I read that it's safe/ok to clear all contents inside /var/folders and saves GB and computer goes faster. Any feedback for this ?

How can I change the apple ID on my iPhone to clear all contents and installation?

I still have my iPhone 4s, Which I stopped using when the screen died. I bought a new iPhone 5s. Since, I've changed my Apple ID main e-mail address.
Today I had the screen of the old 4s fixed. Now I want to clear all contents and installation so that I can sell it.
Problem is, that it keeps asking me to verify my Apple ID with my old e-mail address, which obviously doesn't work.
I've allready changed the Apple ID e-mail address in the Apple-ID area in settings. But this doesn't help.
Does anyone know the way out of this?!?

Copy distribution list to all content services user folders

We have an Outlook distribution list PST file that current resides in a Windows file server. This gets pushed out the the personal folder of each user overnight.
Going forward, we need to push this PST file to all the Content Services user personal folders (Users-A, Users-B ... Users-Z).
I created a single superuser that has all administrative rights to all the users personal folders. And I can upload a file through the webdav http interface.
with the "Upload" button while I'm "Switched to Administrative Mode" only.
And I can't see the users personal folders while using the Oracle Drive nor
thru a Network drive.
Is there a way of pushing this to all the users' personal folders???

I tried that but it is not showing the shared distribution list for moving.
I found 1 sap BC office document which stats that moving the distribution list form Private to public is not possible due to security reason.
So, no options for me and to create manual shared distribution list.

All content on IPhone5 wiped after 6.0.1 update

I downloaded two albums from iTunes Match to my iPhone 5 late last night as usual. To my horror this morning I've found that those two albums I downloaded are now the only music saved on the phone. Previously i had 5-7gb of music downloaded from itunes match but this has been deleted. Checking on Settings > About, confirms the number of songs are for the two albums only.
I thought this may have been an iTunes Match issue, but videos and podcasts from their separate apps have also been removed. It's almost like someone has set the clear all content setting.
Only discovered this today but updated to iOS 6.0.1 on Friday which is my only guess as to what caused this. Music, videos etc was definitely there prior to this. Anyone else experience this?
Guessing I've now got the fun job of downloading my music again...

View all contents of a Parent folder in Bridge cs5

Is it possible to view all contents of sub folders in a parent folder?
Example:
Ive got a folder called "stock photos", and inside i have sub-folders: "airplanes", "alien", "animals", "backgrounds", "Beach"... etc to organize the contents. Is it possibe in bridge to view all containing photos as thumbnails at once? It seems like adobe would have thought of this already and have it as a feature in Bridge.
Ive got one work-around in mind, but it would take some extra work re-organizing the (probably thousands) of stock photos my company has accumulated over the years. The work around would be - keep all stock photo files in one folder, but tag them with metadata, and use the filter panel to narrow down my options. I mention this because i know someone will post this as a solution.
What do you all do to best organize your stock photos?

You mean see the contents of the child folder, I guess.
It is as simple as this: view>show items from subfolders.

her contacts are connected directly with the Google Server so as long as they are saved to her Gmail account she should be 100% fine.. the only contacts she may lose are the ones that she added directly onto the phone and did not sync to her Gmail account.. so you should just double check with her on that

It sounds like it may have been synced to a different computer/itunes library before. To prevent automatic syncing, go to iTunes preferences. In the Device tab chck the box that ways prevent iPods.. from syncing automatically.

IPod clears itself of all contents

My iPod is just coming up for the end of its warranty and wouldn't you know it, things have started going worng!
Two main issues, one, that it has started pausing when attached to a car cassette adapter plugged in(and sometimes with my iPod headphones) and the second, which is the main issue, on several occassions, it has reset itself.
When it resets itself, it clears itself of all the songs held on it. I thought originally that I'd left it on play when it was on shuffle, but even if the battery runs out, it shouldn't clear all the songs should it? I've since found that it has happened when not left playing and once while I was on holiday, away from my laptop...which was very annoying. Any suggestions?

Try this: launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library. Import some photos and check to see if the same problem persists.
If you can't create and open a new, test library make a temporary, backup copy (if you don't already have a backup copy) of the library and try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home()/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder.

3 - launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: If you're moved your library from its default location in your Home/Pictures folder you will have to point iPhoto to its new location when you next open iPhoto by holding down the Option key when launching iPhoto. You'll also have to reset the iPhoto's various preferences.
If you can create and use a new library the problem lies with your current library. In that case make a temporary, backup copy (select the library and type Command+D) and apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Select the options identified in the screenshot.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

can anyone say Function module which clears the contents of Subscreen when navigated from subscreen to subscreen.
MY Problem:
i have 6 subscreen.(A,B,C,D,E,F) each subscreen has 100 checkboxes.
i checked some checkboxes of subscreen A. And navigated to subscreen B. And again navigated back to subscreen A.
I found all the checkboxes what i checked before are checked. I want them to be unchecked(screen not refreshed), when i come back to that subscreen.
Any Function module avaliable to refresh screen contents.

Don't think so. I am affraid you will have to clear all checkboxes one by one. Anyhow you can use field symbols to address them dynamically and clear their content.
