Is there a function to create a "subtotal line in Forms central order forms?

I created a simple order form in formscentral, I would like to know if there is a formula that will give me a sub total of any amounts entered into the cells, additionally I would like to be able to hve heach cell calculate a different price, so that once quantities are entered, it will calculate based on teh individual prices/ any suggestions?

Is there a way to create a table of contents listing the order of tabs(sheets) in a Numbers document?

I am planning my wedding and I have this huge Numbers document with 20+ tabs and I have plans to add many more tabs. Is there a way to create a table that has two columns: column 1= order that a tab appears, column 2=tab name? For example, my first three tabs are called Venues, Must Haves, and To Do List (in this order. I'd want this table of contents to be in the first sheet of the document, so it would be like sheet 1. Then I 'd want like the cells of column 1 to be like 2, 3, 4 (2nd, 3rd, 4th sheet in the document), and then the cells of column 2 to say Venues, Must Haves, and To Do List. I can make a tiny table of one cell in each sheet that I copied the name of the sheet and then do like a cell reference for column 2, but I'm having trouble w column 1.

There is no referential value for the order of the sheets, just the sheet name. Only two things I can think of to suggest:
Do the same thing for the first column that you do with the second (i.e. put a referential column in the same table as the Name and point to that).
Seriously consider using a word processor program. Numbers is probably the wrong tool.

Is there a way to create a new PDF from part of a form?

I would like to create a PDF form that is really several forms. A master form and several forms like Form A, Form B and Form C. The idea is to be able to fill out the Master form and have it populate the like fields in the other forms. What I would like to accomplish is to have buttons/scripts for each Form A, Form B and Form C that would output each one to a new PDF. If I wrap each form in a subform, is there a way I can output that subform to a new PDF? Or is there another approach I can take?
Maybe I could put all the forms in a package but somehow automatically populate the like fields in the other forms without exporting and importing data?

Acrobat Forms has has Personal Field Names, PFN, that can be used to import and export personal data since version 4. Samples are included on the distribution CD-Rom. forms\PFN

I checked the EINE table to verify the Infor Record was created for consignment
In MIGO I use the following:
Goods receipt - other - movement type 501K
material, vendor, qty entered
error msg: purchase info record not founf in purchasing organization??

Create a new line item in sales order

Hi,
I have to create a new line item in a sales order. The scenario is that if we donot find the desired quantity from a plant. Then we have to go ahead and pick the remaining quantity from another plant and automatically create a new line item.The new plant is picked from a custom table so u need not worry about it.
According to me I will have to use the BAPI for it but one constraint is that while creating a sales order the order number assignment is not done until saved. So what can be done in the case if its a new document.
Kindly let me know if there is any appropriate user exit or if someone has worked on a similar requirement.

Thanks for your response. I have tried to use these exits already but the problem dat comes here is dat when we try to use the BAPI we donot have any sales document created in the first instance(i.e. while creating an order) so the BAPI returns error and when i tried to populate the itabs in the program directly the new values just wont get processed.
I think like: in case its a new document and we face this scenario I can just terminate the document creation and create a new document using the BAPI with proper plant assignments.But i am doubtful about the stability of this process.

How to create the service lines in a sales order using Process_order API

I have to create the service lines in a Config to order using process Order API. When i am trying to create a sercvice line , it is comming as new line all together. but i need that one to happen in the configuration itself after the option item but not like standalone line.
what are the manditory fields for service lines to create using Process_order API.

Is there a tool or method for editting line elements on a pdf form?

We have recently created about 200 different acrobat forms with field elements. We started with MS Word and converted to PDF using Acrobat Professional then we added in the form elements. However the customer wants many lines removed or modified, table borders changed etc. Is there a tool out there that will allow me to edit the pdf directly and delete a line or fill in a gap in a table? We do not want to revert back to the word versions and start all over again.
As an example please view this file: http://kendallrace.com/cas.pdf We need to remove that half outlined table cell in the upper left, we need to remove the underlines in the middle of the page. And sometimes the border of a table cell might not be outlined so we need to draw a line to finish the outline.

Function to create Input Dialog for Search Help

Hi Folks,
Is there any function to create the dialog to limit the search help result as the one that appears when you create the Search Help through the SE11.
This is because when I use F4IF_FIELD_VALUE_REQUEST I'm just being able to set one value to restrict and hopefully the functionality of intervales, exclusions, etc that the search help dialog when created through the se11 does have and haven't found it on F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST.
If you can share a little example I really appreciate it.

