Is there a compatibility issue between Acrobat 10 and MS Office 2010?

I'm having a problem printing to a PDF with MS Office 2010. The program locks-up before the filename screen is displayed. I can SAVE AS a PDF, but not print to a PDF. I has worked previously, but started having problems a couple of months ago. I've run both Acrobat and MS Office "fix it" programs, but no help. Acrobat seems to work fine with Quicken. Any ideas? Interesting, and yes, I can from the Acrobat Ribbon in MS Word. Now I'm really confused...must be something associated with the Acrobat printer driver I have installed.

Hi Drbobdog, there shouldn't be a compatibility with Android OS 2.2.3. There may be a compatability with the device itself.

Sonos uses its own priopietory wireless protocol SonosNet to distribute audio data among all its products, thus it should not affect other network devices which use standard WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n protocol at all though they may share the same radio channel for wirless signaling.
On my dual-band (5 GHz / 2.4 GHz) Airport Extreme staion, I select the option "802.11n Only (5GHz) - 802.11n (2.4GHz)" and turn on "Use wide channels" in Wireless configuration in order to use only 802.11n protocol and more radio channels to achieve maximum wireless bandwidth of 400 Mbps. This bandwidth is necessary for quick Time Machine backup to NAS connected to the Airport Extreme station through Ethernet cable. So my iMac and MacBook Pro always connected to the Airport Extreme through 5 GHz radio channel with 802.11n protocol whereas my iPhone 4S always connected through 2.4 GHz radio channel with the same protocol.
In my living room Sonos ZP-90 (same as new CONNECT model) zone player is connected to Airport Extreme directly through Ethernet cable (recommended by Sonos) and Sonos S5 (same as new PLAY:5 model) zone player in bedroom is connected wirelessly through SonosNet protocol to the ZP-90 zone player in living room.
These devices are in operation simutaneouly most of the time. Music is playing through the Sonos ZP90/S5 zone players througout the day, I am streaming viedo through Internet (fibre broadband 25 Mbps) on my MacBook Pro in bedroom or iMac in living room or reading news on my iPhone. So far so good and have no encounter any interference problem for about three years. Further more bandwidth for 802.11n protocol does not seem to be affected at all.
In fact with a low power Fujitsu USB drive (2.5" / 500 GB, designed for notebook) plug into USB port of Airport Extreme, it can be used as NAS drive for Sonos music distribution system without any problem. Just transfer all files from Music folder in my home directory on iMac into this NAS drive and set it up as music source in "Manage > Music Library Settings" in Sonos Controller for Mac application will do. Though the same drive can be served as Time Machine's backup disk as well, an independent full-fledged NAS drive for Sonos and Time Machine backup is better long-term solution for reliability and performance. With the NAS configured as sole music source, you do not need to keep any computer powered on all the time in order to play music through the Sonos system.

I just want to know if there are issues between R12 and (Forms 4.5 and Reports 2.5)? I have been using 6i since I started in the oracle so I'm a little new to this.

As my understanding there is no issue for Forms 4.5 and Reports 2.5 with R12.
You can develop report with Report 6i can be deployed with R12.You cannot use Forms 4.5, Reports 2.5 or Developer (Forms/Reports) 6i with Oracle EBs R12 as it is not certified. The only supported version is Developer 10g

Has anyone noted any compatibility issues with Captivate and Yosemite?

I had the same issue. Updating resolved this as well.
I tested with Captivate 7 and almost everything seemed to work fine. I tested with an existing project file containing TEB's, Motion recording, a third party drag 'n drop widget, and a playbar with a TOC. This all seemed to work fine both in preview mode as after publishing. I also tested with Captivate 6 although I didn't publish anything. Here, everything seemed to work fine as well. However this was only SWF.
As jpm226 described for 8, previewing HTML5 doesn't seem to work with Captivate 6 and 7 either. Chrome gives a "This webpage is not available" notification. Publishing however, does seems to work.
Fortunately, the client we work for that asks us to use Captivate 7, also asks for SWF output. So I'll continue to use Yosemite for now.

Compatibility Issues between Premium and Standard CS5.5?

Hi all
Our on going saga at my workplace I hope is drawing to a conclusion.
Can anyone tell me if we have one machine with Premium CS5.5 and one machine Standard CS5.5 will there be any issues with sharing files?
We do share files alot on our network between us - mainly indesign files and illustrator files.
Any ideas?

It’s the programs that are included. With Standard you don’t get Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash or the Extended version of Photoshop.

Is there a compatibility issue between Adobe Camera Raw, CS5, and Windows 8.1?

I have a new computer with Windows 8.1. I installed Photoshop CS5 (which runs fine under Windows 7) but now after editing images in camera raw and clicking on the Open Images button, it takes several attempts to pass the images on to open in Photoshop CS5. Is there a fix for this compatibility problem?

Actually I have now discovered the cause of the problem. My speakers are Boston Acoustics BA735 digital speakers. I discovered that there was an Analog out put from the sound card and by changing the speaker connections they are now working albeit in Analog whereas previously they were connected Digitally.
The new drivers supplied by Microsoft have obviously switched the output to analog.
Are there any Drivers available which would allow me to revert to normal digital working.

That "test" only implies a number is incorrect in the add-on, nothing more should be read into that message.
Norton, and many other security software vendors, don't usually support pre-release Beta version web browsers. Firefox only checks the '''maxVersion''' specified in the install.rdf file for the extension that is installed in Firefox, which is a very minor point as far as "compatibility" goes, and that is "set" by the developer of the add-on. The burden for true compatibility is on the developer.

