Is it at all possible that a Nano could ruin headphones?

I'm going to expose my lack of knowledge about audio equipment, so apologies if this is a stupid question.
I've had three pairs of headphones all have the sound coming out of the right "phone" become extremely quiet within the past two months. As two pairs were Sony's and one was Apple's buds, I know it's not the brand. The only thing I can think of as common amongst them all is that I used them with my Nano.
The symptom is exactly the same in all cases... the sound coming from the right side is extremely faint. I've NEVER had the volume above 50%, so I know I'm not blowing them out.
Any thoughts? Suggestions?
I should point out that this is NOT the other problem people have mentioned, where their right side would start buzzing on heavy bass output. This is consistent diminished sound, to the point that if I have the right earbud alone in, I can't hear anything out of it if there's any ambient noise.
Also, the headphones in question have this problem if I plug them into other devices, but they all first occurred while they were in my Nano.

I acknowledge that it's entirely possible that all three sets have died in similar ways within the a relatively short period of time independent from my Nano.
But put more simply...
Within the past 2 months, I've had 3 different sets of headphones have one of the buds become very quiet, to the point where they're basically producing no sound, with seemingly no rhyme or reason. I don't have the volume up above 50%, so I know they weren't blown out. I also know it's not a problem with the Nano's output, since these headphones have the same problem with other audio devices after the problem came up having used them with the Nano initially.
So my question is... is it possible that my Nano is the thing that's causing this to happen?
As for the original earphones that came with the Nano... I'm using them now. No problems so far. But I prefer to use in-ear buds because they help eliminate ambient noise and thus allow me to keep the volume on the Nano lower.

I have Cisco call manager 8.2 integrated with Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Unified Messaging.
Call manager has primary and secondary server. I created a sip trunk and linked primary CUCM with Exchange. Users can leave and get voice mails.
Problem: In case that primary server is down (WAN is down) the users registered on secondary server but they cannot contact to Exchange Unified Messaging.
I added new UM Dial Plan with the same pilot and associated it to the secondary CUCM server. UM answered but do not recognize the extension number "is not a valid mailbox extension".
Is it possible that Exchange UM could be configure with two call managers over the same sip, the same pilot number, different associated UM servers and get access to the same voice mail boxes?
If not:
Does exist a way to configure Exchange UM that will work if one CUCM server is down?

OSX Crisis, discovered last month, was soon found to be cross-platform – detecting whether the OS is Windows or Mac, and responding accordingly. Now Symantec believes it may also be the first malware that attempts to spread onto a virtual machine.
Apart from virtual machines, Symantec has discovered that it can drop from an infected Windows device onto a connected Windows Mobile device. It’s not yet sure whether Android or iPhone devices can be similarly infected, but is conducting further analysis.
However, the ability to spread to VMware is new. It doesn’t use a vulnerability in VMware, but the nature of all virtual machines: ultimately they’re all just a file or series of files on the disk of the host machine. Crisis looks for a VMware virtual machine image on the infected host computer. If it finds one, it mounts the image and then copies itself onto the image by using a VMware Player tool.
Because the virtual machine is just files, it doesn’t even have to be operational to get infected – the files can usually be directly manipulated or mounted even when the virtual machine is not running. Researchers have become accustomed to malware trying to hide from virtual machines because this is what they use to analyze malicious code. Crisis reverses this behavior.
What is not clear, however, is whether this behavior is specifically intended to target the virtual machines of malware researchers – in which case we have to wonder why – or whether it is the first signs of serious attempts to colonize the growing number of virtual installations.
SecurityWatch makes an interesting observation here. “There are hints that Crisis originally began life as part of a commercial malware package sold mostly in the US and Europe before being packaged for hacker forums. The company behind the commercial version, Remote Control System DaVinci, targets the software for government surveillance, Myers [Lisa Myers of Intego] wrote. Priced at 200,000 Euros, it's unlikely Crisis will be ever used in anything other than targeted attacks, she said.”
This would lend argument to both possibilities. Either the ‘target’ is one or more security researchers, or it is the first attempts by malware writers to be able to target specific businesses or government departments that operate with a virtualized infrastructure. Either way, says Symantec, it may be “the next leap forward for malware authors.”

Is it possible that my iMovie could be corrupted and needs a re-install?

