Is it possible to send a text from the iphone 4s to several contacts and not have their replies go to everyone else on the original text? I have group messaging turned off but this seems to do nothing.

Do this instead:
Email everyone instead of texting and use BCC: which will hide all of the people's emails.

plug cable into computer not iOS device
turn phone off
hold home button and plug cable into phone. do not release home button until an itunes graphic appears on device.

Why cannot up-to-date licenses be managed in VLM at the same time as not up-to-date licenses?
NI says that existing DIAdem licenses (not up-to-date, but legal) on VLM cannot be merged with new (up-to-date) LabVIEW licenses will not work on VLM. Why cannot two separate license files be installed? Or, what about the alternative of running two VLM installations on one server by using different ports? Do I really have to have two VLM installations, each on a different server??

Also be aware that by using different Apple ID's, you will not be able to use the same Apps on both devices like you would under one Apple ID. You will need to purchase TWO copies of all Apps, one each under each Apple ID.
If you just want to change the iPad's name, you can do so under Settings>General>About.

Wired and Wifi has to be connected at the same time to not be disconnected!

I work as a tester for WoW and for the past few months, I’ve had connection issues. I’ve had Comcast come out a few times and they are so eager to leave they look up the speed and say, “Oh you are good on speed” well I’m not. Every few mins I’m disconnected from the server. It’s not my computer and I’ve done every thing WoW suggested. The ONLY way I’m able to stay online for an hour is I have to have the wired and WiFi connected at the same time on my desktop. If you have any suggestions let me know.

I have posted this many, many times here. See if this helps you understand how this process works with regard to system sounds and screen rotation lock.
System sounds can be muted and controlled two different ways. The screen lock rotation can be controlled in the same manner as well.
Settings>General>Use Side Switch to: Mute System sounds. If this option is selected, the switch on the side of the iPad above the volume rocker will mute system sounds.
If you choose Lock Screen Rotation, then the switch locks the screen. If the screen is locked, you will see a lock icon in the upper right corner next to the battery indicator gauge.
If you have the side switch set to lock screen rotation then the system sound control is in the control center if you are running iOS 7. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to get to control center . Tap on the bell icon and system sounds will return.
If you are running iOS 5 or iOS 6, the system sound control is in the task bar at the bottom. Double tap the home button and swipe all the way to the right in the task bar to get to the speaker icon on the left side. Tap on that and the sounds will return.
If you have the side switch set to mute system sounds, then the screen lock can be accessed in the same manner as described above.

Did you reset Logic's audio preferences?
Did you do a hardware reset of the MOTU unit?

Can i edit multiple songs at the same time but not to the same thing?

i have downloaded a free mixtape and once transferring to iTunes every track on it comes under various artists in the artists section and the name of the artist and song title in the name section of iTunes. I am aware i can change these by selecting 'get info' however i was wandering if the was a way where i can change all of these songs manually, at different times, without haven't to manually select 'get info' before editing every one.

There are editors that bring up the songs one at a time, so you can edit them in a row. Winamp works that way. iTunes does not.

Just to clarify, are you getting any indications of missed calls? Is there anything in the Recent call log?
I seem to recall hearing something similar but generally, toggling Airplane mode has been the fix. Between you and Lex, you seem to have covered most of the troubleshooting basics. The only thing I can think of that you haven't done is resetting network settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. You will lose any saved WiFi passwords.
Apologies if I've got the reset directions wrong. I don't have a device with that old an operating system. Lex, am I close?

Seeing replies to other persons group text even though group messaging is off

I have an iPhone 4s with iOS 6.1.2. When my daughter's coach sends a text message from his iphone to the whole team, I can see the replies of those people who also have iphones. Now I can't text coach without everyone seeing the text. I have group messaging turned off.

That's how imessage works on the iphone.
If you want to reply to just the coach, then create a new imessage just to him.

will it create some conflicts between the respectual drivers of the 2 cards?
Normally windows is able to have several sound card at the same time.. i already did it...
but i am afraid of drivers conflicts and some dll components conflicts...

T-Storm, I'm having the same annoying delay on my X-Fi Extreme Gamer card, it's driving me nuts trying to fix it.
I noticed that if I un-tick the Dolbly Digital Li've in the console it goes away, along with the 5. sound, %$*&^^&%!
Is it he same with you? Try un-ticking the DDL while playing something and see if it stops the delay or not. At least it will see if the problem is the card, the connection, the optical cable, or DDL itself.
Dolby Digital Li've works in real-time so I fear that is causing the delay rather then a bad cable or connection. But I don't know if others are getting the same delay or not, if it is DDL then everyone should be getting it.
But, if they are not trying to play a digital signal at the same time as a anolog one they might not notice it.
