Is any relation between customerNo and Plant in R/3

hi,
<b>in bapi_salesorder_cretefromdat2 i can get netprice by giving import parameters like customerNo,salesArea,material, etc.......That means customer should be assinged to a plant(one sales area can have many plants( material price can vary from plant to plant) .pls give me clear picture on how net price is calculated in bapi_salesorder_createfromdat2</b>.

Hi Jagadish
The PCD is only a central persistance for storing Portal objects. There is no such relation between PCD and SSO that could create a problem. You can however check for the PCD error in this manner.
1. In the system administration role, choose System Administration -> Support. The Support Desk appears.
2. Select the area Portal Content Directory.
3. Click on PCD Configuration in the test and configuration tools. The next screen shows all the parameter values currently maintained for the PCD.
4. To reload the configuration, choose Reload.

Table Document no (BKPF-BELNR) is link between Material document no (EKBE-BELNR). If you are looking for validating Material reversal document then please use following logic for your requirement.
Material Document (MBLNR) & Material Document Year (MJAHR). Pass material document (MBLNR) to MSEG-SMBLN to read MSEG-MBLNR with MSEG-MJAHR to MSEG-SJAHR, if record found delete both the documents i.e. MSEG-SMBLN & MSEG-MBLNR (donu2019t consider these documents in the logic) and display Material Document No. (MSEG-MBLNR)

The field you indicated in Equipment Location tab (ARBPL) is in fact used to integrate Plant Maintenance with Production Planning; it represents the Production Work Center linked to this Equipment, and allows to automatically block the production capacity during Equipment repair. This is the only usefull functionality of this field.
Of course you can also link an equipment used to perform maintenance tasks to a PM work center, in order to control it's capacity during it's own revisions, but this seems a little overkilling
The Maintenance work center that is assigned by default to perform maintenance activities for the Equipment has to be maintained in the Organization/Responsibilities tab: Main WorkCtr (GEWRK). This will then be automatically copied when you create PM orders & notifications, Equipment Task Lists or maintenance plans with refference to that equipment.
This seems to be a rather frequent mistake done by allmost every junior PM consultant (I did the same some years ago) - it's generated by poor SAP documentation and lack of experience.

Hi,
Subject profiles are used in different areas like
Service
Complaint
Activity reason(Used in all documents like sales,service order)
There is a relationship between Codes, Code groups, code group profiles, Catologs, Subject profiles.
Do not confuse 'Reason' with 'Code' or 'Subject'(Not subject profile), all are same. In different contexts you call them with different names.
1. In IMG while creating codes you use the name "Code".
2. While entering details about activity in any business transaction you call it as a "Reason"
3. While entering the defect of the problem in Service or complaint doc. you use the name "Subject"
In all above cases it is equivalent to name "CODE' which you define in IMG.
Now coming to relationship of above mentioned entities, in any business transaction type customization you can select "business activity" as additional business transaction category. At the customizing header level of this bus. tran. category you are allowed to enter a "Subject profile" which controls your "Reason" field in the business transaction.
In a similar way for service or complaint order you are allowed to enter a "Subject profile" for entering "Subject" in respective transactions.
Each subject profile is assigned to Subject profile category like Service, Complaint, Activity reason etc.,
1. First define catalogs
2. For each catalog define code groups and codes( Code, subject, reason mentioned earler)
3. Create 'Code group profile' for each catalog and assign assign 'code groups' that are relevant for coreesponding catalog to 'code group profile'
4. Now finally create a "Subject profile" which is the combination of "Catalog and code group profile"
I think this would clarify your doubt.
Coming to default value in this reason field, the standard system will not support this. You sholud use some Badi to get this.

Relation between transactions and DTD's

Is there any relation between transaction, transaction subtypes with DTD's.
This is the case of 3rd party integration. I want to send an inbound message to the oracle xml gateway. This will be directly enqueued into generic queue - ECX_INQUEUE through AQ api's.
But for exposing the DTD's and transactions, I am not able to find any relation between them ?

Dear Raj
Both are not related in anyway. UTXJ is for sales tax and JMOD is for excise condition. For UTXJ, you need to create a tax code in FTXP and assign it in VK11 / UTXJ, whereas, JMOD is an excise condition type for which, you need to maintain the relevant datas in J1ID.
Coming to your question, how JMOD is determined in sale order, it is based on delivering plant. This delivering plant, as already said above, you will have to maintain in J1ID with the indicator "1" under declared tab in Material Chapter ID combination.

I have a requirement that I want to show pop up/ modal dialog when I click on list item column "upload/Edit" (in EditForm.aspx) . In Modal Dialog I have to show upload button and also existed items if any. Here the attachments will store into document
library's folder .The list item ID should be the folder name in document library.
How do I set relation between list and doc lib ?

Relation between resolution and sampling rate of an ADC

Is there any relation between the resolution and the sampling rate of an ADC. If so please explain it in detail.
If I use NI 9237 Module for the acquisition of signal from load cell, then what is the minimum time required by it to acquire one sample.If the sampling rate is 50KS/s and resolution is 24 bit, how will you caculate the minimum time required by it to acquire one sample. Please explain it in detail.
According to my knowledge it would take 20microseconds. Is this is correct?
Will this resolution also plays a role in that time?

Hi Giridhar,
For 9237, resolution is fixed to 24 bits and doesn't not effect by sampling rate.
Therefore, you can measure up to 1/50k=20us time between sample at 24 bits with 9237.