Is there a DIRECT link between SD schedule lines and delivery lines?

Is there a direct link (db table) between schedule lines on a sales order (VBEP) and the delivery lines (LIPS)?
Is there a function module to retrieve the data?
Example-
One order line with 3 schedule lines.
Each schedule line is for 2 units (total of 6 units).
Three deliveries made. 1st is for 2 units, 2nd is for 1 unit (backorder), 3rd is for 3 units.
You can use document flow (table VBFA) or examine the SD document in the delivery line (LIPS) and link the delivery line to the order line. The schedule line already references the order line.
I am using math to decrement the schedule lines used and make the link between VBEP and LIPS. It works fine. I need four records back....
1st schedule line for 2 units uses delivery 123
2nd schedule line for 1 unit (partial) uses delivery 124
2nd schedule line for 1 unit (partial) uses delivery 125
3rd schedule line for 2 units uses delivery 125
Like I said, it works. Just wondering if I missed a more direct link.

As far as Db link is concern , I dont remember exactly , but 3 years before I had written a report which see Sales order schedule lines and devilry note lines against sales order. If you see process wise. when ever you create PO ( production order you assign some qty using 101 movement type .. and against production order you also give sales order . When you do delivery ( run seclude run ) it delivers against that material number , its movement is 601 ...
but I remember theres a link between these tables, VBAP,VBFA AND VBEP , LIPS ... against every sales order you can see sales invoice ( VBRP,VBRK) and you can also see your delivery note number in document flow .
I hope thisll give you some guide line, as right now I can not tell you the exact business process but I remember I written a report in SD 4 years before , in which they required Delivery against production order and sales order ... One more thing you also have production order reference on delivery item number. ( field :Empst ) . I think in my project they were maintaining this field .

Modifying a PDF created from an Adobe Forms Central form.

I've created a PDF from an Adobe Forms Central online form (Create PDF from web page). I was surprised that all of the text fields were created for me, but was happy that I may not have to reverse engineer everything.
However the layout for the form is for a web-based submission and not really the right size for a PDF that I can attach in an email, potentially for printing. I'd like it to be printable at 8.5X11 if possible. There are also a few aspects of it that I would like to remove since it has instructions and the button for online submission. I want people to have the option of printing or filling out the form, saving it, and replying with it as an attachment.
Is it possible to modify the PDF at this point to reduce its size? Can I remove the instructions on what to do as well as the submit button, especially while saving the background coloring? It seems like there is quite a bit of wasted space with the headers/footers too. At 8.5X14, it still hangs over into page 2.

Steve, if you have access to the form in Formscentral, you can temporarily add a second page in Formscentral. Go to the place you want a page break, and click on the + button on the left top of the field where you want the break, and click on the "Page break". Now when you go to the HTML form it should show you only one page, with a next button to go to the second page. You could then copy the URL into Acrobat's "Create PDF" and get tha page. Then click on the next button in the HTML to go to the second page. You should be able to create the second page from that one too, and then combine the 2 pages in your PDF. When you're done you could remove the page break back in Formscentral.

I know how to use method set_table_for_first_display adding the sort criteria to calculate the subtotal, but my question is: if I mark the subtot option for field CUSTOMER, the subtotal line currently displayed is

and I also want the other texts to be displayed in the subtotal line. I tryed by marking SUBTOT for al the fields I wnat to display, but this is creating extra subtotal lines.
What I want is one subtotal line will all the texts, as described in the first layout.
How can I do this (if possible)?.

Text on a path with those same characters. Can be done in either Illustrator or Photoshop. For a more complex shape that is not text, use an Art brush in Illustrator. In Photoshop you would need to define the shape as a brush, then stroke a path with that brush using the Edit Menu.

How to create a multiple line label?

Hi,
I need to set a multiple line label. If I enter the following code:
strTitle = "<html><body>The first line, ";
strTitle = strTitle + "the second line.</body></html>";
jLabelTitle.setText( strTitle );
I can see a two line label. However, with such code, if I go to the UI editor for that frame, the jdev immediately crashed. I am using jdev 9i_902. If I go to UI editor for any other frames without such code, everything is fine, no problem at all.
Can anybody explain why? Is there other way to create a multiple line label?

Harvey - I have reproduced this in the production and the latest build. I have logged bug 2446385 but have found a work around. If
you code:

jLabel1.setText(strTitle);
It seems to work ok.