When I last tried to upgrade to a newer version, a number of my Norton 360 features would not function and I got a popup message saying that there was some sort of compatability problem. I've subsequently had to go back to V4.

Ne there aren't any "issues" with Norton. Norton released a compatibility patch for Firefox 6 last Tuesday, a couple of hours after Firefox 6 was released.

Now, we are again waiting to upgrade to Mavricks because of the way it handles user permissions. Does anyone using Mavericks now also connect to a EMC Celerra file share? Thanks!

Keynote compatibility issues between iOS and OSX versions

Please help! I have been using iOS version of Keynote for creating and presenting on my iPad for the last 12 months and it has worked really well. I recently purchased a Mac and installed Keynote and opened some of my recent presentations on it using iCloud. I was able to use the better functionality on the OSX version then save it and open on the iPad to present. Yesterday, however I opened my main presentation on the iPad and I got a screen saying "this presentation may look different on your iOS device than on your Mac. To preserve the original, tap open copy". I opened the copy version and the entire presentation was greyed out with all the images gone. I opened it on the Mac and it was also greyed out so I am unable to open it on any device now. The original is still there (thank God!) but I cannot find a way to open it at all. Thanking you in advance for any assistance!

Tom Gewecke is correct, "...It's not available on your Mac except via downloading with a browser...".
If you have an iCloud account log into your iCloud account choose iWork icon on the far right.
On your computer choose which files to upload. Choose which file type you want to upload then choose the appropriate tab, Keynote, Numbers, Pages. Upload your files to the appropriate tab.
There is a gear in the upper right click it choose Upload Document.
From iCloud you will not be able to work on the file, however if you have the iOS device with Keynote, Numbers, Pages, installed you will be able to work on them with your iOS device.
If you are running Lion then changes made to that file from your computer, or iOS device will be synced to iCloud, your iOS device, and your computer. That keeps your iWork documents synced.

Help!!! Is there any compatibility issues between Seagate 7200.7 & K8N Neo

Hey Guys, need help here, I posted a boot & restart problem a few weeks ago (posted here PC Freezes, Monitor Blank, Power LED ON & Fans Spinning), ever since I bought this seagate 7200.7 80GB sata drive i've been getting weird troubles, anyway i thought its been fix when syar2003 suggested to put it into port 3/4 and also just bout 2 days after that i bought this new PSU. since then havent been using my rig a lot coz of my work, anyway i got a few days timeoff from work so i could spent more time with my rig ehehehehe.
Well I notice that i was still getting random restarts & freeze specially when my rig is idle, downloading & surfing mainly, CnQ is off, havent been doin OC, MemTest86 shows no error with my RAM. Anyway the problem seems to have gotten worse just about 2days ago, i left my PC turned on downloading some torrents, while i was doin some chores at home, while i noticed just about for every hour it keeps on restarting, so i was kind of worried, ive check event viewer in Admin tools it doesnt show any apps error, so I did some troubleshooting, funny thing is while i was using it, it just froze on me but HDD light is active, anyway I restarted it took about 5-6 mins. to detect the seagate drive booted to windows but froze again w/ HDD light still blinking. I immediately loaded up SeaTools to check for bad sectors on this new drive to determine if its defective, on the first run just about 16% percent it started showing bad sectors but something was fishy HD is not responding anymore, I mean it's as if it wasnt there being accessed by the PC, I left it off for an Hour, check cables & stuff, loaded up again SeaTools weird thing is it passed perfectly no Bad Sectors on the second run, i did some benchmark no change in performance, and up until now almost a day, it has not been acting up on me, and ive been up all night.

I don't know about the NCQ feature and how it affects running drives
w/native NCQ on NF3 250 .It was a speculation only .
But the coincidence with yours and the guys with maxtor DM10's brings me
to think this could be the culprit .
The disks i have maxtor DM9's sata 150 works like a charm .
They also have both molex and satapower connector so you can choose witch to use.
I had so many strange things happening with the seagate so it will will be
lying in the drawer and collect dust i guess .Didn't take the chance using it .
I did though have a slight overclock using it on sata1/2 but way below 230
(only 12mhz overclock made corruption and even at 200mhz).
Strange thing happend to me to with seatools (like your experience),
that it reported a bunch of errors and suggested rma.
But tested on another pc it is completly okay.
Perhaps todays bios handle it better , i don't know . And it's hard to
test atm as it will mean breaking my 0+1 raid .
What i remember was making it work okay was :
-on port 3/4
-changed hidden setting under IDE setup , from disabled to enabled automatic block mode
-Using Microsoft IDE drivers

Data DVD compatability issues between PC and Mac

I own a macbook g4 12" 1.5ghz and have recently created over 30 data file based dvds using disk utility and dvd-r's speeds 1-16 and 1-8 phillips brand.
When I put these dvd's in a pc the drives do not recognize the dvd's or anything being in the drive. I have tried these dvd's on 5 different pc's all with either dvd burners or roms.
When I put the dvd in the mac it recognizes the dvd and the files.
I found this to happen with 2 other macs in which I have used to burn dvd's (they do not show up when in a pc).
What can I do to view these data dvd's on any pc?

Try this instead.
In the Finder select File --> New Burn Folder. Drag your files into this folder and then click the Burn button while its window is open. This should make an ISO 9660 format disk that can be read by both Macs and Windows machines.