I'm still struggling with multiple problems/issues. I recently imported video files that apparently +iMovie did not like!+ They imported with no apparant problem. Upon play back though, my entire computer froze.
I'm now having new problems, in that, If I try to import more than 3 clips at a time, my computer freezes up... (iMovie compatible clips, not the ones that made it crash).
As a test, I re-installed iMovie on another drive, and was able to successfully import the same group of clips (about 15 at once) that had caused the computer to freeze, without the computer freezing. Unfortunately though, the clips when viewed were jerky. This could be a result of this iMovie version being 7.1.1, not the most current version, which is 7.1.4.
This is due to an entirely different problem, in that, even though I have the most current version of Quick Time 7.5 (149.5), I wasn't able to down load the iMovie update for 7.1.2 or 7.1.4, because the download was stopped accompanied with a message stating that I needed Quick Time 7.5 to proceed, which as I stated, I already do have.
Any advice or suggestions?
I'm just wondering if I somehow damaged the iMovie app. when I imported those unfriendly clips?

If you sent the iPhone to Apple to be refurbished, then the iPhone you received back is very likely NOT the phone you sent. Check the paperwork that came with the refurbished unit.

I have to make report for my application in which I am facing a following problem:
In the application there are multiple suppliers and each supplier having multiple line items and each item having multipale events. each evant having three status GREEN,RED and BLUE.
When a user select 'all suppliers' to show the the status time span for a supplier (i.e. for a supplier how many parts and upto how much time parts are in blue, red and green status)
to show the cumulative status time span I have to find out a event for each line item which is having nearest lower entry time from the lower part of the given time span.for this i have write following query

You don't need an app to do this. Here's how you get the battery info. Go to Settings>More>Battery. This will show you all the active apps and their individual battery usage.

That question does not really make sense to me. A given JDK or JRE will always be implemented for a given platform or operating system. So, that JDK or JRE will only 'know' of one platform/OS. (I doubt even that is true, it's simply implied by the fact that it is implemented for a specific platform).
If you want a list of supported operating system's, you would normally search for a page (such as the download area) here at java.sun.com.

Here are some possible solutions:
Do you use musicmatch jukebox on your computer? If you do, you have to go into task manager on windows and end process mim.exe. It interferes with disconnecting ext devices
Empty your "trash/recycle bin."
If that doesn't work, try quitting all your programs, especially music-type programs, basically things that look for mp3's etc.
if that doesn't work, "log off" then "log on" and that should refresh/purge your OS system.
Finally, you can restart your computer.

I just have just downloaded Mountain lion and I wanted to listen to music on my computer screen with my HDMI cable plug into my back of my screen and I wanted to talk to dictation on my regular standard iPhone headphone and I was wondering if it's all possible change your settings Mac Mini to set it so you can listen to those both like your headphones and use the mic in your headphones and there's no settings that would change in the Mac Mini so do there is a flaw in this system or I am just really really really really dumb.

You computer is probably perfectly repairable, but if you want a new one anyway, it is perfectly possible to transfer the data from the faulty one.
But it would be a mistake to simply put the old HD in the new computer.
These are the steps:
Remove Hard drive from faulty computer. (very easy on Unibody MBPs, do-able but not so easy on older MBPs)
Put it in a cheap enclosure
Connect it the new computer
Boot up new computer.
If the new computer has never been run before the Setup Assistant will ask if you want to import your apps, data, settings etc from either another mac, another HD connected to the Mac or a Time Machine back up.
Obviously chose the second option (another HD connected to this Mac) and follow prompts.
If the new computer has already been run (so Setup Assistant doesn't run when you boot it up), you will need to use Migration Assistant...or run the installer again so that Setup Assistant runs again.

Can I set up a review process in LiveCycle? Is what I want to do, at all possible? Anyone chime in.

What is the best way to set up a review process, without violating the EULA and having a form that is editable by the end user AFTER it is submitted.
Basically the process will go like this..
1. A user will log onto our website and click a link where he or she downloads a dynamic form.
2. The user will submit the form to multiple parties at once. (Conditional e-mail, depending on what sections in the form are filled out, different people will get the form)
3. The form will get reviewed, and if any changes need to be made, the person that originally filled out the form will need to get it back and make the necessary changes. (The forms are long, so they can't start from scratch).
4. After the changes have been made, the form will be re-submitted for final review.
5. After the form has been finalized, the completed form will be distributed to about 80 people within the company (attached to an e-mail or something) and these people will use the data within the form to populate what they need to.
Additional information:
-I am the only one that has Acrobat 9 Standard OR Professional.
-Everyone else has Reader only
-The forms are dynamic
-They have to be posted to a website
Is this at all possible? I can't figure out how this can be done.

