two questions irrelevant.
However, question #3 still remains: why or how does the original GMT stamp persist after manually setting an event's time zone to local time, "America/Denver"?

  • Syncing Calendar Events running 1 hour behind

Can anyone please help me to fix this problem. I recently did a clean zeros erase install of Leopard and ever since my calendar events are sounding off one hour late... which has gotten me into trouble with meetings. I know it's something to do with either Daylight saving or something in my prefs on my Mac or on the iPhone. Can someone please help me sort this out.
    Regards,
    Anthony

I found this solution on another discussion (http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=8399991&#8399991) It worked for me!
On my iPhone I went to Settings, Mail/Contacts/Calendars, All the way at the bottom is a selection for Time Zone Support, it was still listed as GMT-4 which would be correct for DST. I turned Time Zone Support off and then back on again and it changed to Washington, DC (GMT-5). All of the items on my Calendar were then correct.

  • Calendar timeline one hour off

In iOS 5 on an iPad 2, using calendar after converting to Eastern Standard Time using the Week View, the Timeline is one hour off (iCal didn't register the time change). When the time is 3:00 EST, the Timeline registers 4:00 pm EST.

I had the same issue - not with Yahoo but Apple's own iCal and MobileMe.
    This worked for me:
Go to iPhone Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Calendars>Time Zone Support
Change Time Zone Support selector to "OFF" then back to "ON".
    Exit Settings
    NB: NOT Settings>General>Date & Time
My Time Zone Support selector was "on", however Time Zone showed Etc/GMT -4
When I selected Time Zone Support to "off" and then back to "on", Time Zone changed to show "New York" (my local area). Calendar events then displayed the same times as iCal/MobileMe.

  • Calendar events sent from iPhone goes into Outlook 1 hour late

    Dear all,
    I've got a strange problem:
    - when I send out an invitation (calendar event) from my iPhone to other people - they get my appointment in Outlook 1 hour late to what I set initially
    - the same appointment is reflected in my outlook on time I set it on my iPhone - correct (it's all others see it 1 hour late in their outlook calendars)
I was checking time zone settings in both - my Outlook and my iPhone (in Clock settings and in Calendar settings) and they are identical
I did a hard re-set of my iPhone, but it did not helped.
When someone sends a meeting request to me- I see it correctly in my Outlook and iPhone calendar. So the issue appears only when I create and send out event from my iPhone.
This issue drives me crazy and I'm out of any ideas on how to fix it.
    Please give a good advise!
    Alexey (Moscow)

I'm actually having a similar issue with ical. Previously, I could put a URL into the field on ical and it would transfer to my phone. This no longer works anymore and I'm using all up to date apple products. Perhaps they mistakingly took this feature off of the Iphone? My notes seem to transfer over though. Not sure if that's exclusively an Outlook thing or not...

All of my calendar events have gotten repeated (double entered) on my Touch.  They are still right on my MacBook.  How do I get the doubling off the Touch?

For everything else (including purchases) there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod Touch or iPhone. You'll find that they have varying degrees of functionality and some will transfer data (such as playcounts and ratings), movies, videos, photos, podcasts and games as well.

  • WebOS Calendar - one meeting 1 hour off

I am using a Palm Pixi and have not had it long enough to go thru a daylight savings time change with it yet.  When I sync'd up my Outlook calendar on the Pixi, everything seemed fine at first.  Now I have one meeting that my reminder goes off 1 hour 15 minutes before the meeting.  The meeting is a recurring meeting at 9 AM weekdays (same time zone as me) and displays that way in my calendar, both in Outlook and on my Pixi.  The alarm is set at 15 minutes.
It is possible that this meeting was created before DST took affect, but this is the only meeting on my calendar to be off by an hour.  All of my other meetings (and there are many of them, including recurring meetings) are right on time.  Any ideas?
