Is sapjco.jar still valid in EP7?

Hi,
I'm migrating some EP5 iViews to EP7 and want to know if I should still include sapjco.jar in \dist\PORTAL-INF\private\lib or whether this have been superceeded by another .jar in EP7?
Strangely enough we are running EP5 iViews on EP6, and have a version of sapjco.jar from Service Marketplace. Should I continue to use this or is there a newer version of this jar delivered with EP7? I searched by EP7 installation jars but couldnt find sapjco.jar as part of the installation.
Any advice appreciated.

Yeh, I got it working. I was just doing something dumb. The UI to insert it
will be a nice addition. Overall, I love the app. It has more than doubled
productivity for heavy web UI stuff

Sapjco.jar migration from WL8 to WL10

Hi All,
Recently we migrated from weblogic 8 to weblogic 10 both are 32 bit.
We have below libraries and it is working fine with weblogic 8.
librfccm.so , libsapjcorfc.so , sapjco.jar.
Is there any new version of sapjco.jar file which supports weblogic 10.
I got sapjco3.jar but we don't want to use this because it is completely different.
Instead we would like to have sapjco.jar with com/sap/mw/jco/JCO supporting classes and also supports weblogic 10.
Any help really appreciated.

did you manage to resolve your issue? I also got the same problem. We are upgrading to Weblogic 8 to 10 and I am still using SAP JCO 2.1.9 version and it is failing without exception and Ican't use JCO3 because it is completely different.
Do you know that JCO3 works with weblogic 10? If so i can try to change my JAVA coding to adapt changes from JCO3.
Could please advise how you resolved the issue?

HT5498 Is this information still valid after one and a half years? Are the lightning-to-HDMI or lightning-to-VGA cables the only available options to send video to a TV set?

There is a relative using an iPhone 5s and is interested in streaming video from her iPhone to an old TV set; unfortunately the TV set does not have either HDMI or VGA connectors; therefore we figured out getting a "lightning-to-30 Pin adapter", plug it to the iPhone 5s and use an old "Composite AV Cable" to do the trick. However, I found this post informing video streaming is not possible through the "lightning-to-30 Pin adapter", but -considering its post date- I would like to know if that info is still valid or if something has changed since then. Obviously changing the TV set is not an option, we have a limited "budget" to solve this.

Thanks for the feedback Rudegar. We're not planning using airplay mirroring using AppleTV, but directly as it used to work with old iPhone 4S. Just attaching the composite video cable (30pin-to-Composite) to the iPhone 4 worked on almost any TV set equipped with composite jacks. Maybe I have to rewrite the question to "...available wired options to send video to a TV set?"

Thank you for your reply, however, that doesn't work in this case. I've tried to detect the serial using Coconut Identity as well, it doesn't work. ASP shows nothing (for both X and 9).
Would there be a serial on the motherboard or somewhere where I have yet to try looking?
p.s. for your information, ASP displays the ROM version in OS 9 and n.a. for the rest of the fields, in OS X, even the ROM version is not displayed. I tried 10.0.3, 10.1, 10.2 and 10.3 (via Xpost)

Export still valid after approving updates

Hi,
I am currently in a process of setting up replica servers for each site. I do this with an export of the content and the database.
Yesterday I have approved 5 new updates on my WSUS master server.
My question is can I still use that content + db or do I have to make an export again from the master?

The metadata will be overridden at the synchronization. Therefore, the export/import makes no sense. But copying the content folder will reduce the download time.

Is my Adobe CC for photographers license still valid if I change from Windows 32 bit to 64 bit?

I've bought a license for Adobe CC for photographers (costs 10$ a month), and now going to upgrading my operating system from Windows 7 32 bit to 64 bit. I know that there is a 64 bit version for Photoshop, don't know about Bridge. So, is my license still valid if I upgrade, or do I have to buy a new CC program for photographers for the 64 bit version of Photoshop??

Good to know information :
You can install and activate Creative Cloud subscription Apps on 2 computers. (Either on Mac or Windows as per your choice) .
Either it may be 32 bit or 64 bit , it does not matters, the subscription will be counted based of number of activation done as per Machine ID's.
Before , you upgrade the computer to 64 bit, better to Sign out from Creative Cloud desktop application.
If the Machine ID changes just in case , it will be counted as 2'nd activation.

