Is there a 'recent pages' toolbar button on Firefox 4?

I have moved to Firefox 4 on my office computer, but am reluctant to upgrade on my home computer, as I noticed Firefox 4 does not seem to have the little arrow to the right of the back/forward buttons which produces a drop-down menu of recent pages visited, which I find rather useful. Is there a straightforward/1-click way of getting this or a similar feature on Firefox 4?

You can find the New Tab button showing as a '+' on the Tab bar.
You can open the Customize window and drag the New Tab button that shows as a plus sign (+) from the Tab bar on another toolbar and it will become a regular toolbar button like the New Tab button that you have in Firefox 3 versions.
If you can't find the New Tab button then click the "Restore Default Set" button in the Customize window.
If you want the New Tab button at the far right end of the Tab bar then place a flexible space to the left of it.

Unable to open page from buttons within firefox IE whereasothers explorers can

In the firefox opened page when button for opening new sight within the page is clicked there is no effect and the page does not open wheras in inetrnet explorer same page can be opened please advice. For example in fire fox opened page when submitting information there is no change and the new page does not open.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

Need File-Save as-PDF as a toolbar button and one item on menu

What I'd like to see is a single menu line item and button added for File ->Save as ->PDF. Right now, you have to open three menus to perform this function,and there is not a toolbar button offered at all. Every document I save in this program is in PDF format, so it is frustrating to have to perform this action every time. There are keystroke combinations (Shift + Control + S) but I tend to use the mouse more than the keyboard.

Here's some barebones code to add a Save As toolbar button. It goes in a folder-level JavaScript file that you have to create and install properly:

As Dave mentioned, in Acrobat 10 you'll have to add the new button from "Tools > Add-on Tools" to the Quick Tools toolbar by right-clicking it and selecting "Add to Quick Tools Toolbar".

Check that you still have the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" placed on the Bookmarks Toolbar
* Make sure that you have the "Bookmarks Toolbar" visible: "View > Toolbars"
* Check in "View > Toolbars > Customize" that the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar
* If the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the Bookmarks Toolbar then drag it back from the Customize window onto the Bookmarks Toolbar
* If you do not see the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" then click the "Restore Default Set" button
You can only move the content from a toolbar onto other toolbars if all toolbars support that feature. You need to check that in the options of each toolbar.

Where has the recent pages button on the navigation bar gone?

On the V3 navigation bar we had a "go back one page" a "go forwards one page" and a "recent pages" button. The latter has disappeared in V4, which is inconvenient when I want to skip over several pages to get back to the one I wanted. Is there a way to retrieve this facility?

When you have restored them, there is a small change in functionality. The small dropdown marker next to the back/forward buttons has been removed. To get the list of sites, you can either right-clicking on the back/forward buttons, or hold down the left button until the list appears.

I use Firefox 3.6.17, Dutch version. At home i've updated to firefox 4. But I miss in this version one of the nicest features (i think): In the navigation toolbar on the left side (in version 3.x), you can browse back and forward and also there is a small arrow that shows the pages that you have visited (I don’t know the name in English, but in Dutch it is called recente pagina’s, literally translated recent pages). In version 4.x this little arrow has disappeared.
How can I get it back in version 4.x?

When I open Firefox there is absolutely no toolbar at the top. No 'File' 'Edit' 'View' 'Favorites' 'Tools' 'Help' buttons, no anything. Any idea's??

When I open Firefox there is no toolbar at all. I have tried deleting and then re-downloading it, but when I click on the icon on my desktop, all that comes up is a page that says "Widgets, Gadgets, RSS feeds, and more." There is no search box to surf the web, there is nothing.

No Toolbar buttons on OV page of serch result entity in Value Help PopUp

Hello Friends,
In Service Request, I am calling a value help search of CRM_KNOWART_S/KA SearchView for the field of assignment block "Related Knowledge Articles" (component GSDOCFLOW/HdrDocFlowEF ) . I am getting value help AND RESULTS ARE COMING.
Also, I am trying to call the overview page(CRM_KNOWART_H/KAGenDataFV) of results came to result list through a hyper link. I am able to navigate to Overview page of selected Knowledge Article. But I am NOT getting the TOOLBAR buttons which are already available in the Overviepage. Also, I can not see the Multi-select option in search result list of initial search result screen.
Note: Since the Overview page is handled by Standard component, All toolbar buttons are already made available which we can see in our display. In Debugging,We can see all required parameters of buttons are getting passed while doing our navigation to the Overview page.
I really appreciate any help from your end!!

I am wanting to import photos from my imac to my ipad. the help page directed me to open the photo button under the device listing on itunes. There is not a photo button and I am connected to the computer. It does show buttons for books, movies, etc.

I want to import photos from iphoto to my ipad. The help button said to press the photo button under the device list. There isn't a photo button shown. Could it be hidden?

If you connect and select your iPad on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes, on the right-hand side of iTunes (not on the left) there should be a series of tabs, one of which should be Photos - if you select that tab you can then select which photo folders or albums/events to sync to the iPad. There is a bit more info on this page. You will need to sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go as only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad - synced photos can't be deleted directly on the iPad, instead they are deleted by not including them in the next photo sync.
