Is any one else have issues with interactive PDF output from InDesign CC (2014)

I am currently trying to produce a document with a level of interactivity I have achieved many times before.
The interactivity is just a web style menu, show/hide the menu shows button set one, clicking on those shows a second set of buttons, and clicking in one of those goes to destination page and hides all menu buttons once more.
When output from ID CC 2014 the result is loads of missing buttons and no working menu.
Its not a corrupt ID file. I tried a brand new empty file, recreated basic structure with simple one state buttons and achieved similarly useless results.
If I back save using IDML and open in CS5, export from there, it works beautifully, so problem is not as many have been recently, to do with Acrobat browsers.
If I back save and open in InDesign CC (not 2014), export from there, it doesn't work, so problem is shared there!
Anybody any suggestions? Experienced similar and found a cure?
SOLVED BY A COLLEAGUE:
You can (no longer) use full stops/decimal points in button naming. Menu was hierarchically labelled as 1, (1.1, 1.2), (1.1.1, 1.1.2) etc.
Renamed 1_1, 1_1_2 etc and all functionality has returned. Why you could and now you can't, who knows!

I've been a subscriber to verizon services for just under a year now and have been repeatedly disappointed by the " tech support" and " customer service " departments . I purchased a new droid xt912 (razr) and it worked great for a month or two then started having issues with random shutdowns and screen possessions icons randomly appearing and disappearing ringers changing on their own silent mode turning on and off by itself etc.. my inital thought was that it was a dl'd app that was causing the problems so i reset the phone to out of the box status and went for a week with no downloads or apps beyond the pre installed bloatware and started experiencing the same issues . I contacted cust service who then referred me to the laughable excuse for tech support who's only advice was reset it when i advised them I'd already done the reset they seem stunned that I being a lowly customer would know how to do that and advised me that there wasn't much else they could do but file and insurance claim and send me out a refurbished phone of the exact make and model. I declined after reading multiple reviews about this phone and the multitude of issues it possess and inquired about the possibility of allowing me to upgrade early and was told no under no circumstances would i be allowed to upgrade to a different phone. fast forward a couple of months I find out about the activation of the " edge " program and inquired with my local sales rep about the possibility of ditching this ****** razr for a different device and the ill trained and very ill informed rep told me that i qualified for the program no problem and I started the process and after almost an hour of my day later was told that no i couldn't use the program because i was already an active customer and wouldn't be eligible to even apply for it until my existing contract was expired at which point it would be really stupid on my part to renew into what is basically a lease program when i would be due to upgrade normally anyhow . I'm happy with the actual service ( when my device works properly ) but am seriously considering changing to a slower network once my contract is done just because of the inferior service . I know it seems like i may be whining just a bit but after several months of incompetent help bad answers and outright lies I'm at a loss as to if i may be the only one that has these issues . So if any one has had similar issues and has had them resolved i would so like to know

I have accepted that I am stuck with this device as i do not want a direct product replacement I've been to many of the global community forums and read about the product wide disaster this phone has been. My issue is more with the seeming disregard for customer loyalty and respect for the consumer who for lack of a better way of putting it pays the companies bills and employees salaries . Denying existing customers access to programs such as the " edge" program and the lack of intelligent answers to simple questions is a gigantic slap in the face to the consumer who despite other options has chosen to lock in with verizon. I guess more to the point it seems the company is more interested in obtaining newer customers then maintaining long term repeat customers . maybe i'm a bit archaic in my line of thought but better the reliable source of income then the gamble and it seems Verizon doesn't share that thought

I have an iMac 7,1 desktop and for year it had gotten me through a lot. I have noticed in the past year My iMac has been slower than usual and I have doen what I can to speed it up. The main issue is Safari 5.0.6 becuase it's using 50% of my memory(4gb) and now it doesn't report any bugs to apple.
Can any one help explain this?

Flash has nothing to do with your download speed nor wireless. It's just a Internet plug-in (and preference pane). You are using an old version. Flash's current "stable" version is 11.1.102.55 and beta 11.2.202.197. You can get the stable version from Adobe by going through here. You can get that or the beta by going through macupdate.com.

Is any one else having issues with iMessages since iOS7?

Since iOS7 I have been having issues with iMessages. They just stop sending and I have to re-start my iPhone or iPad to get these working again. This is happening to my friends as well on different networks but all on iOS7.
Is any one else having this issue?

They had the same issue with ios 4 when it came out and it was resolved with 4.0.1. Before I start the endless visits to noisy Apple stores, I'm hoping they will issue a fix for this and all the other bugs that are popping up.
Hopefully if enough people bring it up it'll get noticed.

