i am not sure if this will make sense so please tell me if it
doesn't. is it possible to have a link/button inserted into the end
of my flash video that makes up the first page of my web site. the
video plays showing the name of the site then fades to show the
text "enter" which i want to make the link to the next page.

in FLASH set a gotourl action on the last frame of the move.
If this is a "splash page" and has a dancing company logo and
a throbbing
drumbeat- reconsider. Just make the homepage of the website
the homepage.
Don't make people wait to see some content.

Is it possible to change the first page of a web application that was built using the UI?

Hello Community
    Using Sharepoint 2010 Server and the UI I built and application and would like
to continue building the web application using the UI.
    The application's first page was built using a Blank Site template and
the subsequent subsites were built using the Team Site template.
    In retrospect the first page should also have been built using a Team Site template.
    It may be unnecessary to make to delete the application
and create the first page as a Team Site and then have to create all of the
subsites (Team Sites) all over again.
    As a solution to prevent deleting the whole application and creating application
with all of the subsites all over again whether it is possible to do any of the
following:
    - Convert the Blank Site page into a Team Site page which would allow
me to leave all of the subsites as is.
    - rename the Blank site page which would in effect would be renaming the application
then create a new Team Site page which would be essentially creating a new application and
then adding all of the subsites contained in the renamed application that has the first page
as a Blank page.
    And if is possible to add, copy or move the subsites from existing sites to a new Team Site
page, how do you add, copy or move the subsites from one application to a diffent application?

Hi Shabeaut,
According to your description, my understanding is that you want to change the template of the root site without creating the susites in another web application.
I recommend to export all the existing subsites and import them to new web application.

Here's an interesting bit: iTunes will let me restore my iPod touch from backup: it's still running iOS 4.3.3. I figured as much... there's backups showing in the Preferences -> Devices list for both devices (and even my old, long gone iPod touch 2G), but my iPhone (on iOS5) isn't giving me any such option. I remember I had to downgrade before to get the backup restored (something went haywire in the setup assistant, and I couldn't restore a backup from iTunes there)... If it was possible to go to iOS 5.0 rather than 5.0.1 I would just do the same thing again, but iOS 5.0.1 isn't an option. I attached a screenshot. Hopefully Apple can get this nonsense sorted out; I think iOS 5 might be the root of this, somehow.

Did you go into Settings > Store and then tap your old ID, sign out and then enter your new ID?

Is there another way to close apps other than deleting them from the multitask bar.....I have a small crack in the bottom of my screen and that part of the screen does not recognize the touch. :(

There's generally no reason to be closing them that way at all. The apps you see in the recents bar are just that, apps that you used recently. Most of them are doing absolutely nothing. The only apps that are really doing anything in the background are ones that play music and ones that are using location services. Just leave them be.

That is four years and 3 months after I purchased this phone. "Customer service" said I had an upgrade at the end of July 2013, which I did not. She said that in the system my husband took an upgrade July 29th 2013. He didn't even have a Verizon phone, he had a work phone with T-mobile. I have asked what device he supposedly upgraded to since no phones have been activated and we all still have our same phones and numbers. Remember at the time, said husband had a work phone with T-mobile. I still have the very same phone as do all of the rest of my family members. No one has upgraded. I spoke with "customer service" for more than a half an hour today, Char promised me that her supervisor (Emily) would call me back by 7:30 tonight to clear up this problem. Well guess what? You may have to try a general OS X troubleshooting process to see if the issue goes away by doing this...
Have you tried: starting the computer in SafeBoot mode, with shift key held down; a login screen should appear after a time, and then the regular desktop. At this point, locate Disk Utility in utilities folder, and run 'repair disk permissions' on the startup volume, usually the name given the hard disk drive as it appears on desktop. After Disk Utility is finished the permissions repair, restart the computer normally.
...The iTunes player has free support only through the duration of the hardware product's complementary or AppleCare extended plan coverages, so though you can download a newer version, that is not the same as free support for an issue. However, the iTunes Store or App Store has a different factor for their product.

There is an iTunes area in Apple Support Community discussions for more topics like this; except for when they involve a hardware product where an OS X is involved. If your computer is NOT a powerPC (an 'intel'-mac) the topic would more naturally need to be posted where that hardware and later supported OS X version topics get seen. So that is why one asks 'on what Mac running what version...' instead of writing four paragraphs in a wide angle reply. The details about your iMac and the OS X say more; without them, more questions arise.

The little lock has nothing to do with speaker volume. It means you have locked the rotation on your iPhone.
Have you tried using the volume control on the side of the iPhone to raise the volume when someone calls?
