IPod Nano 6th Generation won't xync Podcasts

Hi
I am in iTunes and selected the Podcasts I wanted to sync on my new iPod Nano.
After syncing, the Nano says there are no podcasts.
Any advice? Thanks.

When you connect your ipod, on itunes on the right side tool bar it says devices.click on your ipod and a summary should come up, click on the podcast tab and select the "sync" option then you could choose which ones to sync.
If it can't help you,you also refer this [iPod Transfer Reviews|http://www.softwarebbs.com/wiki/IPodTransfer_SoftwareReviews],which lists some tools to work out iPod to computer.
Cheers.

  • Since I updated to itunes 11, my ipod nano 6th generation won't update?

Since I updated to itunes 11, my ipod nano 6th generation won't update?
I wanted to add in my Christmas playlists and most recent purchases, when it wouldn't get past syncing the second song a couple of times, I tried restore and lost everything because it still wouldn't sync. Then I tried to sync to my old computer which isn't itunes 11, and doesn't have my latest songs on it. My ipod did sync then though, so it seems to be a conflict between my version of ipod nano and the latest version of iTunes??????
Has anyone had the same problem? is there a solution??

My ipod (nano, 6th generation) won't sync to a new computer with different stuff on it. Itunes on the new computer doesn't give the usual warning that you are about to lose all your existing stuff and the ipod *appears* to sync but when it's done it still has the stuff from the other computer on it. What to do?

  • IPod Nano 6th generation won't sync with iTunes.

I replaced the battery in my iPod Nano 6th generation and now it won't sync with iTunes. It shows in the list as iPod recognises that it is in recovery mode, so advises to restore. Press the restore button and after a time a message says can't find the iPod

do you ever unplug your iPod without ejecting it first?

  • Ipod nano 6th generation won't shuffle entire library when connected to car

    Hello,
I have been connecting my ipod nano 6th generation to my car (a Citroen DS3) using the usb cable. The problem I have is that the music defaults to playing alphabetically through the artists and will not allow me to shuffle my entire music library. I can see my library, arranged by artist, on my cars display and can select which artist I want to listen to, but the car itself will only allow me to shuffle songs for the artist that is currently playing and not the entire library. I cannot control the music that is playing via the ipod itself as it locks itself as it is being used as an accessory.
    Has anybody got any ideas?
    Many thanks,
    Abi

Thanks, I have to call back 800 692-7752 - the hours are 6AM - 6PM Pacific Time. The recorded message reccommends the site https://expresslane.apple.com  - you need your device serial number for this.  It's a shame Apple placed this number under the tiny clip on the 6th Generation Nano.  (!!!)
Looks like I'll be waiting for the help line to open  :/

  • IPod Nano 6th Generation Won't Eject

iTunes recognizes my new iPod Nano (6th Generation) and I can add music, playlists, etc.  When I go to eject (both through iTunes or through Finder/desktop), the eject process seems to freeze and the iPod is not completely ejected.  Furthermore, I have tried to restore the iPod through iTunes and the disk will just spin after decompressing the iPod software package.  I have also tried reinstalling iTunes and still have the same issue.  I'm looking for any suggestions on how to address.
    Thanks.

Both itunes and ipod flash "sync in progress", then it stops and says sync complete, but no music was transfered. I restored the ipod thinking that was the issue, but it continues. I unchecked manually managing the music and in devices i unchecked "stop ipod from automatically syncing". What is wrong?

  • New iPod nano 6th generation won't charge.

I just bought a new ipod nano 6th generation multi-touch. I opened it and it had no charge and a black screen, no surprise I assumed it just has no juice in it. I plugged it into my macbook pro via the USB cord included and after leaving it attached for over 3 hours it still has yet to charge or offer me more than a black screen. Is there any way to remedy this? Am I doing something wrong? Is it just simply dead and I need to return it for another? I have a half marathon to run in a week and I'd like to know soon so I can have it for the race x.x

If it does not get enough juice from the USB port, it will not charge.
You should NOT connect it to a USB hub. Connect it directly to the computer. If you use a desktop computer, use one of the ports on the back, not one on the front, which tend to be lower power.
You say you are using a macbook, which tend to be better about power. Make sure you don't have any settings that turn off power to the usb ports when the computer goes to sleep. Check your power settings in the settings screen.

