Is there a factory unlock that I can buy to unlock an IPhone 5c locked to Sprint

Please help. I bought an IPhone 5c locked to Sprint from an eBay seller. It was only slightly discounted so not cheap! My daughter searched in eBay and we paid with her birthday money.
I thought any phone could be unlocked as did not think eBay would allow anyone to sell a phone that could not be unlocked.
I took the phone to my local shop but they say only Sprint can unlock the phone. The seller claims the phone can be unlocked and says there are plenty of websites that offer this service. He says he has had many phones unlocked and I should not have any problems. He won't help in any way as says it is my responsibility to get the phone unlocked.
Sprint have confirmed the phone was previously on contract and the account was of good standing and if I provide the last known telephone number they will unlock it. I would prefer to do this or pay a reputable company to unlock the phone.
The ebay seller says he bought the phone brand new from a USA website And it was never on a contract.
He claims he "used the phone" but decided to stick to Samsung' hence the reason for selling it.
I suspect the seller bought the phone, could not get it unlocked and has conned me.
When the seller said he had been using the phone I assumed he had used it while working in the USA. He now claims when he says he used the phone that he only used it on wifi In the UK.
Sprint say I should ask for a refund if the seller cannot/will not provide the last known phone number.
I have asked for a refund and eBay have supported the seller saying I am not entitled to a refund as they say the item is as described.
I have looked on-line and I can see all the reputable companies offer an unlock service for almost every network except Sprint.
There are a very few companies claiming they can unlock the phone but I fear they are all scam sites as when you call no-one answers. They say to call and they will answer any questions Before placing your order. There are many bad reviews and there is not one review from anyone who has had a Sprint IPhone 5c unlocked.
Help. I always expected to pay for the phone to be unlocked, I am not expecting a free service but just want advice on where to go to get the phone unlocked legally and safely With a reputable company.

Sorry, but unlocking can only be done by the provider, if this is supported by the provider.
If the provider does not offer unlocking the device, you'll have to sell it again, it can't be used with another SIM card.

To administer the computer - and to install new apps - you must be using an adminstrator account and use the adminstrator to do things such as installing apps, etc.
Which version of OS X are you running? Note that iOS is not the same as OS X.

Time Machine has been working just fine, but in the last week or two it has given up the ghost. I reset the connections to the drive, and it will basically save a few bytes of data and then hang.
Although Apple originally announced, prior to the release of the first 802.11n AirPort Extreme Base Stations (AEBSn), that it would support Time Machine backups to AirPort Disks, they removed that option before they did finally release the base station for sale.
Since then, Apple has posted (as you have noted) that they DO NOT support Time Machine backups to AirPort Disks. As far as I know, they have not changed from that position and those who do these backups find that they become corrupted over time. Sorry, but it sounds like you just confirmed that for yourself.

No. Again, this feature has never been supported by Apple for every generation of AEBSn released.

If your data backups are critical to you, then you will want to use a different solution for your Time Machine backup destination drive strategy. I would suggest that you connect your WD My Book directly to your Mac in the mean time.
Your other options would be to either use a Time Capsule (which interestingly does support TM backups to AirPort Disks) or a non-Apple solution like the Drobo FS or HP MediaSmart server.

Place the iPod in Recovery mode and then connect to yuor computer and restore via iTunes.

Since most people carry there phone with them every where they go, but might not carry there ID. Wouldn't it be nice if you could push the home button, even on a locked phone and be able to see an overlay on the picture that we chose that would have emergency information.
My locked screen has the earth planet that comes with the phone, I think its pretty. I want to be able to see that, and also the date and time. But I would also like to be able to have emergency information on the phone in case I am in an accident while riding my bike or walking.

Put your passcode in to unlock it.

There is no download available for version 3 that I am aware of - version 9 is the oldest available offered by Adobe. Serial numbers are only valid for the version they were purchased for.

You can drop the resolution a little, but it makes everything blurry.
OS X isn't as friendly like Windows is to give some UI adjustment, one of many major complaints about the platform that has gone unheeded for years now.
As a lifelong Mac user who's eyes are going due to age, I'm really liking Windows 7 more and more every day.
If you use Firefox, NoSquint and Theme Font & Size Changer add-ons, with a nice persona that makes better contrast, tweak the FF toolbars, you can at least make your web surfing tolerable on Mac's.
Also you can set a Control key in System Preferences > Universal Access plus a scroll wheel mouse, if you need to zoom in/out certain areas of OS X, however for a pernament UI scale solution there is none that's practical, unless you have a large room, a projector and a smooth wall.
A larger monitor won't work up close neither, however dropping the resolution and sitting back a bit might sharpen the images a bit.
The UI really needs to be adjustable and it's not.
