Is it possible to redeem multiple iTunes gift cards?
For example, if I bought a $25 iTunes gift card, and now I have $5.11 left, can I get a $50 iTunes gift card and redeem it to make a total of $55.11? Is that allowed?
Yes. There's no limit (at least none I've ever heard of) of the number of gift cards you can redeem or the amount of the balance you can carry. Just be sure you redeem the new card through the same iTunes Store account you have your balance in now; don't inadvertently create a new iTunes Store account.

Redeeming Multiple iTunes Gift Cards
(brand new user and have never participated in a discussion group--my apologies if this violates protocol)
If I have been given a new iTunes Gift Card, should I wait until the remaining value of the existing card has been exhausted in the iTunes Store, or can I redeem the new card immediately and will(should) its value be added to my existing, remaining balance? You can redeem as many as you like. The amounts will simply be added to your account.

Okay... I redeemed my itunes gift card, under my old ID. I had since updated my new email address, but didnt realize i redeemed it under the old ID. I tried to redeem it under my new ID, but i couldnt. Is there a way to switch my gift card amount to my current ID??
No, it's not currently possible to transfer a redeemed card to a different account, and you also won't be able to use it to gift content to the newer account (you can only gift via a credit card) - so the amount will remain linked to that old account

I redeem an Itunes gift card, but monies was not credited to my account. I was signed in to my account. Is there a waiting period?
You will need to try contacting iTunes Support (you will probably need to give them images of the front and back of the card, and possibly its receipt) : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then iTunes Cards And Codes

If I redeem an iTunes Gift Card to an Apple ID that does not have a credit card (or NONE is selected as payment option), can I gift an app to another account?
I can purchase apps on that account but it will not allow me to gift an app from an ipad or via the itunes store (on the computer). Do I need to have a credit card on the account to be able to do that? You can only gift via a credit card - you can only use your account's balance for buying content for yourself.

I am not able to redeem my itunes gift card. It says that it has not properly been activated. I have had this card for over a year is it expired?
Ask the people at the store the gift card came from or the iTunes Store staff for assistance.

i'm trying to redeem my itunes gift card and i get the message "session timed out." does anyone know why i'm not able to redeem my card and why i get this message in stead?
I've been having the same issues too, and thought it was just my outdated computer or account?!
Every time I try to purchase a song, "session has timed out" shows up after I click "agree" to the terms!? I seem to be in the exact same scenario as 'SportsBarn' above: Itunes support have replied repeatedly with the same "solutions" but nothing has helped or even been applicable. I have an older laptop, 2005 Powerbook running OS X 10.4 Tiger so it's not compatible with the latest iTunes 10.5.2 which requires minimum OS X 10.5. I've been using the balance already in my iTunes account (from redeemed giftcards over the past few years) with no problem, until recently (my last successful purchase was October 2011). I wonder if it's the older OS or just a redemption glitch even with newer computers? -
i redeemed my itunes gift card and i got $15 in credit, but when i try to make a purchase it tells me it could not be completed, how can i fix this ?
If you are also getting a message to contact iTunes Support then you can do so via this link and ask them why the message is appearing (we are fellow users, we won't know why) : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

pls could somone help
I tried to redeem an iTunes gift card and it said that my card has not been properly activated
YvesolutionWhat you normally should do when you have an iTunes card that has not been activated is go back the retailer from whom you purchased the card and discuss the problem with them. They should either correctly activate the card or give you a new one. If they refuse to help, as some retailers do, or you don't know or can't get to the retailer, go here:
iTunes Support
and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store. They will ask for a scan of the front and back sides of the card as well as a scan of the receipt

Installing Windows 8 on Portege R500
Hi, Is it possible to install Windows 8 on a Portege R500 ? I tried and failed. I think the reason is that Windows 8 uses a GPT disk and not MBR. Is there a BIOS update to deal with GPT disks ? Thank you Markus
