Is there a JVM that runs on an 8051/8052 ?

We were wondering if anyone has a JVM on a thin OS that sits on an 8051.
We've developed this IC that's 12X faster than the original 8051. Its got 1 Mbyte Flash, 128K RAM, and a segmented page-switched 1 Kbyte internal stack (some compilers can also make use of the external 128K RAM for the stack) and has a top speed of around 20 Mhz (using 5 mA @ 1.8V). This translates to about 7 - 20 MIPS depending on the instructions you use in the 8051 instruction set.
If the JVM-OS combination for an 8051 does exist, we could run Java and related apps on a very low cost, hand-held, low power platform.

Another possibility is the Auto-Tag from Web feature in MediaMonkey, assuming artist & album details are present. I don't think ether tool fills out the <NumOfTracks> bit so you'll have to do that one by hand or ignore it.
Once you have the extra data in the tags you may find my UpdateTagInfo script useful for getting iTunes to notice the changes you've made.

We have a person living with us who cannot read but can use our integrated AV systems with out TV's because it is all picture or thumbnail based
For movies we have on a NAS drive I would like for the person to be able to connect to the NAS drive and choose a movie
on the home AV system this is done using an interface that shows all the movies as a tile with a graphic, generally the DVD cover photo or similar

Thanks for taking the time. Unfortunately no that does not solve it. Same as swipe it will get me there and it will show separate programs spaced out. The issue I am having is that all my open word files are bunched up in a pile on top of each other. I can see the edges of each one but I want them to be separated from each other enough that I can visually identify what file is what.

Is there a standard script that runs when a projector stops?

I know there are a couple of scripts I can use to set things up when starting a Director movie (startMovie and PrepareMovie). But are there also scripts I can use that run when the user chooses to shut down a projector? I want to run a script that sets the user's screen rez back to its original setting before shutting the projector down.

Yes, I am looking at that one. But isn't that script activated each time a .dir movie is exited, even if it opens a different .dir movie? Or, is it only activated when the 'PROJECTOR stops?
The script I want to run should only run when you exit the projector.

If you have the PS+LR bundle, then you should install the Creative Cloud app, first. One CC is installed, it’ll show all your eligible products on its Apps list, with Install buttons next to the apps you’re licensed to use, and Trial or Try next to the apps you’re not licensed to use.
The CC app is the first thing on the Adobe Products page. It is a desktop app, not tablet app.

Why is there no warning that firefox 4 doesn't run on a powermac? where can I find firefox 3.6 to reinstall?

So I responded to a prompt (while running Firefox 3.6 on my powermac) to download and install Firefox 4. Great! Well, the install and over-write of 3.6 ran smoothly, but trying to open Firefox 4 there was a message saying the hardware didn't support it. OK fine. But now I have no firefox. Where can I find 3.6.16 to install?
The Firefox 4 beta from a few months ago DID run, so this is curious.

This oversight is inexcusable!! I am also running 10.4.11 on a PowerPC Mac, and I received a notification advising me to update to Firefox 4.0. I checked first, and not only was there no warning that it was compatible only with Intel computers running 10.5 or higher, but it showed that it required 10.4 or higher! Mysteriously, this is gone now.
I lost everything, and now have nothing to lose by going back to Safari. You (Mozilla) axxholes have cost me a lot of time!!!

Brilliant reply. Simple English. Simple to follow instructions. And it worked immediately, first time.
Why couldn't the Apple and Adobe corporations get their programming right first time? We spend billions of UK pounds and US dollars with them. They reply with incompetent programming such as this, and arrogance to their customers in issuing faulty systems without doing the most rudimentary checks.
Anyway, I certainly shan't be buying another Apple as this is the most unreliable, most incomprehensible, most illogical and downright thoughtless shoddy piece of computer kit which I have ever owned. And all of it is rubbish ~ emails disappear, photos can't be organised properly, spreadsheets don't work, Pages is laborious… the list goes on and on...
But thanks to you Dominic, I have been able to load Adoble Flashj… maybe eyou should get a job at Apple, and set them all on the right course to how to work simply and correctly with customers.

You don't need an app to do this. Here's how you get the battery info. Go to Settings>More>Battery. This will show you all the active apps and their individual battery usage.

Do Applets that runs in multiple IE use the different JVM?

I found that it seems that applets that runs in multiple IE or multiple Firefox instance/process
share the same JVM instance on Windows.
Is it the same on Linux and other platforms?

1. For IE, I enabled java console.
2. Start one instance of IE with an applet page. Got a console.
3. Start second instance of IE (double click on it, not New Window!) with an applet page. Got a second console.
This tells me that the 2 instances do not share the VM.

Since Apple has discontinued Front Row for the Mac, is there a way to buy or copy the OS/Application that runs an AppleTV and install it on a computer.

You are telling us you read and tried the normal methods?
Boot Camp or Taskbar. Option on restart. "x" on startup. And none of those work.
