Is LiveCycle not included with the CS5 Design Premium package anymore?

I recently purchased my CS5 suite and went to fire up Livecycle and i do not see it included in the adobe startup list. Did Adobe remove this component from th CS5 Design Premium Package?

I appreciate your response. I have CS4 at home and had CS3 at work. Recently, at work we purchased four upgrades and one full version of the CS5 Master Collection. I am not a graphic designer. I work in a print production environment. I wanted to create a new form using the Acrobat templates so I attempted to create a form with the upgraded software. I was amazed that I could not find an option to create a PDF Form from scratch or by using a template in LiveCycle as I had done before in the earlier versions. I waited two hours on the phone with Adobe Support and finally got a response from the Sales Department. As you mentioned, Adobe Sales said they sell the product separately but that it is also included/bundled with Adobe Acrobat Pro (the CS5 purchase). However, Sales could not of course tell me how to access it. I created a form at home with my older version of software using LiveCycle's templates. I sent the file to myself at work and I was able to open it in LiveCycle in Adobe Acrobat X Pro - CS5 at work. Adobe Acrobat X Pro first recognizes that the file is designed in LifeCycle then Adobe Acrobat closes the PDF and reopens it in LifeCycle. So, I won't be upgrading at home too soon at least until I find out what else might be missing from CS5.

I have the CS5 Design Premium and want to buy After Effects and Premiere oder the Production Premium CS5 in the edu version. There are only the CC Versions of them. Can i still buy the Production Premium CS5 or CS6 in the edu version?

Where Can I Find Components And Footprints Not Included In The Circuit Design Suite Databases?

One of the most common questions asked by users of the Multisim and Ultiboard suite is about finding components. From time to time you may come across the need of a particular component or footprint (lanbdpattern) that is not included in the master databases. So where can you look for these components? There are multiple places to begin your search, both 3rd party and from NI that are free and readily accessible:

You will find a vast collection of already built parts in Multisim and Ultiboard formats that have been submitted by users like you that have register on kittmaster's database and that actively upload custom component creations. I encourage you to register and share.
NI has recently created the Circuit Design Community in response to requests from users around the world. The Circuit Design Community aims to provide an open resource for designers that need or would like to share Multisim components, Ultiboard footprints, sample design files and other documents that are of use for the design community. The basic difference between the Circuit Design Community and this Circuit Design Discussion Forum is that the Community is tailored for document and file sharing, whereas the Forum is designed with problem solving, tip sharing and general support questions in mind. Again, I encourage you not only to search, but also to share any components you may have created that are useful for other designers.
Most manufacturers that offer SPICE or PSPICE models in their websites would typically allow you to download them free of charge, in most cases accepting a license agreement. The first step is to identify who the manufacture of the part you are looking for is, as well as cross-reference manufacturers. Then search in their corresponding websites for the product folder or design resources section. If you find SPICE or PSPICE models you can easily import those when creating a new component, remember that Multisim is highly compatible with PSPICE models, and every new release adds more compatibility. If you cannot find the model, it does not hurts to call or email the manufacture and ask directly if they have such models, in many cases they are not advertised in the web.
Last, but not least, use your favourite internet search engine and see if anyone out there has posted or worked on a similar model.

Did not get Acrobat 9 with my CS5 Design premium download ???

I have the license key sent by my company for CS5 Design Premium. We upgraded from a previous version of CS3 and I was issued a new laptop to install the upgrade. — I no longer have the computer with the CS3 version or a disk from the past. This is a fresh install upgrade downloaded from the website.
When I install there is no Acrobat 9 in the list. — I hear it is on another CD for the hard copy purchases, but I do not have this. So where is someone with just the company issued license key supposed to get Acrobat 9? — It is advertised as part of design premium. (I wouls hope Adobe does better in the future with this and actualy considers the customer experience as part of their experience design. This is not well though on Adobe's part, and very inconvenient that I do not get all my company paid for in the online download. Once again, I am dissapointed in Adobe's level of preparedness, which is no longer a surprise from their history of software delivery.)

Did this work? I've done a download for CS5. It did have the download for acrobat but it didn't install as it wasn't required as I've got CS4. However, I needed to unistall CS4 to create more disc space. Now the acrobat doesn't work. I went back to download and tried to download the CS5 (although I know it's the same) because it kept shutting dpwn after an error stating that it's a suite product and needs activating - blah blah blah open photoshop or another suite component - nothing. How'd you get yours working?

Can't download the Adobe CS5 Design Premium package

I'm trying to download The Adobe CS5 design premium on a 10.10 Yosemite Macintosh laptop. The download gets to 3.76 GB then pauses for an eternity, I don't understand what the issue is. I've tried to re-download the file three times with the same result. One of the attempts prompted me to update to Java 8, which I did, but that didn't do anything.