You can Reader Enable a form in Acrobat v9 Standard, however note the EULA with the restriction on 500 unique recipients. If it is going out to less than 500 you are not limited to the number of data processes that you undertake on the form.

You would need to Reader Enable the form before you put it up on the web page.
You can script a regular button to submit the form to user-entered email addresses. See here: http://assure.ly/eUR4wJ. The first email button could be used to send out the form for review. The last section in the form could be a text field to allow reviewers to add comments and a second email button that would issued the amended form back to the originator for further action.
Both email buttons would get their email address(s) from completed fields in the form. In addition the email submission can be set up to return the PDF form and not just the data. IF the form is Reader Enabled then users with Reader will be able to complete this action.

Annoying bug in finder....how is possible that this thing was not noticed?

I can understand that is not possible to see all the bugs, but this is kinda bothering me, because is not exactly a bug that require a lot of efforts at all....here we go, maybe you know about it so iw ould love to know when it will be fixed.
format an USB disk as "apple partition map" (not GUID or boot), now copy a lot of stuff on it (20-30-50 Gb, doesn't matter once that you have more than 5 Gb and you are dealing with a lot of files or packages, and you will see that everything goes fine.
Now copy FROM the USB drive to anywhere else... now start to cry, because you will see messages from finder, saying that an error has occurred and the file is unreadable (-36); then the bar of the copy window stay stuck on the screen and you need to restart finder to make it work again.
a workaround is to copy small quantity of data...but if you deal, like me, with big data moving and stuff like that you wikll understand that is not possible to loose hours to copy stuff one by one, instead of select the entire folder and wait that it will copy.
It works from USB to USB (apple partition map), same from computer to USB (apm) but not on the other direction, so can't be the drive, and i've tried with another USB drive formatted with GUID and it works fine in both directions, while when you format it in APM it won't work form USB to computer (or any other device).
I've updated to the latest 10.5.1, is still doing it.... hoping that 10.5.2 will fix the issue, and please don't tell me to move 2 Tb of data somewhere else because i need to format my disks as GUID and not as APM would be too much to take LOL
BTW, every computer that is sold after Oct receive free leopard even if it does not came with it.... now i wonder if you do the same with the computer bought in september, since i spent money for a mac pro that came with tiger... would be really nice since you put on it all the latest software (ilife 08 and iwork 08) to have also Leopard, since is a business machine that cost 3k and not a toy like a pc that cost 500 dollars

I've upgraded from Tig to Leo; could be possible that this is the problem, but even in this case i would expect that an upgrade, if offered as option, should be able to let the machine to work without flaws like this one...honestly is not acceptable at all, especially from your company.
And please: add the discussion link on the Leopard page in the support section...it took me 20 minutes to find a way to go in the discussion forum (had no idea if there is one, since is not mentioned on the Leopard support page), and is even harder to find a link to post a bug or to send a message to the dev team about issues like that.

BTW i am glad that i was able to test-drive Leopard....now i know that i can stick with Tiger until the issues are resolved
At the moment the only way that i have to copy files is using the console instead of finder:
ditto -V -rsrc [source] [destination]
with this command you can copy entirely the files (works differently from cp and is specific for mac, since is a dev tool from apple included in any MAc OSX); so if you have issue like mine you can use this command in terminal and you will be able to copy stuff that won't copy using finder.
BTW now i know that there is a direct url at discussions.apple.com; before i was simply going in the specific software/hardware section and clicking on the link "visit the discussions here", while on Leopard page (and also on other pages, like imovie or itunes), there is no link to the discussions, so if you are not so smart you are basically not able to find the discussion forum site

I need this scenario in the Portal search.
So my question is:
Is it possible, if Country is empty, that the field City is read only.
In the How to guide you can see , if no city is selected the property city is a text field(not Dropdown) and you can enter a sting.
Or it is possible, if no country is selected that the field city shows all possible cities, not restricted by countries.
For example no country is selected and the field city shows all cities.
or no country is selected and the field city is read only.
The html code of dropdown list country is

1. EXCEL_OLE_STANDARD_DAT
2. GUI_DOWNLOAD
3. XXL_FULL_API
