Is Acrobat 7.0 Pro eligible for a free upgrade to Acrobat XI Pro?

There are no free upgrades between versions. The updates are free, but not the upgrades.

I recently purchased a copy of Lion, will I be eligible for a free upgrade of Mountain Lion?

    no, sorry.
However, Lion has some great features in and of itself!
you will have to purchase it for 20 dollars in the app store (USA price) to upgrade to ML, the redemption codes that you may be reacting to are for people who recently purchased a computer and were told that they would be able to receive a free download of ML when it is released to make sure their computers are up to date.
This allows apple to release the hardware before the latest software, but still offer the latest software for free, because they're cool like that .
    I hope this helps

  • I was informed that my data plan was eligible for a free upgrade from 250mb to 750mb and told the rep to do so. but it was never done. I am being charged for overage. What do I do?

I called in to do a temp upgrade on my data and was told by the rep that my account was eligible for a free upgrade. I said okay, but it never happened and now I am being charged for an overage. When I check my plan specifics I see that my data is set to the old amount, I will not pay what I don't owe. Now I am having trouble contacting anyone to help resolve this issue.

        Dusty4691,
This is a stumper! As MrHelper stated, we do not have a 750MB plan so I'm curious as to what that offer was. How much data did you end up using for the month and how much were you charged in overages?

  • I bought Lightroom 5 as part of bundle with a printer on April 24. Am I eligible for a free upgrade to Lightroom 6?

According to this page, I should be eligible but before I bother submitting a request, does it apply to Lightroom CDs bundled with printers?
Do I qualify for a free upgrade?

    from that page:
    You have a qualifying product
These products don't qualify for complimentary upgrades:
Products purchased through the Mac App Store
Second-hand purchases, including software received through a transfer of license
Tutorial DVDs, trials, tryouts, betas, Not For Retail (NFR), and bundled OEM versions
The last one is the only one I can see that might be at issue.

  • How can I find out if I am eligible for the free upgrade?

I have a current model MB Air, bought in January this year. How can I find out if I am entitled to the free Lion upgrade? I had a runt around the Lion app store page but couldn't find anything.
    Thanks in advance
    SR

The only way to get it free that I know of is that you have to have bought a new Mac on or after June 6th, not January..... so it seems you'll need to pay for it.

  • Elligibility for a free upgrade to LR5

    Hi,
I am planning to purchase Lightroom. If I purchase it now, will I be elligible for a free upgrade to version 5.0, as stated in Post Announcement Upgrade Policy?
    http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/upgrade-policy-product-announcement.html
    Thanks
    Piotr

    We don't know.
In the past, Lightroom users who bought a Lightroom 30 days before the next version was released were eligible for the free upgrade.
Since we don't know when Lightroom 5 will be released, we can't say if you'd get the free upgrade or not. (And we also don't know if Adobe will announce the same free upgrade policy as it had for past releases)

  • Device is no longer eligible for a free Icloud account

This Ipad has been passed down by 2 others, and now person 3 can't set up an Icloud account because "This device is no longer eligible for a free Icloud account". How do I go about this?

If I create one at https://appleid.apple.com/account, would that work when I try to sign in?

  • Am I eligible for an early upgrade?

I bought a Droid Eris some time last year.  It was right before the Droid X came out.  I have 9 months left until I can upgrade, so I am wondering if I can upgrade early.  Ever since the 2.1 Android OS update, my Eris has been messing up horribly.  It freezes up randomly, my alarms go off for no reason at all.  When I do want the alarm to ring, sometimes it doesn't.  It's getting really frustrating to use, and I'd hate to have to wait 9 more months to get a new one.  So, am I eligible for an early upgrade? I know there was an offer for an Early upgrade for a Droid X.

Does one of these apply to you? 1) Primary line on a Family Share plan? 2) On an Individual plan with a calling plan (the Talk or Talk & Text portion of your bill, no features/add-ons included) valued at $49.99 or higher?  If so, you are eligible for an Annual Upgrade at exactly 12 months into your contract.  You will have to use this upgrade directly with Verizon Wireless, either on this site or over the phone, and you will not be able to use your New Every 2 credit.  You may have to pay a $20 processing fee, and you will sign a new 2-year contract.
If you are a secondary line, or on an Individual calling plan valued at less than $49.99, you won't be eligible for an upgrade until month 20 of your 2-year contract.  If you are on a Family Plan, and another line is eligible for an upgrade, you can use their upgrade as long as they agree to having their contract extended for 2 years.

