Ipod touch 3rd generation will connect to my wifi for a few seconds and then nothing will load. help please?

I have an ipod touch 3rd generation 64gb and it has iOS 5.1.1 and it will connect to my WiFi for a few seconds and then nothing will load. It says I have full connection bbut nothing works. I have 2nd generation ipod and it connects fine. Along with my laptop and xbox 360. I have tried downgrading it and restoring it from itunes. I also tried forgetting the network and inputting it myself but it sti does the same thing. I even tried resetting my wireless modem but it still didnt make a change. I really could use some help. I can't call apple cause im no longer under warranty.

Reset the iPod and connect to its syncing computer. It it shows in iTunes restore the iPod.
Next see if placing the iPod in recovery mod will allow iTunes t see the iPod so you can restore the iPod. For recovery mode see:

I can understand this with videos you are streaming, i.e. maybe you have a slow data connection.
Videos on your phone should not do this. Try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.

I just updated and downloaded the new version of iTunes. I then downloaded some music and now the music won't play on my iPod or in my iTunes. The tracks play for a few seconds and then skip to the next track

It'll play about 30 seconds of the song and then skip automatically to the next song. I restarted the iPod. I restored it. It still didn't work. I'm assuming the tracks that won't play copy/are displayed with exclamation marks. This happens if the files are no longer where iTunes expects to find them. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, or that the drive it lives on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout,or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions.
Alternatively, as long as you can find a location holding the missing files, then you should be able to use my FindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes .

But that requires the computer to see the ipod. I am having the same problem and I keep being told to restore it, but you have to either get the ipod to turn on or have the computer see it in order to so that. Ok I think it's a problem with my router. I went to my cousin's house and the Wi-Fi worked there perfectly. I was even able to download many apps. So I guess my router probably can't take in more connections. Oh well thanks anyway.

Here is the problem: The tab where you go to sync music to your iPod and shows the list of artists and songs you want to sync to the iPod, the tab I can get to but the list of songs and artists does not show up and the only way I can sync music to my iPod is to basically wipe my iPod and start from scratch. Obviously, I do not want to do that because I do not have all the songs in my library that I have on my iPod. I have uninstalled iTunes and then re-installed it, but it did not work and I do not know what else to do. I would really appreciate helpful guidance to get it fixed if it can be fixed. I figured out how to fix the flashing yellow screen problem that I've been having on my MBP! Yessssss!!!
I found this super handy website with the golden answer: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1379
I followed the instructions on this page and here's what I did:
Resetting NVRAM / PRAM
Shut down your Mac.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command (⌘), Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.
I went through the 6 steps above twice, just to make sure I got rid of whatever stuff was holding up my bootup process. Since I did that, my MBP boots up just like normal. No flashing yellow screen anymore!!

I cannot watch any TV shows on Itunes. The episode will play for a few seconds and then freeze and skip forward randomly. I have a Windows 7 PC and I didn't have problems before the Itunes 11 update. Any ideas?

After updating to ITunes 11 a while back, I am no longer able to watch TV shows on my laptop. If I try to watch an episode, it freezes and then skips forward randomly. I have a Windows 7 laptop and I didn't have any problems before ITunes 11.

I don't use a graphics card, I use on board graphics as my computer case is too small to fit a graphics card inside.
There are no effects applied to the clip, only one layer of video and 1 layer of audio (both from the same file). The video is in MP4 format at 720p.
Before I rendered the sequence, I had a yellow bar above the sequence. Also, I imported the same clip into CC Standard and it played fine (also had a yellow bar) with no lag.
I think I've fixed the issue now as rendering the sequence made the video play smoothly with no apparent issues.
If any other clips have lag or any other problems in CC 2014, I'll just import them into CC standard and see if that works.

The most current iOS for iPod 3rd generation is iOS 5.1.1. It can not be upgraded any further.

My ipod needs to be restored but it only stays on the "connect to itunes" for approximately 20 seconds and then turns black as if it is turned off.

So a couple of months ago, I had to restore my new IPOD 5 TOUCH because i had forgotten the password and disabled it, so as you can imagine I am quite familiar with restoring it.
(The last time I had synced it was the only time that I had to restore it when I first got it when I had disabled it)
This morning I wanted to sync my ipod. So I plugged my ipod into my WINDOWS computer and waited for itunes to open, and it did just like it is supposed to. It then said itunes needed the latest update so i continued with updating it. Itunes updated, but then said that my ipod needed the latest software. I said "ok update" and thats when itunes made my ipod into DFU mode without me even touching it.
SOOOO as you can imagine I was quite upset. I then have realized that because Itunes had moved it into DFU mode on its own, I could not manually get my ipod out of DFU mode so the only thing i was left to do was go ahead and restore it. (correct me if Im wrong)
My huge issue right now is that my ipod NEEDS to be restored, but it only stays on the "connect to itunes" screen for approximatley 20 seconds and then turns black as if it has been turned off. When I plug it into my computer and turn it on to the "connect to itunes" mode, it does open it in itunes and starts "extracting sofftware" but then when it turns black after 20 seconds, it closes out because my computer thinks it has turned off.
I have tried charging it, and nothing has progressed. Im not sure if anything can be done for it right now, or if I could bring it to an apple store to fix it... it's brand new about 3 months old.
HELP and some advice would be greatly appreciated !

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Iphone 4 says "connecting..." for a few seconds then goes straight to "Connection lost"

Just yesterday it was working fine, but this morning facetime has been not connecting.
It connects for a few seconds, and then it goes straight to Connection Lost.
i have tried calling the person a bunch of times and it does the same thing. They have done the same, and apparently their iphone is doing the same thing, too.
Is there something wrong inside my phone? I/m sure its my phone because my connection is full and working for every other app. is there any other method i can do? i have tried resetting my phone, wifi, and my facetime. Please help!

If not this:
iOS: Wi-Fi or Bluetooth settings grayed out or dim
One user reported that placing the iPod in the freezer fixed the problem.

A trick that works frequently with iPhones:
Settings > AirPlane Mode ON, Do Not Disturb ON
Power down and wait 5-10 minutes
Power up
Settings > AirPlane Mode OFF, Do Not Disturb OFF
If not successful, an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is usually in order.

Then:
Does the iOS device connect to other networks? See other networks? If yes that tends to indicate a problem with your network.
Does the iOS device see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Ipod Touch (3rd generation) connection to a TV

Can anyone tell me how to connect my Ipod Touch (3rd generation) model A1318 to a TV to display YouTube and Video?
The Apple Store have advised me that they don't have a cable that will do this but to use a third party one with third party software from Itunes.

There is no special software. You just need apps that support TV out. Just not that TV out does not mirror the iPod's screen.
You do not need a dock, just the cable. From the link I provided:
A dock can be a welcome addition if you're going to keep your cables connected to the TV. The Apple Universal Dock includes an Apple Remote so you can pause and adjust the volume from a distance