Is any one else having problems with the Faebook Messenger app on their iPad 2?

The main issue with the Facebook Messenger app on my iPad 2 is the keyboard. Tends to malfunction unless I reboot the system. For example, the ONLY two keys that work are the "space bar and i/I." Hitting the "backspace" key closes the keyboard. Doesn't happen all the time but most of the time. It's a pain in the *** having to reboot my iPad everytime this crap happens. Any one else have any suggestions? I appreciate any comments, suggestions, feedback, etc.

Try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.

This "original file cannot be found" thing happens if the file is no longer where iTunes expects to find it. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, or that the drive it lives on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout,or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions.
Alternatively, as long as you can find a location holding the missing files, then you should be able to use my FindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes .

Look under your Start Menu for Apple Software Update, but before doing that, check the time and date on your computer that it's correct.
It's also saying the iTunes Library .XML file in your iTunes Folder file is new, for some reason, but your songs should be still in the iTunes Folder.
You can move the XML file out and restart iTunes and it shoudl creat another, you lose your playlists and have to import all your music again.

My phone will not charge any one else have this problem

I have plug my charger in to every outlet I can find and my phone will not charge. I have tried more than one charger and no luck.

We never want you to have issues with charging your device! That's definitely no fun! Are you using the charger that came with the phone? Have you tried restarting the phone to see if that makes any difference? If you look in the charging port are there any signs of corrosion?

Any one else have this issue with their Mophie?

I am just wondering if anyone has this issue with their Mophie and can offer any tips.
I recieved a Mophie from a friend for my iPhone 4. It has a crack on it that if you put a piece tape on it, part of the case can come out. It works, but you have to hold it basically still in order for it to work.
At this point, it seems like I'm better off giving this Mophie a first class ticket to the trash but I just wanted to see if anyone else out there in the world has had a similar issue and can offer some tips but I'm sure it's beyond repair at this point.

There is something really very very wrong in the land of Cellular Companies!!!!!!! Verizon Wireless is not going to recover from this. August 28th was my time to be able to upgrade my phone. I upgraded to a Samsung Notebook II. Well I have it, its very pretty. BUT I CANNOT USE IT BECAUSE VERIZON WIRELESS IS SAYING "THEY ARE HAVING A PROBLEM INTERNALLY WITH EVERYONE WHO UPGRADED THEIR PHONES THAT ENTERED INTO THE EDGE PROGRAM. SOMEHOW THE PHONES CANNOT BE ACTIVATED FOR USE. THEY CAN GIVE ME NO TIME FRAME AS TO WHEN THIS WILL BE RESOLVED." I will still in the meantime be billed for the phone as if I was using it. I WAS OFFERED NOTHING FOR THIS POOR PLANNING AND EQUIPMENT/PLANNING FAILURE ON THE PART OF VERIZON. I WAS NOT OFFERED ANY DISCOUNT, PRICE LOWERING, GIFT CARD, SKIP A PAYMENT. NOTHING!!!!!!!! I HAVE BEEN A LOYAL CUSTOMER TO THIS COMPANY FOR YEARS AND THIS IS HOW I AM BEING TREATED.

Strangely enough the pref file did not show up in the Preferences folder. I don't know what this means but it could be signifigant.

Does anyone else have issues with Verizon LTE service on the new iPad?

I have the new iPad. I have noticed that issues with the LTE signal have gotten progressively worse. When my iPad is sitting in 1 spot it will switch from 3 bars, to no service, to 3 bars, and so fourth. I might be on a website, or in an app that is using data and it works great. Then at random it says No Service again. I just added my iPad to my Verizon account with their new family data plan, so they sent me a brand new SIM card. I feel like I can rule that out.
I just want to know if anybody else has an issue with their iPad dropping service at random and jumping all over the board. I also have an iPhone on Verizon and it is with me always, I never have this problem with the iPhone. My iPad will say No Service but my iPhone will show nearly full service.
Just to add, I have switched off LTE for periods of time to see if things change. (that way both my iPhone and iPad are on 3G so I can compare) Things are no different when just running LTE.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. I am under warrenty and I have Apple Care. I hate taking stuff in and replacing it if I don't need to.
I am also signed up with a developer account through Apple, and my iPad has iOS 6 beta. This problem did not start with the beta software. It was the case before and after. I guess I was hoping if it was an issue Apple would address it with one of the revisions in iOS 6, but now I am starting to wonder if it is hardware.
