Is a Samsung TX-P2734 TV compatible with AppleTV?

Is the Samsung TV model # TX-P2734 compatible with appleTV system? The online appleTV manual lists the TV picture quality (Enhanced definition or Hi-Def) and the resolution qualities that it is compatible with, but the Samsung TV manual I have does not list the TV's resolution or picture quality.

Thank you to AC for finding the correct TV on Line. And Thank you Jules for your reply. I went and bought the appleTV - the black one - anyway (figuring I'll work it out somehow. Even if I have to buy a new TV. This about doing apple FaceTime with my granddaughter.) and am now trying to route it through my Sony "Digital Audio/Video Control Center" multi-channel AV receiver model #STR-K900. The AppleTV transmitter has an HDMI port and an Optical Audio port. The Sony AV receiver has 2 HDMI input ports. I have tried the appleTv HDMI in both AV ports but am just getting a blue screen on my TV (telling me there is no input signal). Does the appleTv have to be connected directly into a TV rather than be routed through the AV receiver?

  • Is Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 compatible with ADE?

I installed ADE on my laptop, but when I connect my SGT7 to the laptop, the button for this device doesn't appear in ADE.
I can't find the device in the supported devices list, so I assume the Tab is not compatible.  If so, why not?
What can I do to bypass ADE, and still import my eBooks (In Dutch) in my SGT7.
Thanks in advance for any help

There are two seperate questions here.
1.) What does Adobe Digital Editions directly support by showing the device in the device list and allow for easy transfering content back and forth.
2.) Where can I read content that I purchased (or borrwed from a Library) that is using the Adobe ebook DRM.
Adobe's supported device list mostly just covers the first type of device, but there is some of the second type - and it really doesn't make the distinction between the two.
The Galaxy Tab ( and almost all Android device with access to the Google Marketplace) fall into the second category.  You will need to get a copy of software built using the Adobe Reader Mobile SDK (that is the guts of Adobe Digital Editions) that allows you to add in your own content such as Aldiko (or later this year, hopefully, Bluefire Reader).  For getting the content on the device and at a place where it can be read by the application, you need to follow the direction from the producer of that application.  Just make absolutely sure that before you begin that the content you have purchased/borrowed is associated with an AdobeID - by making sure that you have AUTHORIZED Digital Editions with you AdobeID - and that you haven't done it anonymously
    Good Luck.

  • AppleTV compatible with a 5Ghz network?

Up until a few days ago I had no problems with my Apple TV (2nd gen). Then I switched my network from 2.4 Ghz to 5 Ghz. Apple TV easily connects to the new network, showing signal strength as "strong".
Pushing content from my computer (iTunes) or from my iPhone to Apple TV works. But not the other way around: when I try to connect to my computer (iTunes) from AppleTV, it either gives me an error message that it can't find it or just simply jumps back to the home screen.
I've tried restarting AppleTV, the router and my computer. So far no luck. 5Ghz is supposed to be compatible with AppleTV I thought, and yet....? Any ideas please?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
5 GHz does work, but is often not what many users expect. There is less chance of interference issues but the distance over which it works is significantly less and is easily blocked. It may help in some circumstances but may work less well in others.

10.7's phone support may be different from 10.6.  Are you running 10.6 or 10.7?  You posted to the 10.6 forum, yet your signature says you have 10.7.2.     Plus you quoted the 10.6 article.

  • How to produce a HD video compatible with a Samsung Smart TV

Using Compressor I need to produce a HD video compatible with an Smart Samsung TV.
I have tried many formats, but no one is readable. Could you help ?
    Celes

I did it with FCPX as mp4 without compressor.  I put it on a USB key and it was possible to see it on my Samsung connecting the key to a USB port of the TV.
I have not the video with me now and cannot give you more info about the exact codec. For sure it was taken with an Olympus camera at 1080p and edited with european standards. The Samsung was bought in Germany.
Nothing to do with your question but only as a tip: Samsung TV has a proprietary Formatting for external HD to be used for recording. They have to be formatted by the TV and any video you record on this HD from the TV can be seen only with the same TV set.  I found no way to edit or copy the recordings even to make a private backup.
For this reason I prefer to use an external receiver (Clarketech) to be free to edit the recordings.

i'm trying to open samsung pc studio and it givesme an error message and windows then tells me my flash player is incompatible with my system...this after i've downloaded the flash player im told is compatible with my system

In general, when desktop software is using Flash Player, it's because they're embedding an Internet Explorer window in the application.  If you don't have Flash Player for Internet Explorer (aka. the ActiveX Flash Player) installed, then the desktop application isn't going to work.
    So, fire up Internet Explorer
    Go here: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
Follow the prompts, and then re-launch the application after you've completed the installation in IE.  Hopefully that sorts it out for you.

  • Is Photoshop Touch compatible with Samsung Galaxy Note?

This is THE app I've been waiting for!
And first on Android - very chuffed, because I got my 1st Android phone days ago - the Galaxy Samsung Note - the size of which makes it super ideal for this kind of app!
However, it says on Android Market that Adobe Photoshop Touch is not compatible with this phone.
Can someone please confirm this? Or can Adobe let us know when it will be compatible?
    Thanks !

    Hi David,
I just checked it out: Photoshop Touch is still unavailable on GooglePlay-Store; it still tells me that my Galaxy Note GT-N7000 is not compatible.
    But:
Amazon App Store allows to download Photoshop Touch on Galaxy Note GT-N7000 yet !!! I bought PS Touch in this moment    I AM SOOOOOO HAPPYY !!!!
Definitely creating a 1920x1080 px layer and brushing on it, is not that fast as it is on my Mac ... but that was not the point It really works fine, althought the display is a little bit small for that stuff
Biggest thanks for the Galaxy Note support   and hate on GooglePlay
If anyone from Germany has problems putting Amazon App Store to German, contact me. I was fighting against some issues for more than 1 and a half hour Oo
So good night everbody and tomorrow will be a wonderful photoshopping day
PS: Just found some issues ... for example the preferences. If you clikc on preferences, there are some values to change (for example under "stylus"), but there is no text, what this value changes

  • Is Samsung Galaxy 4 compatible with iMac and other Apple products?

Is Samsung Galaxy 4 compatible with iMac and other Apple products?

Yes, the s4 is compatible with music and photo transfers between your imac.  I don't have experience with the cloud, but it should be the exact same thing.
Now, there will be a few differences between how you get the files onto said device.  With the iPhone, you may be able to do it wirelessly, but with the s4 you will have to plug it in.
The s4 will not work with iLife or iLife applications either.  However, bigger screen, more customizable ui and experience with samsung phones personally, I would recommend the s4 over the iPhone 5.
