Is it possible to total the amount of time from a particular calender?

I was just wondering if it was possible to get the total number of hours associated with a particular calendar. Say for the work calender, could I get iCal to spit back to me the total number of hours from all the events for that calender during a particular period of time.

Thanks for the quick response. I'm trying to calculate the hours for a long series of multiple repeating events. To paste the entire log would be quite lengthy. However, it seems that no matter the length, date, or other properties of the event, the script calculates it as 24 hours long. The total hours of all the events calculated with the script is handily divisble by 24. I don't know if a newer version of iCal (I'm running the latest 10.4 version) reports events back as all-day, or something of that nature.

Can I limit the amount of Time Machine backups?

Is it possible to limit the amount of Time Machine backups? I have a 2 tb drive to store back ups...it's nearly full. I'd like to use the drive for other things as well.

Right-click the column contains charges and deductions values to insert a column with Outside Group-Right.
Then type the following expression to the corresponding cells (the name filed contains charges and deductions values, the Value filed contains the amounts values of name field):
=Sum(iif(Fields!name.Value="charges",Fields!Value.value,0))-Sum(iif(Fields!name.Value="deductions",Fields!Value.value,0))

We are researching if it is possible to call the Print Quote functionality from the Custom ADF application.
Goal is to pop up the PDF report upon clicking the Print Quote button on the custom page. Is it possible ?

Time outs happen too quickly. I want to extent the amount of time that elapses before it times out while loading a site.

my app needs something to be installed on the client pc. It downloads the file and then install its automatically. For win this is working, fir the linux not, i can set the permissions, and when i try to launch it like

I think it's possible due to the fact that's there a license agreement in the bin file. when i true to install it manually, from the shell, it shows me the license agreement. i think that linux is waiting for input from the user and my prog hangs. so Is it possible to show the shell in linux from exec ??? so that the user can see the license agreement

it is in fact the same as the bin file for installing
java, when you extract that you see the license
agreement and the user has to press enter to go on,
that's the only input.

As the phone has no way of knowing what your plan allowance is, it just shows how long you've been on calls. Keep in mind that not all calls are billable. My carrier doesn't count calls to customer service. So, if you had called customer service, it would show on the phone as usage but not on your bill as part of your allowance. Check to see if your carrier has an app in the App Store for tracking minutes. It will be much more accurate.

Do you mean is it possible to destroy your system from the Terminal? Anyone that has spend long enough working with Unix from a command line knows that answer. Yes! And a painful lesson it has been for many of us.
The real question is, what is your goal?
If you just want to erase lots of files, then the 'rm' command is available. Once all the files are erased, the rm command will be one of them, and so that is the end of the game. You will not be able to execute any more commands. The file system is still there, and the data in all those files is still on the disk, you have just eliminated the easy way to access that data (via file names).
If you want to initialize a new file system on the disk, you could most likely do that (diskutil - it will be the last command you run from the terminal, but you could most likely do it). Again, the data is still there, but the file system structure that held all the names and allocation information has been eliminated.
If you want to securely erase the disk, that is also possible (diskutil), and again, that will be the last command you will run from the terminal. Now nothing is left behind, neither data nor file system structure.
What sort of command would/could allow this?
rm and diskutil come to mind (in combination with sudo).
You could also just boot from the installation DVD, and then from the Menu select the Disk Utility and erase the disk as well as give it a new file system. And since you are running from the OS stored on the DVD, you can do other things after the Disk Utility is finished.

Try this:
1. Dial *#61# and click Send. You will see your VM access number and the current ring delay time.
2. Write down the phone number displayed (including +1).
3. Dial **61*+1xxxyyyzzzz*11*30# and hit Send. +1xxxyyyzzzz is the number you wrote down previously, 30 is the delay in seconds. The delay can be set in 5 second increments, 30 is maximum.
4. Dial *#61# to verify that the new settings are active.
