When I was trying to delete the emails in my inbox for the Mail app - I followed THESE directions. It did in fact clear my inbox for the Mail app. But then I went to log on to my Outlook account and EVERY SINGLE EMAIL was gone. And not in the Deleted box. Just gone. Here are the directions I followed that screwed everything up. Please help.
Top menu bar, Mail > Preferences > Accounts > Mailbox Behaviors.
Uncheck "Store deleted messages on the server".
At the drop list for "Permanently erase deleted messages when", choose "Quitting Mail".
Next...
Top menu bar, Mail > Preferences > General.
At "When searching all mailboxes, include results from", uncheck "Trash".
Select All = command A

i found out my prob!
here is what you do.
go to the "system preferences" on your dock.
click "software updates".
click "installed software"
if it shows something about a recent update about "EFI UPDATE, FIRMWARE, THUNDERBOLT" or anything like that, exit out of it.
go to mail.
click "mail" at the top.
click "preferences...".
find the account you are having trouble with, once you do, make sure its highlighted, then click the "-" at the bottom of the window (this will only effect that mail account, it will not effect your ical weather or not its synced thought that email account)
hit the "+" (right next to the "-") and add your accout back!
its something with that update that effected mail, i hope this works out for you, if not reply back

What does deleteAll do, it doesn't look like a JPA method. You might want to ask your question on your provider forum, or use straight JPA methods as a simple EntityManager.remove(answer) on each answer in the collection should work.

Adobe X Pro: How to Delete ONLY the footer?

As far as I can see, I can only delete both the header and footer at the same time. I would like to delete ONLY the footer to add a new one without disturbing the header. I cannot figure out how to do this. The header was created in word, and then the footer was created in adobe after it was converted. I simply want to update this footer I made, but even if i choose the update header/footer option it deletes the header. I don't understand why adobe keeps deleting the header. This happens on any similar document I try it on.

no you can't with the phone but if you use a computer program like iphone backup extractor and transfer the messages to your computer you might get some indication of size. A safe bet is that the messages with pictures and vids are the big ones

I create a lot of project folders where i keep all my conversations regarding the project. Once the project is finished i would like to just delete the folder and get rid of all the emails associated with it but when i delete the folder i've noticed that only received messages are deleted. Now I am stuck trying to sort through my sent folder for messages that were returned there after the conversations was supposedly deleted.

Delete only the Fact table using process chain?

I have an issue,where i have to delete the contents of the Infocube.So when i drag the Process type "Delete Contents of the Data target" into the process chain.I Am able to delete the contents of the cube.
But in my case i need to delete only the FACT table and not the DIMENSION table.The system does prompt a message to delete FACT only /FACT & DIM TAbles.
Please advice if its possible to Delete the FACT table only using process chains

I'm playing around with it to write a blog post and it is crazy. Only possible workaround (till now i'm not able to figure out a solution to it) is to copy the application and deploy it as a new one. Take copy of all objects (forms, tasklist etc). Delete the corrupted application and rename the new one to old.

Keeping only the last ## messages on your computer.

I would like to free up some space on my HDD and since I rarely ever use mail.app to find old messages I would like to keep only the last 50 messages on my computer sort of like the iphone handles my mail and leave everything else on the server. I use IMAP so deleting everything but the newest 50 will delete everything on the server too.

1) on mac mail (mobile me) you can do that, by opening mail, choosing "preferences" from the finder/mail menu, then click on your mobile me account and choose "advanced" (third tab). there is a drop down menu "keep copies of messages for offline viewing"
And in "mailbox beahviours" (the second tab) at the there is a bottom tick box "store deleted messages on the server" which you can tick (it will, obviously, fill up your quota).
2) With regular mail, such as virgin/blueyonder/etc or other pop3 accounts, the above features are not available, but in the "advanced" tab, there is a tickbox, which reads: "remove copy from server after retrieving the message";
if ticked, just UNtick and you can delete the messages safely from your computer (as your internet/ mail provider will still have them on their email platform). Note, that, again, your quota may state "full", so you need to, periodically, manually sign into your webmail to remove the superfluous messages.
3) I do not think that there is a way to automate this, since the remote email platform is not part of your own machine/network, so it appears, it boils down to good old-fashioned housekeeping. Also, an automated services would delete messages regardless. Hope this helps
