Is it possible to sync a file/img so that, when it is replaced in the cloud, other files housing that file/img have the updated image in its place?

Here's an example:
Several people are working on a PSD mockup of, say, a website.
Inside this mockup are icons, already appropriately placed & spaced on the page.
Then, we get feedback that one of the icons needs to be different. So, we update the icon itself, possibly as a shared asset, the new file sharing the same name as the old one. From there, is it possible that, when opening the PSD mockup, the icon inside is automatically replaced with the new one because the asset is connected to the cloud?

No. the user still needs to download the asset locally and replace is linked smart object.

I have Windows OS and iTunes for PC, but the problem is not in my PC, but in synchronization. Your synchronization take minute or two, you have thunderbolt lightning cable??? If is it by you really so quick than ok but by me is it with sync really slow and I have still powerhouse notebook.
I dont know how is it possible that your sync is so quick, but my iPhone starts transfering purchased aplications and all content to the PC, instead of downloading it PC itself without iPhone from iStore. So there is what happend when I am conecting my iPhone.
When it find my iPhone on the first try, it starts makeing backup, than transfering photos, aplication, some info from Safari and to the end also the MUSIC...this should be improved by Apple and it should be able to sync just MUSIC section and not whole system, when I changed just something in MUSIC section(like adding new CD..)
So it does on PC whole resync Maybe is it somewhere in options, but where? I really want sync sometimes just MUSIC or just Apps and nothing else(like Photos, Bookmarks...)
I am sorry for that angry tone, but I am really stresedby this 20minutes sync or 10 miutes...just becouse of adding 1-2 songs, this is by competition phones quicklier :/ !

You need to select your iPod in iTunes. The command (from the menu bar?) is disabled because you have not selected a device for which the command is applicable.
The latest iTunes may hide the sidebar. To show the sidebar, from the menu bar, under View, select Show Sidebar. In the sidebar, find and select the iPod under DEVICES.
Once the iPod is selected, you can select the Sync command under File -> Devices in the menu bar. You can also just click the Sync button at the bottom left corner of the iTunes window (when the iPod is selected).

Your iPod can only be synced with one computer at a time. If you try to sync it with a new computer/iTunes library, it will replace the contents of the iPod with whatever is in the new library. You should probably disable the autosync functionality first by going to Edit -> Preferences, clicking the Devices tab, and enabling the prevent iPods,iPhones, and iPads from automatically syncing option.
Before doing anything else, authorize the new computer with your iTunes Account. In iTunes, choose Store -> Authorize This Computer and enter in the correct credentials. Either copy a backup file from your old computer to your new one or create a new backup of your iPod in iTunes before letting it sync.
Then right->click on your iPod Touch from under the Devices section in the left hand pane of iTunes and choose Backup. You might also want to take a look at this article to see what it all included in the backup.

Now onto synced content such as music, videos, photos, etc. For iTunes purchases you can copy them back into iTunes by choosing File -> Transfer Purchases. For all other nonpurchased iTunes content, see this excellent user tip from another forum member turingtest2 outlining the different methods and software available to help you copy content from your iPod back to your PC and into iTunes.

Connect your phone to iTunes, then right-click on the name of your phone on the left sidebar and select Reset Warnings. Then sync again and you should get a warning listing the problem files.

I have tried just publishing altered files only, then tried the whole site again, and then tried publishing as a new site altogether. Thought I would then try to export as HTML in the hope of uploading the files via an FTP client and Muse crashes and locks up again. I am extremely stressed about this as I am in the last few days of of website I have been working on now with no issues since December. We are due to go live and my client needs to see it. I am desperate for an answer. It is not looking good. I am on an Apple Mac and have not had any isses publishing it for the last 6 months. Not very happy to say the least. Need desperate help.

Hi Zak, I got onto Adobe Customer Care Live Chat this morning and gave them the error message. After some trouble shooting with them it appears the older archived file of the site still publishes. I have now reverted back to the old file and copied and pasted out of the new file and from some ideas given to me by support I am now able to publish to Business Catalyst. It seems there was something corrupt within the new pages added yesterday. I have no idea if this would have still happened if I hadn't updated but I am glad it wasn't a Muse specific problem. I am loving using Muse and the support from Adobe has been excellent. Thanks everyone. By the way I do love the new version and apart from this hick up that lost me a few hours, aged me some more and gave me grey hair I really love Muse. Thanks again.

Possible to sync multiple files and output the merged clips?

I'm working on a documentary project and have hundreds of individual clips from multiple Canon C-300 cameras and a multi-track master audio recording from a SoundDevices 744. Since this is a documentary the cameras aren't slating every take, instead they all have Lockit boxes generating timecode that is slaved to the master clock on the 744.
What I need to do it sync the pictures and the sound and output the sync'd files for screening and editorial. ScratchLab is not sync'ing the material properly but bringing a clip into Premiere is locked up without a problem.
Is there a way to sync the audio/video and output individual sync'd files using the tools in the CS6 suite? Please keep in mind that there are hundreds of individual clips so the process would have to be automated.

I also have hundred of start/stop clips with TC and audio start/stop with TC too, and I don't find a way to place the clips on the timeline at the right place of the TC.... The clips are R3D and the sound comes from a 788T. Nothing special. I work a lot with Premiere and Red and I LOVE IT.
What ? I should record audio on the Red just to permit PluralEyes to do thesync from audio ??

Has anyone had the error "The file could not be read due to an error" when selecting ignore or replace? The linked images are in Dropbox if that helps.

I am working on a Mac 10.9.5 with Adobe CS6. My files are locally in Dropbox but once we moved files to network and tried opening the AI - the file would not recognize the original folder location. I tried ignoring the missing images but then I receive the error - The file could not be read due to an error." The same error happens when I try replacing the first missing image. I know the problem lies in the images are linked back to my Dropbox but the AI file doesn't care since it won't let me replace or ignore the image links.

Maybe a bit beside the question, but it is always recommended here to open/save from/to own hard disk, and to copy from/to networks and removable media. You may be lucky, at least for a while, but it is better to be safe than sorry.

Files saved in newly updated Photoshop will not place correctly in Illustrator

I cannot seem to place any images in Illustrator CC that have been edited/saved with the newest update of Photoshop CC. These are images with no layers and no transparencies, and are no more than about 300px x 600 px, 300dpi. I have saved, resaved, saved as a new file name, saved in a new location, downloaded a fresh stock file and reedited and saved elsewhere, saved in .jpg, .tif, .psd, and .png and all efforts end up with a gigantic colored rectangular object. The object is so massive that I cannot even resize it because Illustrator says the object would be too large. Any images that I have not opened and saved in PS will place just fine, it only seems to be those that I save in PS that are a problem, and only since I ran the update this morning.
I am using OS X 10.9.5, 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5, 8GB 1600 MHz DDR3 ram with fully updated PS CC (2014) and Illustrator CC (2014).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Evidently Solidworks changed the output of their files to a format that AI cannot interpret. Just backsave in Solidworks to the required version.

It souds like you are using more than one iTunes library/computer to get music from. You can only sync with one iTunes library but you can manage music and videos among different computer/libraries. See:

If yo sync with another library your iPod gets erased and its contents replaced with what is in the new iTunes library.
