Several points that can help more:
1. If you are working with Dot.Net, then I highly recommend read the first link that you got! This is nice and simple coding. Another option is this link which is even better in my opinion:

2. As i mention above both link use the column's type image. There are several other option of working with Files. In most of my applications architecture I find that it is better to use a column which let us use any type of file and not an image column.
In choosing the right column's type for your needs basically your fist question should be if if you want to store your data inside relational database environment or outside relational environment. It is a good idea to look for blogs on this issue. Next
if you chose to store your data inside then you need to chose the right column type according to your server version. I highly recommend to look for blogs on the differences between those column's types: IMAGE,

First if you were talking to a Uverse rep about transferring ownership of account and then inquired about phone service the only thing that could be offered would be Uverse VoIP. Calling 1-800-288-2020 is also calling the Uverse division of AT&T, again VoIP. POTS is not Uverse, a separate department with a separate bill, and no bundle discount for combined services. The install would be handled by the outside lineman, not a Uverse tech. If chose the self install the lineman would get dial tone to the NID, you would be responsible for wiring NID to house wiring as Uverse Max Plus 18 or Max Turbo 24 should be a dedicated home run from NID to RG not touching the house wiring. A full tech install would be billable as is a tech assist service call to connect wiring. Lastly AT&T as stated desire to be all IP by 2020, expect POTS and DSL CO based products to be discontinued in near future. Therefore you may have a better chance at a POTS line by going 3rd party provider. And yes if VOIP is active expect to pay for service till such time as CANCEL VOIP service or number is transferred. These are my thoughts and do not represent any official response.

You could have a timer trigger that runs every 5 minutes and checks a notification table, if there is an unacknowledged notifcation, then you could change the Window title of the formas app to show a (1) at then end of it.Timer has a bad this.. For example, if i make a timer and run every 5 min. then if user works on a form, timer will hide the form and show the timer window.

you could also just cache your lookup table with something like Oracle Coherence and than try to ensure that all changes to the lookup go through Coherence, so that you won't need to do notification from the db up to the application. the application and the lookup data management tool would be using the data grid for management of the lookup table data, and the data grid (coherence) would persist the lookup data changes back to the db.

I do not think it is possible to send an alert message to all users notifying them that the system will be down. However, you can follow the steps in the following note to redirect the users to a different page or let them a get "The System is now Down for Maintenance" alert message.

Just tap on the Message app, tap the pen/paper thing, tap the + sign and then scroll to the contact you want to send a text to. Hopefully that'll work and that is the way I do it at times.

The spell checker correctly shows a red underline to flag misspelled words. However, sometimes I miss them or inadvertently send the message before I've checked (new user, not sure how this happens). Is there a way to have a question box show up to ask me if I'm ready to send with spelling errors? I did find some guidance in prior questions to the Community but they were for other Apple i products.

Not that I have found. The interface apparently expects you to correct them the moment they occur. A PITA, if you ask me, since it breaks the typing rythmn.

The example will not help you
because the url that we generate we take it from the sms provider ( or the mobile service company )
so its will not work with you.
I mean if you want to send sms there is no standard way
because its depend on the sms provider ( or the mobile service company )
because every provider have different way>
So the sms provider must tell you how to generate that URL or what is the a webservice
that will send the sms.

Later I want to share some files, PDF, from my iPad air back to my windows 7 PC. Then again erase from icloud or iTunes, which ever is used.

That type of sharing between your PC and iOS devices using iCloud isn't possible until iCloud Drive is introduced later this year. (It may be available for your iPad next week with the introduction of iOS 8, but the ability to access is on your PC may not be possible until OS X Mavericks is introduced later this year.)

My daughter uses iPhone as do I. She has her data turned off most of the time and uses wifi. If she is on a solid wifi network she gets iMessage. If she is not she doesn't.
I used to be able to send to her phone number as a text message...old school but not now.
The option to "send as text message" doesn't come up anymore.
Any help would be appreciated!

It tends to connect faster, and you only get the choice to do that if the message fails, or you are quicker on the tap then the sending is. I'll assume there is a reason that she has data turned off, but for iMessaging it uses very little data. You are going to have to decide how you want to deal with this, based on what other messaging she does.