Even though, if you had exceeded Maximum activation limit(Already activated on 2 computers) , still you can reset the activation count to Zero, so that you can again activate CC subscription on any of 2 computers as per your choice.

Problems with sapjco.jar and the EP6 SP19

download the latest version of sapjco.jar, librfc32.dll,sapjcorfc.dll from service market place which is compatable to your OS.
then place the two dll files under windows/system32 folder
even if it doesnt work,
in the createclient() method give user id and password, language,host name in capital letter(upper case)
and try it

We tried to install Windows6.1-KB2275950-x64.msu on my win7 desktop (win7 sp1 64bit) to fix some DCOM/TLS issue,
We followed the instruction as below:
To use one of the hotfixes in this package, you must create a registry subkey. To do this, follow these steps:
Start Registry Editor.
Locate the following subkey in the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\LDAP
Create a new REG_DWORD value that is named UseHostnameAsAlias, and set the value to anything other than zero.
Exit Registry Editor, and then restart the computer.
however after restart pc, we failed to install this hotfix.
The error message is "The update is not applicable to your computer".
The error in setup of event viewer as below:
Windows update could not be installed because of error 2149842967 "" (Command line: ""C:\Windows\system32\wusa.exe" "C:\Downloads\Windows6.1-KB2275950-x64.msu" ")
is this hotfix still valid to windows 7 sp1 64bit?

This Hotfix is only applied to Windows 7 Enterprise, Windows 7 Professional and Windows 7 Ultimate without Serveice pack 1.
Therefore it's indeed not valid to Windows 7 SP1.

I have some short questions.
I have today a full CS6 license.
If I buy a CC membership, could I still use my CS6 applications?
Also, If I cancel my CC membership, is my CS6 licenses still valid and usable?
I want to be sure that the day I decide to cancel my CC, I cab stil use CS6... :-)
It's not clear for me so far...
In the same way, I want to be sure that I can use both CC AND CS6 at the same time.
(on the same computer or, on different one; as CC on my iMac and CS6 on my Macbook)

If you own a license for CS6 you own it for life. Machine capabilities might advance beyond being able to use it, but you always have it.
If you have a full CC subscription it includes the option to install CS6 software but that software is part of the CC subscription, so if the subscription ends so does the use of the CC-acquired versions. Your licensed software still remains useable if you end the subscription.
As far runing both CC and CS together, it should be possible, though in my case CC decided to assume control of my suite programs to an extent where it changed how they are set up. So I can't answer regarding how things get along when you mix them in the same system.

1z0-850 is an exam not a certification. ( you could say you meant the certification associated with 1z0-850 ... ( Java 5 SE OCA ) ).
Without going into more complexity than I have time for ... probably best to continue with your Java 7 SE OCA/OCP.
If you follow through the certification and exam links at at http://certification.oracle.com who should be able to see more .... but be aware the Java 7 SE OCA/OCP is more to oracle standard than the Java 5/6 SE ( I think I read you could go direct to OCP on those in one exam ..... but I'd have to double check and I dont have time).

Off Contract discount still valid?

One of my phones just went off contract. I went to to attempt to get the $25 discount (I have 14GB data plan) on myverizon and it says that "no promotions or discounts apply to this line". When I called customer service they said only Edge phones got that discount. What are the steps necessary to get this discount if it is still valid?

I see another article asking this simple question and never answered. Applications such as BackUp Exec as well as random disconnects to iSCSI drives during our testing in 2012 R2 all suggest the ol' IRPStackSize value needs to get set (Symantec suggests
30 decimal). Why are we having this basic networking problem in 2012R2 64bit OS & 10GB Nic's? Is this value still valid to use in newer OS's?

Based on my research, I'm sorry that currently it appears that there is not an official documentation which describes the IRPStackSize in newer Server OS, like Windows Server 2012/2012 R2. However, I find a related article which suggests the recommended
value of IRPStackSize on Windows Server 2012 systems. You can use it for a reference, especially the "[Windows]: IrpStackSize should have the recommended value" section.

At the meantime, we can follow the steps below to determining an appropriate size of IRPStackSize:
1. Set the value from 20, increase the value even more
-- Generally, the IRPStackSize value range is from 11 (0xb hexadecimal) to 50 (0x32 hexadecimal).
2. IRPStackSize registry key name is case sensitive
3. When you set the value, restart the Server service instead of rebooting system