  • I'm eligible for a device upgrade.  I just want to change my plan.  Will that initiate a new contract or can I change my plan whenever I want to?

I'm eligible for a device upgrade.  Right now I just want to change plans.  Will changing plans initiate a new contract or can I change plans whenever I want to?

You can change your plan anytime without affecting your upgrade date.

  • Objection! Why can't vista home basic be eligible for the free windows 7 upgrade?

It's not fair! If I know only vista home basic cannot be eligible for the free windows 7 upgrade when I bought my T400, I would rather pay more to have other OS. Lenovo have never mentioned this before. I think I should have the right to know my future benefit. Does anyone have the same question about that upgrade program? I feel terrible.

Microsoft has given all OEM's the requirments for the free upgrade to Win 7.
Lenovo is only following Microsoft's guidelines.

  • How long does it take for Apple to send the content code for a free upgrade to Mountain Lion?

Has anyone managed to successfully receive the content code in their email for a free ugprade to Mountain Lion?
I bought my MBP on 14 July so I qualified for the free upgrade. Went to the website and filled in the form along with my serial number about 2 nights ago. Still haven't received my content code yet. How long does it take? Should I be speaking to someone already? Who?
    Thanks.

We are being advised it can take up to 72 hours !

  • Legitimate request for a free upgrade to Windows 7

I am new to this forum and am incensed by the attitude of Toshiba customer support staff towards my legitimate request for a free upgrade to windows 7, below is an email I have written to them which I would appreciate your comments on:
    To whom it may concern.
I am writing to express my displeasure with your response to my legitimate request for a free upgrade to Windows 7 seeing that I have recently spent over 1000 of one of your products.
After having multiple issues with the Vista operating system, I phoned your customer support on the 4th of December and had a conversation with a male employee who was unable to satisfy me as to why my machine was not entitled to a free upgrade to Windows 7 as mentioned on your web site.
He offered to pass me up to a supervisor which I accepted and was connected to a female member of staff who tried to explain that my model was not included in the "promotion". I could see no sense in her explanation, in context to the facts that my machine was of the same age and family as those been offered the "promotion"
This employee was again unable to answer or understand my question and said she was not technically minded so I asked her to put me through to her supervisor and after 10 minutes holding on the line I got to speak to Alistair Cook.
Mr Cook explained the "promotion" to me but could not explain why my model was excluded so he said he would call me back when he found out why. This he did some short time after and reiterated his earlier account with no further clarity. He said he would do more research on the matter and email me the findings.
This contacting your customer support office took a total of 48 minutes on the phone.
Vista is to all intents a failure, a fact you accept by your offer of free upgrades to your recent customers, so why discriminate against some consumers and not others.
I am a long time user of Toshiba computers, this Qosmio is my third laptop and I have always been satisfied with the customer support, not that it was greatly needed. So I again ask that you do the right thing and provide me with my principled entitlement.
    Yours sincerely.

    Hi mate
    Very interesting point of view.
But fact is that not all Toshiba notebooks are verified for a Win 7 upgrade.
    Why???
Well I have checked the Toshiba European page
    http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com -> Windows Upgrade 7
and there I could find a FAQ list.
One of the FAQ provides this info:
_What requirements do I need to satisfy to take part in the Upgrade Program?_
+To take part in the Upgrade Program, you must satisfy the following three criteria:+
+1. You purchased your Toshiba computer between 26th June 2009 and 31st January 2010.+
+2. Your Toshiba computer is one of the model series to be verified on the Toshiba page.+
+3. Along with your Toshiba computer you purchased a Windows Vista Home Premium, Windows Vista Business, or Windows Vista Ultimate operating system.+
It looks like several criteria must be satisfied in order to participate in Win 7 upgrade program.
