Is everything on my iPhone, iPad and iMac that is synced between these devices stored on my itunes account?
I have an iPhone, iPad, iMac and iTunes.
I install apps on my phone and I install apps on my iPad, I buy videos via itunes via my ipad, I make voice memos on my iphone, I upload sound recordings to iTunes, I transfer CD's to itunes.
Question: If say everything on my iPhone and iPad is stored on my itunes account when I connect the devices to my imac (Because I can see them when I look on iTunes) can I then delete any of these apps and sounds and music and TV shows from my iPhone and iPad (To say save storage on my iPad or iPhone) but still be able to access them in the future?
I am really confused about where everything is. If I get something from one device then is that device the mothership so to speak and I mustn't delete anything from whichever device I got it from?
A general description on the whole theory of how everything syncs would be appreciated. And I don't mean the basic Apple videos which don't tell you what happens if you want to delete things. Something that explains it in laymans terms.

Anything you purchase from Apple can be re-downloaded later for free. These files are downloaded to the devices when you sync them or use the iTunes Match service. Even if you deleted an app from all 3 of your devices, it would still availiable to you in the "Purchased" sections in the App Store, iTunes Store, and other Apple digital stores.

Now to your questing:
So, you moved some Bookmarks and now 2 folders are completely empty.
I think that they dropped in a other folder during dragging the Bookmarks.
Did you check ALL of you Bookmark folder if they are there?
If you didn't delete the they have to be still there.

I recently upgraded to Mt.Lion 10.8.3. Am backing up icloud in iphone, ipad, and imac. In Imac, cannot check "photo stream". How do I see my photos from iphone on my imac? and should I backup in imac icloud storage?

What are the settings for iPhone, iPad and iMac to sync ical and contacts?
How can I get all three items to sync? What are the settings on the iMac with Lion on board? I put all my stuff on iphone but iMac & iPad do not have the items synced even though I have everything on icloud?
They're asking a question about carrier settings for their iPhone. I think that has everything to do with Apple.
Maybe they did already ask Straight Talk. I've called Straight Talk before... they're not too helpful.
You know, this forum would be much friendlier if people in this forum would quit squabbling, & posting comedic replies, not too mention name calling (like I did), when people are just needing some help.
It's also frustrating that people stick up for the guy who doesn't help, but rather takes the time to post some smart alec reply. Granted, I shouldn't have name-called... some people just frustrate me when they act like that.

How do i sync numbers between my ipad and imac. i dont even know how to do this via itunes

i just downloaded numbers to my ipda, thinking that as i use it on my mac, i would be able to use it on my ipad, and that the lates version would be saved automatically, however i have no idea how to sync the numbers on both devicesThanks, I've reset it a lot, but nothing changes. I can get the iPhone and the iPad to talk with each other, I want to have the iMac in the loop.
I got a note on another forum to change the "Send & Receive" setting. I now have 2 Addresses - my cell phone and my email. I'm hoping that will work. When DH gets home I'll have him test it. -
Please help, my calendar events are missing from iphone, ipad, and icloud that were there last week
I use the calendar on my iphone and I pad for my entire life, including work, everything for my boys and all of my hubbys appointments.
Last Friday was the last time that I inputed appointments into my calendar and everything previous was in there and on my ipad and icloud.
I went in this morning to check an appointment time for something next week and found that 99% of the events that I had scheduled since the beginning of the year are missing. And they are missing from my iphone, my ipad, my icloud, and no longer in my Yahoo calendar.
I am drfinately in a panic, i need these ....
Has anyone had this problem?

In iTunes, unselect them from syncing to the iPad.

Since a few weeks I can't hear the midifiles that are build in in some websites. My iMac just won't play them
Already installed latest Quicktime and selected as to use all the time on midifiles. However, when I try websites that I could always
hear it just don't work. Neither on my iPhone 5S, nor my iPhone 4S, nor my iPad air, nor my mac Book!!

I would love a job where I can help make the blueprints of how I devices will be made. I want a job where I can more so help plan the creating of every new device rather than building the already planned devices.
There is no simple job description or position that would fit. The jobs of design are generally split among many people and roles. You might try viewing the existing jobs; that might give you some clues as to avenues of education and job experience to pursue. Viewing the Design jobs might give you at least a start:

5, is now File > Devices > Transfer Purchases
6, 'Reset Warnings' at the bottom of the phone's Summary tab in iTunes
7, File > Devices > Back Up
8, File > Devices > Restore from Backup (or Restore Backup button on the Summary tab) -
HT1296 My iPhone has lost contacts although iPad and iMac have not. All are set to synch via cloud.
Can anyone assist me until recently my contacts were synchronised between iphone iPad and iMac via the cloud I now find that the opponents is loosing contacts?

On the device ith the missing contacts are you sure All Contacts shows at the top of the screen when in the Contacts App? -
my apple id/password work on my iPhone, iPad, and on my new iMac, except for the Cloud that says the id/password are incorrect. works on all the other iMac apps, just not the cloud. Help
Go to settings>store and make sure the new apple ID is logged in at the bottom of the page.
If not, log out of the old one and sign in with the new one. -
i have a mac book pro, an ipad and an iphone. i have an icloud account that allows my iPad and imac to sync. but my mac book only has a connection to 'mobile me'. how can i include my macbook with my other devices? help! thanks
You need OSX 10.7.2 or higher in order to access icloud. The mobile me account is now defunct (it closed down more than a year ago).