  • IPod nano 6th generation won't restore

my iPod nano 6th gen, is locked in some kind of restore loop.  It says it's restarting after the restore, and after the iPod screen goes from do not disconnect to the Apple logo temporarily, the screen goes back to the restore screen, and iTunes says it needs to be restored.  What do I do now?

We had to replace ours and it seems to have fixed the issue, so unfortunately, it does sound like a hardware issue.  The thing that ***** the most is that I had the first one engraved for my wife as a "birth" gift, and when you replace something, they don't give you the option to get the replacement engraved.

I have an iPod nano 6th generation and I downloaded 3 music videos but they won't play on my iPod. They only play on my laptop/iTunes. How can I get it to work? I know that my iPod should take music videos because there is a pre-made playlist called "Music videos". Can anyone help me please????

You can sync the music videos, but they won't play on your 6G Nano, because it does not support video playback. Sorry.

  • My iPod nano 4th generation won't download newer podcasts from iTunes

my ipod nano 4th generation won't download newer podcasts from itunes

If you use automatic syncing, select the iPod in iTunes.  There is a row of "tabs" (starting with Summary).  Click on Podcasts there.  This is the Podcasts tab, where you tell iTunes how to sync podcasts.
Sync Podcasts is checkmarked for automatic syncing.  Below that, set up the Podcasts tab to sync podcasts as desired.  For example, you can set it to Automatically include all unplayed episodes of selected podcasts.  The "all unplayed" option gets new podcasts episodes to sync automatically. Select the podcasts below.
When you click Apply, your selection on the Podcasts tab (and the other tabs...  Music, Books, etc.) sync to the iPod.  If the iPod was NOT previously set to use automatic syncing, its existing content is replaced.

  • The volume increase button is stuck on my iPod nano (6th Generation) and I can't turn the volume up. Is there a way to fix it?

I have the iPod nano 6th generation, and I have had it since Christmas 2011 so it isn't that old; recently I went to listen to my music and found that the volume increase button is stuck (basically it's like when you press the volume button down to increase the volume, except it is stuck down like that and won't come back up) but it was only stuck about 3/4 of the way down. For about a week this was ok, I just had to press the button harder to make it go down and increase the volume, but now it won't increase the volume at all and it feels and looks as though the button is stuck the whole way in, even when I press the button with some force. I was wondering if anyone knew how I could fix it or if I need to take it to an apple store for them to fix it?!
Sorry if the way I have explained the problem is confusing, it's difficult to explain but it's extremely frustrating.

This happened to me a few weeks ago.  Instead of taking it to the Apple store and paying $ the 99 service charge ( I did give Apple 139.00 13 months ago! for this ipod), I saturated the end of a q-tip w/ WD 40 and carfefully rubbed around the perimeter of the power button.  I waited a half hour and then cleaned of the excess WD 40.  This unstuck my power button.  I guess the WD 40 dissovled all the dirt under and around (also the consrtuction of the buttons is done w/ double sided tape-- maybe a design issue) the button.  A friend tried isopropyl alcohol w/ great results.  Try this before you give Appple any more $$ or get a new ipod.  It's been 6 wks. and my button functions perfectly,

  • My ipod nano 6th generation will not turn on.

My iPod nano (6th generation) will not turn on. I have charged it (attached to my computer) for 30 minutes. I have tried to reset it (held down Wake and Volume Down for 8 seconds)- no response. I have factory restored it (through iTunes)- no response. It shows up as connected to my computer and will sync in iTunes, but the display on the iPod will not turn on. Any ideas?

    Hey s.mccarter2010,
Thanks for the question. After reviewing your post, it sounds like you have tried a lot of things and the iPod still will not turn on. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help you resolve or isolate the issue.
    iPod won't turn on
If you have tried the solutions above and iPod still won't turn on, check the following:
Make sure iPod is the only device in your FireWire or USB chain. Disconnect everything but the mouse, keyboard, and your iPod, then see if it will turn on.
Make sure you are using the FireWire or USB cable that came with your iPod, and that the cable is in good condition.
Try connecting iPod to the built-in port of a different computer to see if that works. Note: If using a portable computer, make sure it is plugged in to a power source and that the lid or display is open. If the lid is closed the computer may go into either standby, sleep, or hibernation mode and iPod will not charge properly.
If you still can't turn iPod on after performing these steps, it may need to be repaired. You can arrange for repair at the iPod Service Website.

    Have a nice day,
    Mario