What exactly is included with the new adobe photography package?

okay first off, I'm in love with all of these massive changes all the way around.
secondly, I'm a bit of a hot mess.
For starters I am upgrading my poor old PC to a Mac (it was time!) this means I loose all my previous software. (It's time to upgrade as well anyhow) I currently have cs4 installed, and also lr4 On my PC. I pick up my new Mac mini tomorrow, and would like to have a solid game plan.
I'm having a hard time understanding what the new cloud options are, as well as the photography package for $9.99/mo. With this, is creative cloud included? do I have to purchase creative cloud membership in addition to the photography package? Does this include full use versions of both photoshop and Lightroom? And lastly what is the benefit vs buying lr5 outright (physical software) and / or buying the full download use of Photoshop and using via creative cloud. My how times have changed.... I feel so out of the loop, however extremely excited for the changes and inspiration.

My understanding is that the $9.99 photographer package includes Photoshop CC 2014 and Lightroom CC 2014, as well as 2G of cloud storage. It doesn't include access to the rest of the apps in the CC universe (which you'd get with a full CC package), nor does it include TypeKit as a part of the package. It also includes access to Lightroom apps for the iPad and iPhone, and the Photoshop Mix app for the iPad.

Why is remote control not included with the purchase of macbook pro

I purchased my 4th macbook pro (late 2013) to replace my 2010model, and to my surprise, there was no remote control included anymore. I don't know since when this started. But I just don't get that, why Apple has to cut corner on such expensive laptops with a price tag close to 3000usd(after tax). I have purchased three macbook pro before including the 2010 model. I found no remote control to be a big disappointment. I am not asking Apple to make anything cheap. But they should have treated generous customers with generosity.

Is the registration process for CS5 Design Premium different than CS4?

When I installed my CS4 Design Premium the program would ask me to register from time to time until I finally did it to stop the reminder from coming up.
Is the CS5 Design Premium registration process the same?

I can't imagine why not, but you really should call Adobe sale to make sure you've got all the proper credentials.

What software is included with the MBP 2009?

Am setting up my new MacBook Pro which I brought home from the store yesterday. I used Migration Assistant to transfer my data and existing applications. iLife apps appear to have been replaced with newer versions, but I've found no trace of an iWork trial, MS Word trial, Comic Life, Omni Outliner... no Quicken, games, demos, etc.
So I'm wondering what's included and where it's located...
The computer came with 2 DVDs: Mac OS install DVD and Applications Install DVD.
On the Applications DVD, if I select customize install, I see:
-cpu help files
-iPhoto (grayed out, cannot be selected)
-iMovie (grayed out)
-Garage Band
-iWeb
-iDVD
Should there be another DVD?
Where is the complete iLife restore software located?
Should there be a remote unit to use with Front Row, as is the case with the iMac Intel, or is that not included with the MBP?

Cannot re-download The Adobe CS5 Design Premium to new laptop

I would like to re-install the CS5 Design Premium software that I've purchased last year because I would like to install it on my new laptop. Now I am using my toshiba laptop so I need to re-install the software, but when I logged on into the adobe account and download it, It said that it has been over 30 days and I can't download/re-install it anymore. Is there any solution for this problem?

Cs5 design premium content dvd

the cs5 design premium installed from the application dvd, never requesting the content dvd. what is this dvd for and how is it to be used?

Is that any different than the discs in the digital download? I had 3 other files to download that contained extra content. The Illustrator and InDesign ones say "Download contains additional value-added content such as fonts not included with the trial version." The Creative Suite one just says it's extra fonts. However all 3 discs appear to have the same fonts and nothing else (besides documentation). I kinda thought 'additional value-added content" meant more than just fonts.

How to go from PS CS5 trial to full CS5 Design Premium?

I'm about to install the trial version to check out PS CS5's new features. When I'm ready to purchase, I will buy the Design Premium package, not the individual PS program. What will be the correct procedure then? Uninstall (or delete) the PS trial program before installing Design Premium? Or is there a way to transition from the trial software to the full Design Premium package?
Byt the way, this will be an upgrade from CS4 Design Premium.

You dont have to Uninstall or delete Photoshop CS5 , just Install Design premium normally as you would do . It will notice that trial of Photoshop is available and would license it with Design premium serial number on 2nd launch.

Problem purchasing CS5 Design Premium Educational Edition

Hi all,
I want to purchase the CS5 Design Premium Educational edition.
I live/work in Singapore and am attending distance learning at the New York Institute of Photography. While my classmates are enjoying the benefits of using CS5 with student discount, I am stuck using GIMP, which while good, does not offer the same functionality or stability as Photoshop.
The reason Adobe customer services give is that it's because I live in Singapore but my educational credentials are from USA. These need to match for the purchase to proceed.
Surely this should not matter? Does anyone know of any way I can make this happen?

This forum is not officially monitored by Adobe. It is a user-to-user forum. As such, the answers you get are primarily speculation and not authoritative when it comes to sales and licensing issues. My recommendation would be to call Adobe Customer Support and ask to speak with a supervisor. Explain the situation that although you are resident in Singapore, you are part of a distance learning, internet-based course based in New York with the New York Institute of Photography. If the supervisor cannot assist you, ask to be connected to a manager. Eventually, you should be able to talk with someone who understands your situation and can resolve the issues.
